Well apparently his mother owed someone a lot of money and they sent a hitman to kill her. The hitman, Henry, took 15 year old Cal and trained him, treating him like he's his own son, Cal even took his last name. Cal moved out at 19 and does his own gigs, but he still sees Henry when he can.
