The bell rang and all the little kiddies began to run around, trying to find their backpacks.

The teachers took their kids to the front of the school. Some went to the Bus area, others went to the cafeteria for After Care.

Aerois was in After Care, so she waved goodbye to Sammy who was Car(picked up by their parents).

As she walked, she saw a Paratroopa with a emerald green shell. She tapped her shoulder.

"Hi! I just wanted to say your shell looks amazing!" She complimented.

"Thanks! My name's Koopana! I saw you while my class walked to lunch. Your skull necklace looks awesome!" She replied.

"Are you in After Care?"

"Yeah! Let's walk together!"

The two instantly became friends during that walk. Koopana was alone because Katherine and KT are Bus kids. And luckily, they attended the same bus!

"I wonder if AfterCare is fun..." Koopana said nervously.

"I'm sure it is!" Aerois said,"Plus, at least we won't be alone. We'll have lots of fun if we're together!"

They arrived at the cafeteria which was full of kids of all grades(k-5), along with AfterCare leaders.

"Hi! Welcome to CFE's AfterCare!" The purple Goomba from this morning said,"I'm Angie. I remember seeing you this morning Koopana."

She looked at Aerois,"What's your name?"

"Aerois!" Aerois smiled.

"Ooh! Another rare name! Come inside. Right now we're getting everything settled. Sit where ever you'd like." Angie walked away.

"She's so nice." Koopana said.

Aerois nodded in agreement.

The two girls sat down at a table that didn't have many students. Koopana was sitting next to a black haired Toadette who was coloring in her notebook.

"Ooh! You draw so pretty!" Koopana said.

"Thanks! I love to draw." She said,"I'm Cookie!"

"Cookie? Your name is actually Cookie? Cooooool." Aerois said.

"Well... It's actually Apricot. But I don't like it much, so I have people call me Cookie." She grinned.

Koopana introduced herself and her friend,"Well, awesome to meet you Cookie! I'm Koopana. This is my friend Aerois."

Aerois waved. Cookie noticed that her left backpack strap had a sharp shark tooth chained to it.

"*gasps* IS THAT A TOOTH?! Can I touch it?"

"Sure!" Aerois laughed.

Cookie touched the sharp tooth, almost pricking her finger,"Yikes! It's super sharp!"

"Yeah. One day when me and Papa were fishing, he caught a huge shark. Before he began to make it into dinner, he took out one of its teeth, polished it, and gave it to me!" Aerois beamed.

"Who gave you the skull necklace though? Your mom?" Koopana was curious.

"Yeah..." Aerois said, getting quiet.

Cookie and Koopana shared a look of confusion and shrugged.
