"Where's Violet?" Tanai asked Alissa.

Alissa, who was worried about who she'd bring tomorrow, looked at her friend,"Oh um... I don't know. Wasn't she with us in the line?"

"Yes! But then she... Disappeared!"

Alissa nodded. Now she really wanted to know where the girl was. At the corner of her eye she saw a little fairy looking girl and...

"There she is!"

Tanai looked at where Alissa was looking to see Violer with Liz.

"Oh! She was with Liz! In the bathroom...?"

Liz fluttered with Violet to Alissa's table. She waved at Tanai and Alissa.

"Um..." Alissa said softly,"I'm princess Alissa. Nice to meet you."

Liz smiled widely,"I'm Lizy Heart Sprinkles! Just call me Liz."

The two royals shook hands. Violet sat down next to Tanai.

"What took you so long? You've missed like... Half our lunch!" Tanai somewhat scolded Vi.

Violet didn't care,"I just wanted to be alone."

Tanai was a bit hurt by those words. She stopped talking to Violet for the rest of the day. And of course, Violet didn't care.

It was finally 'Take your parents to school' day. Many adults were crowded outside of the school, but it was more congested inside.

"Hi Mrs. Roopa!" Mosie told Tanai's mom.

Mrs. Roopa waved at Mosie and Mosie's mother, Volana(Get it? Sailor Moon? Moon in Malagasy is Volana?) 

Katherine was with her dad, while Jack had Uncle Jackson with him.

"Ah, so this is the Boo girl you were talking about that had a great-granny named Kathlene eh?" Uncle Jackson asked his nephew.

"Yup." Jack said quietly.

Katherine giggled quietly. She hadn't taken her mother, because she knew that her mother would embarrass her to the max.

"Nice to meet you Jackson" Her father shook hands with Uncle Jackson.

The bell rang for the kids to go to their class, so everyone scuffled around, dragging their partner with them.

"Hello everyone! I am Mr. Alpacha, your child's second grade teacher."

The class was full, but the adults were sitting in the back while the children sat in their assigned seats.

Aerois glanced at her father, who seemed to be a bit confused, for he didn't really go to school.

"Wow... Your dad is so... Huge!" KT whispered to Aerois.

"He's a Viking, what do you expect?"

"Where's his helmet?" Cookie asked.

Aerois thought for a moment,"I guess he left it at home."

"How come you didn't bring your mom?" KT asked.

Aerois paused, breathed in,"My mom's in heaven now..."

KT stared at Aerois, feeling guilty that she asked,"Oh... I'm sorry."

So that's why she acts weird when someone mentions anything about moms... Cookie thought.
