This time, Izzy sat next to Tanai during Circle Time. Mrs. Stacy was surprised that Izzy had decided to participate. After the incident yesterday, she was sure the Sprixie was going to repeat the same thing.

"Okay class, today I want to test you."

Mrs. Stacy took out some flash cards.
On one side they had an object and on the other side the name of the shape of the object.

"Okay kids, what is this? Raise your hand."

A little Boo answered,"A bouncy ball!"

"Good job Jay! Now, can someone tell me what shape it is?"

She looked at Izzy,"A circle..."

"Good work Izzy! To the next card..."

The class did this for about forty minutes. It was time for Centers.

Mrs. Stacy explained everything about Centers and the kids headed to any Center.

Tanai and Izzy went to the building center. There were wooden building blocks and Legos.

"Oooh! Building!" Tanai said,"This is my kind of center!"

"If they had an evil center I'd be there right now. But no, they don't." Izzy grumbled.

Tanai chuckled nervously.

Koopana, Katherine, and KT were all sitting at their table, each writing five sentences about a cat named Peesho.

They had to make up a story for Peesho the cat.

"Aaaaaand done! Who wants to read mine?" Katherine asked.

"I finished. Lemme see it. Here, read mine."

The two girls switched papers and began reading. Koopana was still thinking about what to write for her last sentence.

Then an image popped up in her head of Peesho doing something.

"I just finished mine." Koopana said.

"I like yours KT! Here, read KT's while I read yours Koopana." Katherine said.

Koopana took KT's and read:

Peesho is a cat. He is black and white. Peesho runs to the bed. He goes on the bed. Peesho falls asleep.

"Nice story KT!" Koopana switched papers with KT.

"I totally liked Katherine's." KT grinned.

Katherine handed KT Koopana's paper and waited to get her own back.

KT read Koopana's:

Peesho is a kitty cat. He is a fat cat. His eyes are black. Peesho likes milk. Peesho drinks the milk.

Koopana read Katherine's:

Peesho is a small cat. She likes to sleep. She sleeps every day on her bed. Peesho likes to drink water. Peesho also likes to eat cake.

"Alright kids, let me collect your papers." Mr. Rosa said.

He got up and took all papers, heading back to his desk.

"Alrighty kids, let's line up for lunch."

The kids got up and lined up, some of them getting their lunch boxes. They walked out of the door...
