❝ PRIZE DISTRIBUTION ❞

We're finally here, the moment we've all been waiting for!

After anxiously checking the announcements and award updates, frantically hoping that the prizes are finally out and still not feeling like it was going anywhere, WE ARE FINALLY HERE.

Thank you all for being AMAZINGLY patient with me as I got around this, I gotta admit, it did take me a LONG time to get around this and as you might've figured it out by now, I am not the best at following through on deadlines, so this awards did get delayed WAY MORE than it should have but WE'RE FINALLY HERE.

I should probably stop with all the repeated dialogues BUT I am just too excited to keep it in!

Coming to the most important question — how will the prizes even be distributed?

I am here to answer that. So, if you've not noticed till now, there's a JotForm link in the profile of this account and that's exactly where you'd find your prizes.

Let me walk you through the process [I'll use web version for demo but you can totally do the same steps on your phone or tablet]

1. Click on this link in the bio:

2. A page like this should open:

On your phone or tablet, it should look something like this:

3. Scroll down till you see these options:

RCA Prizes- Reader's Choices Awards stickers

Cloud Award Prizes- For this contest of "Cloud Awards" where names are arranged alphabetically [A-Z] order which leads to a drive link where you can find your prizes.

Judges Prizes [SPECIAL]- As a thank you for contributing to this Awards and making it a success, I created a certificate for judges to proudly showcase.

I also plan to have a Judges Wall of Fame and brief about their books, kind of like a promotion, if you will.

4. When you click on "Cloud Award Prizes" you'll scroll down to your name.

5. BUT WAIT there's a warning.

"What do you mean REQUEST ACCESS? Can't I just scroll to my username, grab my prizes and call it a day?"

Unfortunately, no. And the only reason why this is in place is that your login details are right there inside the drive folder and if I kept it open, imagine the chaos and data risk I'd be putting you through. I don't want that.

Simply click request access after you've clicked on your username button and if I know who it is [because previous communications have happened or I know from "information request" sheet that you're the rightful owner wanting to claim your prize], your request will be processed right away and you'll get access to your drive link with all the prizes snuggly sitting in there, waiting for you to use it.

All your stickers and covers will be inside of it, along with the document that has your login details.

I'd recommend changing the password right away and those who got it way long ago, your initial logins will be in there, as well. So, everyone gets a prize and login for their accounts.

6. "I don't understand... why is there two accounts?"

There are, indeed two accounts here as:

☆ Outlook/Gmail Login
☆ Playbook Login

Which means you have a new outlook account and a new playbook account.

"What do I do? Do I have to create something new or just use it? It doesn't make sense!"

Allow me to explain. So, for creating your playbook login, I had to use an email address and since Outlook is the only domain that I found which didn't demand a backup email/phone number every time there were bulk account creations, I opted it for its simplicity.

So, I create your outlook email based on your username, some variations might exist and that's either because I forgot to record the password and ID or it simply didn't work.

But, regardless, after creating your email, I logged in and then I proceeded to create your Playbook Login, which is the same as your outlook login.

Two stones, one arrow sort of strategy. You can use the same login details for both your outlook email or for your playbook login.

7. *scratches head* You keep mentioning Playbook, I don't get it, WHAT IN THE WORLD IS A PLAYBOOK? Am I playing with someone's book? Am I getting played?

Before you start a chronicle over that... I am glad you asked the question.

SIGH. Such notorious kids. I feel like starting a riot over this discussion but I am too sleep-deprived to think straight.

ANYWAY, coming to the point. What is a Playbook exactly and why do I use this service?

Here's what their definition says:

"Playbook.com - file management for ✨creatives✨ to organize, share, and collaborate."

Which basically means, this is like google drive, but for the creatives.

Google Drive's limits are at 15GB and sometimes it can feel like you can't enjoy the full-fledged experience of a cloud storage without thinking about pricing and other technicalities.

Don't get me wrong, cloud storage for business is still essential but this just makes it so much better!!

100 GB for a free-tier cloud storage plan is like hitting the jackpot and if you verify your artist account, you can get up to 4 TB of cloud storage!

8. "Now, okay, you gave me the logins, I logged in, what am I supposed to do?"

Jump out of the window, throw a frying pan across your neighbor's house, start a business for selling pennies for dollars... whatever makes you flipping happy [I don't condone the first two but you're ultimately the master of your mind and actions, don't blame me if you end up in the ER]

But, on a serious note, that had to be addressed, witwew.

Rules and T&C suck and nobody likes reading it BUT I've had one of my AI conversational account get banned because I did something stupid, thinking, "OH that might just result in a serious warning." But no, the account was permanently disabled with all the amazing memories I had in it, gone and I am too embarrassed to ask the moderators or the development team [reaching them is fairly easy, you see] for some solution.

Nobody likes reading the Privacy Policy or Terms and Conditions page, including me but having a general idea of do's and don'ts is ALWAYS better than facing consequences later on.

Instead of addressing what you can put into the playbook file storages, I'm going to give you a list of things can't do with your storage account. I am listing only a few, the rest can be found on their terms page.

Yeah, these are a few things you can't do but other than that, feel free to upload, share and update any of your information on it. Its pretty secure too!

9. "That was a whole soap box opera, anything else you'd want to add?"

Yeah, do me a favor and yeet yourself off the moon—

Actually, don't do that, your presence matters *hands you a cookie* there! enjoy your treats for keeping me company for this long.

Once you have the drive access, you'll see your stickers and your book covers [if you won a HM or a honorable mention].

The book covers will have either of my three watermarks— driftandprint [a business idea in the making but haven't been able to do it yet], SARA (in two different forms: either petal like or typographic with lines over it)

Yep, It'd be my attempts at your book covers. I am not the best designer out there but I definitely have some tricks up my sleeves.

Experience, you see. Not that kind, you—

I guess we're here for a while.

Anyways!! There's only one that I didn't put watermark on and because I was super tired to do the whole process back up again, I decided to leave it there but I do believe in their goodwill to credit me if they do like it because, apparently... graphics stealing has been going around on here A LOT and some of my friends faced it too, so don't be a dragon, will you?

Interviews will be posted in "Let's Get To Know You Better" and it'd come around slowly but surely.

If any of you has not gotten the interview forms AT ALL please let me know in the comments. In any case that you do have it but haven't filled it out, do it! It'd be amazing to see you in spotlight and also get to know you better =D

That's all folks! That's your prices and if anyone wants their scorecard/review, do reach out to me at any time, I'm not deleting it even if its ten years later because sometimes, it helps when you want to binge read that new book about frying penguins [please don't actually fry them, they're precious ;-;]

If you have any further doubts or questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!

cheers,
thetranquilityteam!
