anywillow , you guy need to see this movie called The DUFF . it's the most awkwardly adorable relatable movie ever and if you are into sarcasm , snarky remarks , bitchy characters , budding romance and the right amount of heartbreak , go for it .

right now . like just do it . and then come back and read further . idk if I'll give any spoilers , cause one thing about this rant book is I never read back everything . i'm like , write and post . I've made my mind . if you don't wanna see the movie , I'll just let it all out down there .

so , it's about this normal girl who has two hot friends and they're like a good group y'know what I'm saying ? and she's got this neighbor she's kind of acquainted with . and if you guessed that is a boy who's the Mr Popular , brownies to you ! what happens is that the guy tells her she's the DUFF , the designated fat friend . the one who's approachable and the gateway to their hot friends . the one who's less beautiful , less talented . less .

and that gets to her . so she asks him to help her with the situation in return for chemistry coaching . and she's doing all this for a guy she likes .

so when that guy treats her like the Duff , she's realizes that she likes her neighbor . and when she goes to her crying she finds him making out with his ex girlfriend who's of course the queen bee .

and that's all it takes . she realizes it's not about getting the guy , or having the best reputation . it's about you .

the ending is something everyone on wattpad can guess so I'll just let you speculate and enjoy if you actually see the movie .

it just made me realize that we're all duffs in our own , weirded ways . and I think I like that . all the insecurity i've got about having a dark complexion , glasses , and my stupid stretch marks is kind of irrelevant next to that guy who's getting bullied cause he's gay . or that girl who's treated like shit cause she's short and horrible looking .

that at least I have something that they don't . but that is not enough . I don't wanna be going about telling people to be GrAtEfUl .

it's about making them realize that being just okay is okay .
