- "Hyung, this is my friend Park Jimin. Jimin this is Min Yoongi. Hyung is the one who wrote that song Tomorrow I have been obsessing over. He just started as a music producer here."

- "Oh Taehyung you are too much. Anyway I know Jimin."

- "You do?"

- "Well this is our formal introduction. He comes to the café I am work at daily."

- "So you are the one who gives him different muffins everyday?"

- "You know about me?"

- "Yeah I do."

Taehyung giggled and Yoongi observed Jimin looking at Taehyung with an irritated expression. Yoongi extended his hand towards Jimin.

- "So you do notice me. Nice to meet you formally Jimin."

Jimin looked at the extended hand and then back to Yoongi. He did not shake his hand but nodded his head at Yoongi.

Yoongi felt excitement running through him. He had been pondering over the same thing since morning that he would not be able to see Jimin that day but somewhere someone existed who had heard him. That day was one of the best in his life. He had landed the job of the music producer in one of the biggest entertainment companies in Korea, made a new friend whom he liked and had been officially introduced to Jimin. Maybe he had an opportunity to ask Jimin out.

Fifteen minutes into the gathering, Taehyung had lodged himself into a full-fledged conversation with both Yoongi and Jimin. Yoongi had learned that Taehyung knew Jimin since college. They used to live together before they moved to Seoul. Taehyung had studied music production and Jimin art history. Jimin used to paint as a hobby and had done two exhibitions. That explained Jimin's doodling in his notebook. Yoongi liked listening to Taehyung. The younger boy was very cheerful and talkative which Yoongi liked about him. Yoongi was himself a quiet person, keeping most of his thoughts locked in his mind but he did like to be surrounded by honest people with warm hearts.

Yoongi had noticed that Jimin never participated in the conversation. Even when Taehyung told about some funny incident involving Jimin to Yoongi, Jimin never acknowledged them and just kept looking at some other direction. Yoongi could not figure out Jimin. First he had decided that maybe Jimin was rude but from the stories he heard from Taehyung from their college life he had learnt that Jimin was anything but shy or rude. He seemed to have been quite cheerful and funny in college just as Taehyung still was but the Jimin Yoongi saw sitting in front of him was very different.

- "So as I was saying hyung, Bang is a pretty cool boss. You are gonna get many perks from him. Mark my words."

Taehyung was stopped in the middle of the conversation because of his phone ringing. Yoongi watched Taehyung looking at his phone his eyes furrowed.

- "Hyung I have got to take this. Jimin-ah wait for me."

Yoongi nodded his head at Taehyung but Jimin did not even look at him. Taehyung went out of the cafeteria with the phone talking hurriedly into it. Yoongi took this opportunity to observe Jimin closely. He saw Jimin playing with his fingers and looking at the menu. Jimin was definitely very beautiful there was no denying that. From what he had heard from Taehyung, Jimin was very talented too. Yoongi decided to take the opportunity to perk up a conversation with Jimin.

- "I am Min Yoongi by the way."

Jimin looked at Yoongi. Jimin had a piercing gaze which made his heart flutter.

- "I know, I heard Taehyung."

- "But I thought your mind was somewhere else."

Jimin snapped his eyes back to Yoongi. Yoongi knew that he should not have said that to Jimin but he could not just stop himself. Jimin was a mystery to Yoongi which he felt the desire to unravel. Yoongi enjoyed bringing out different expressions on Jimin's face.

- "Why do you deliberately give me the wrong order everyday?"

- "Why do you tolerate it everyday?"

- "Why do you always talk back?"

- "Why do you always stay quiet?"

- "Why do you think that you know everything?"

- "Why don't you let me know everything about you? I want to know you Jimin."

Jimin stared at Yoongi, his mouth hanging open. Yoongi looked directly into Jimin's eyes. Jimin's eyes were a warm brown color which seemed to turn dark brown whenever he was angry or upset. It was that dark brown colour then. Maybe Yoongi had talked too much. Jimin stood up and left the table without looking back at Yoongi even once.

Yoongi was surprised at Jimin's reaction. He could not understand what was the younger male's problem. Jimin seemed to avoid all sorts of confrontations. It was as if he deliberately closed himself off. Yoongi drank the rest of his coffee and got ready to leave himself. Taehyung returned back a few minutes later.

- "Where did Jimin go?"

- "He got pissed at me and left."

- "You pissed Jimin off?"

- "Well yeah. Seems like I did."

Taehyung burst out laughing. Yoongi had never seen anyone laugh like that before. Tears were practically coming out of Taehyung's eyes.

- "Oh hyung, you are too good."

- "I did not really get what happened. Anyway..."

- "What did you say to him?"

- "Nothing just asked him something which he did not like."

- "Like?"

- "Jimin seems interesting. I would like to get to know him better in the future."

Taehyung's laughing suddenly stopped and he became serious.

- "Well hyung, Jimin is not exactly the getting to know type. I wished that he was like that."

- "Why is that?"

- "Well..."

- "Well?"

- "Just know that I don't know how should I say this to you but Jimin is a very dear friend to me. We are practically brothers. I love that soul. Hyung, you seem good not the talking behind someone type so I am saying it to you but somethings have happened in the past which has turned Jimin like this."

- "What?"

- "I cannot say that. I am sorry. But it is better if you leave him alone."

- "Well I really like him so I cannot do that."

- "What do you mean you like him?"

- "Exactly what it sounds."

- "Hyung are you gay?"

- "Yes."

- "Oh!"

- "Is he?"

- "Yes. I am too."

- "Do I have a chance?"

- "I don't really think so."

- "Well I like challenges."

- "Jimin is not exactly a challenge hyung. He is a maze."

- "We shall see."

- "If you can do that I will forever be grateful to you."
