~Time Skip to Oracion Seis Arc~

"Team Natsu will go."

Natsu and YN simultaneously raised their fists in the air.

"YEAH!"

"ALL  RIGHT!"

"OW!! ERZA WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" they both yelled angrily as the redhead smacked them over their heads.

"We are going to be meeting other people from other guilds. Everyone had better be on their best behavior or there will be punishment to face. That means no fighting," she said, glaring at Natsu, Gray, and YN, "And being polite."

YN groaned. She wasn't good at polite. "Erza we're Fairy Tail, literally no one expects us to be civil or polite. They're gonna expect fights and definitely not gonna expect us to walk up to them and wish them good morning. Greeting by random flying chair is more fun anyway."

"YN's right. No one is ready for a polite and non overly destructive Fairy Tail," said Natsu.

Erza glared at them, "I don't care if it isn't how Fairy Tail wizards usually behave themselves, but frankly it does not help our image."

"Of course it does," argued YN, "If our image is this hella destructive guild that does whatever, which it is."

"I gave you your instructions, so follow them."

"You should both just follow those instructions. It wont be the end of you," advised Gary.

"Shuddup Stripper," muttered YN.

"You wanna go?"

"I thought we should 'follow Erza's orders'" mimicked YN, much to Gray's annoyance, but before he could retaliate, Erza spoke up, "Go home and pack, everyone. We will meet at the train station in an hour."

Muttering, all of Team Natsu walked out of the door, heading home to pack for the trip. Usually, YN, Mizu, Natsu, and Happy walked home together, but this time, they were accompanied by a certain celestial wizard.

"Hey Natsu, do you live near the guild?" Lucy asked.

Natsu shrugged, "Not really."

He went back to chatting with YN. Lucy seemed a bit angered by the fact that he hadn't really paid her much attention. She smiled secretly.

She gave a small, convincing shriek as she 'tripped' on a crack in the sidewalk. Both YN and Natsu turned around and looked at her curiously.

"Lucy, why are you on the ground?" Happy spoke up.

"I tripped, obviously. Is no one going to help me up?" She was hoping for Natsu, but was completely disappointed when YN offered her hand to her. Reluctantly, Lucy took it and pulled herself up. Well that plan was a failure, she thought.

*Timeskip to the train station*

"I DON'T WANNA!!!!"

"YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!"

"NATSU, WE'LL WALK, RIGHT?!"

"YEP! ABSOLUTELY!"

Before YN and Natsu could run away from the train station, however, Erza grabbed them both and slammed their heads together, effectively knocking them out. Lucy sighed and walked onto the train with Erza and Happy, leaving Gray with two knocked out dragon slayers at his feet.

"HEY! HOW COME I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THESE TWO?!"Gray grumbled as he dragged YN and Natsu onto the train and dumped them into their seats. As if on instinct, they both leaned against each other, still unconscious.

"I've noticed this before, but whenever we get on a train, YN and Natsu always lean against each other... Why is that?" Lucy asked.

"I dunno," Gray answered, seemingly uninterested in the topic.

"That's a question you would have to ask them," Erza said, taking out a sword to polish.

YN suddenly got up, causing Natsu to tumble onto the ground and hit his head, effectively waking him up.

"Oh no...."

"The train..."

As if on cue, the train started moving, and the two dragon slayers leaned next to each other once again and groaned in misery. Eventually, the train pulled up and the two dragon slayers fought to be the first one out of the train.

Finally, Erza sighed and kicked them both out, where they landed unceremoniously on the concrete while the rest of the team laughed.

"Natsu, get off of me! You weigh like a jillion tons!" YN tried pushing Natsu off.

Indignant, Natsu replied, "I do not! I'll have you know I have been on a DIET the past two weeks!!"

"Eating only one less of everything you usually eat doesn't count as a diet, Natsu, especially when you still eat so much," YN scoffed. "NOW GET OFF!!!"

Muttering insults at YN, Natsu got off and stretched. "Man, I feel like were were on that Hell Ride for HOURS. Where do we go now?"

*timeskip to when they arrive with Blue Pegasus*

"Erza, why are we here, again?" YN asked lazily as she looked at the building.

"We are supposed to meet the other guilds here to discuss a plan of action for taking down Oracion Seis."

"We don't need other guilds! I'm enough to beat the crap outta those guys!" Natsu exclaimed, lighting his fists in fire.

Ignoring him, Erza continued, "Remember, guys, be completely respectful and I want good behavior from you guys. That means no fighting," she stared at Natsu and YN, "No silly pranks," she stared at Natsu and Happy this time, only glancing over YN, "And for heaven's sake, Gray, keep your clothes on!"

"Where are my clothes, anyway?"

The group sighed collectively.

"Hey, its dark in here..." YN muttered as they walked in.

Suddenly, the room brightened and the Trimens appeared.

"Meeeen~"

Immediately, Erza looked sick.

YN stared at the boys flirting with her in slight disgust, but mostly amusement.

"Why, YN, you look more beautiful than ever, the pictures in Weekly Sorcerer really don't do you justice," Hibiki said with a wink.

"Hello, again, to you too, Hibiki," YN laughed.

Hibiki and YN met at a bar near Blue Pegasus about a year before, when YN had reluctantly agreed to accompany Cana for some fun. They became friends, though Hibiki constantly flirted with her.

Natsu subconsciously let out a growl as he watched YN laugh with Hibiki. As he realized, he sat up, confused. Why did he feel mad at Hibiki?

*Tiny timeskip cause I don't wanna describe Lamia Scale's arrival, sorry*

The door opened again and a small girl with long blue hair ran in. Everyone stared in curiosity as she ran, then tripped right in front of the group.

YN gasped, "Wendy?!"

Looking up, Wendy smiled in recognition, "YN!"

YN ran to Wendy and hugged her tightly, squealing, "Long time no see!!! You're still tiny though..."

"You know her?" asked Erza.

"Yep! We met on a mission a while ago. I didn't know you were going to be part of this mission, too!" YN said.

"W-well, master said this mission was really important for everyone's safety, so I really wanted to help with whatever it was," Wendy mumbled.

"If it was so important, why would they only send one member? A little girl, at that?" Lyon inquired.

YN saw that Wendy was visibly about to cry. "Guys, she's really strong, she can definitely help us, even if its at least support. She's the Sky Dragon Slayer!" YN said quickly.

At this, Natsu pushed Gray out of the way to talk to Wendy. Or rather, to yell excited questions at her, "A dragon slayer? How come I never seen you before? You do smell like one. Who was your dragon? Did he disappear on Ju-"

"Natsu, I already asked those questions," YN interrupted. "Her dragon also disappeared on the same date as ours."

"Oh..." Natsu said, disappointed. "Wait. How come you never told me about meeting another dragon slayer?"

"I guess I forgot, hehe," YN said sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck and looking away. "But you never asked where I got my healing magic from. I would'a told you about Wendy and her healing magic!"

"Woah, so you have healing magic?" Natsu turned his attention back to Wendy.

"W-well, yeah. Its part of the training I got from Grandeeney before she disappeared," Wendy mumbled, obviously still shy at all the attention she was getting. Suddenly she put her head up. There were still tears threatening to fall from her eyes, but she had a look of determination on her face.

"I can help on this mission! I may not be the best at fighting, but I am really helpful to support the people who are! So please, don't leave me behind! I wanna help..." the tears were starting to fall.

"Of course we won't leave you, Wendy!" YN said happily.

"She's a dragon slayer. Obviously she's strong!" exclaimed Natsu.

"She may only be a little girl, but I see there is definitely strength in her. She will come along," Erza said with an air of authority.

"Meeeeen~ if my Erza agrees, I agree," said Ichiya, causing Erza to immediately look nauseous.

Wendy smiled brightly as the group started to discuss the plan. YN sat down on the floor to watch the mini presentation given by the Blue Pegasus.

Natsu watched as YN smiled sweetly at Wendy and patted the ground beside her. He watched as she slung her arm around Wendy, as if to offer protection and reassurance. He smiled.

"You loooooooove her," Natsu jumped at the loud whisper from the blue cat flying next to his ear.

"Shut up, Happy," he hissed. Happy flew off giggling.

He sighed, still staring at YN, only barely keeping track of the plan.

He couldn't possibly love her. She was his best friend. Nothing more. They had been by each other's sides since they met. There's no way he could love her as something more than that.

A/N

Okay, I took a very long time to update this story, and I apologize.

I started finishing this chapter a few days ago, but I had an unbelievably hard time getting the story to move along. I knew what I wanted to happen, and I knew how I wanted the chapter to end because I know what the next chapter has to be.

The problem was getting to those parts, my transitions are shitty. Sorry.

This chapter was shorter than the others because I already have the next chapter completely planned out and I couldn't have this one butt into it.

Word Count: 1,568

Not even 2 thousand, I am ashamed of myself, but at least I finally updated.
