The next day came and Memeow was walking to school, she looked down as she hummed a song that she was listening to yesterday after school. She watched as her feet stepped on small pebbles, listening to the small crunch sounds it made under her shoes. She wasn't watching where she was going and ended up running into Shi. Memeow stepped back and dizzily looked up at the blue-haired boy in front of her. She blushed in embarrassment and quickly covered her face with her bangs.

"I-I'm so sorry Shi!! I didn't mean to run into you! I wasn't watching where I was going!!" Shi turned around and looked at the purple haired girl and smiled and chuckled slightly, "It's alright. I understand." Memeow sighed in relief and mumbled to herself, "I should really watch where I'm going.." Shi smiled more and moved Memeow's bangs from her face, revealing a blush spread across her cheeks. Memeow blushed more as her face widened, "Wh-what's with that smile?!" She yelled as Shi continued to smile. "It's nothing, it's just funny seeing you like this."

Memeow just pouted and continued on her way to school as Shi quickly walked by her side. Memeow went back to humming the song. Shi smiled and held her hand causing Memeow to yet again blush. They continued walking to school and finally arrived at their destination. Shi let go her hand and sweetly smiled at the girl. "You blush a lot, it's cute." Memeow blushed a crimson red, the blush formed all across her face. She tried to cover her face, but Shi stopped her. "Don't cover your face." Memeow closed her eyes, "Wh-why not?!" Shi just chuckled, "Because you're cute, and I don't wanna miss out on seeing you blush." Memeow looked down and smiled.

Shi gently patted her head. "Are we friends?" Memeow mumbled out. Shi chuckled and lifted her head, "Of course we are Memeow!" Memeow smiled, "I'm glad we are." The two smiled and made their way to their class as the bell rung starting the school day. The two put their stuff away and sat down in their assigned seats. The other students pilled in and sat down, waiting for the teacher to start the daily lesson. Their teacher started the lesson not too shortly.

Once lunchtime came around the two went to the lunchroom and quickly ate their food then made their way to the playground. Memeow went to a small group of flowers and picked them, turning it into a flower crown. Shi sat beside her watching her make the flower crown. Once she finished she showed Shi and smiled. "Can you put it on me?" Shi nodded and gently placed the flower crown on her head. "You look like a pretty princess!!" Memeow blushed a little, "Thank you, my dear knight." They both laughed at the nicknames they gave each other. "Let's go on the swings," Memeow said as she stood up and walked to the swings. "As you wish princess," Shi said as he followed behind the little girl.

They got on the swings beside each other and started to swing, going back and forth. They continued to swing until it was time to go back to class. Memeow frowned when she had to take her flower crown off. Shi helped her take it off, "It's ok, we can get it after school." Memeow smiled slightly, "Promise?" Shi smiled too, "I promise." Shi placed it near a tree so he could remember where he put it and they made their way to class. They continued to listen to the teacher but hardly paid attention. They just wanted school to be over already.
