(I'm so sorry, please kill me. Hate me, I'm a horrible author)

    Once the two reached the school a crowd of girls ran over to Shi, pushing Memeow away in the process. Memeow frowned and slowly walked into the school as Shi tried to push through the fangirls.

    Memeow dragged her feet, slowly making her way to her class. She wished more like wanted Shi to walk beside her. She didn't want to feel lonely again. She wanted to walk to class hand in hand, and not be alone. Alone in the dark abyss, cold and alone again.

    She walked into her class and sat down, looking down at her desk and sighed. She then took out her notebook and a pencil. She sat back and waited for the bell to ring. A few minutes later Shi walked in the class with a face that said, "I hate life". He sat next to Memeow and looked at her, smiling slightly. Memeow just puffed out her cheeks and looked away from him, Shi sighed and looked to the front of the class, then back to Memeow. He looked down at her and rubbed her head.

    "You know.. I didn't mean for that to happen, I really didn't. And I'm sorry. Please forgive me, my princess."

    Memeow looked up at him, tears forming in her eyes. Her hazel eyes welling up with the slightly salty water substance, she closed her eyes and the tears that were forming slowly went down her cheeks. One after the other, as if she couldn't stop crying. He hugged her tightly and rubbed her back.

    "Shh.. It's fine, I'm not leaving my princess. I'm your knight, it's my duty to guard you." He said in a calming tone, rubbing her back still.

    Memeow calmed down after a bit, got out of Shi's arms, and wiped away her tears. "P-promise? Promise you won't leave me?" She said as some of her bangs covered her red and swollen face.

    "I promise I won't ever leave your side. 'Cause that's where I belong, by your side." He said smiling and brushing her hair back.

    Memeow blushed, smiling back, just as the teacher came in. Getting ready for the class to begin. She looked towards the front of the class, as Shi reached for her hand. He placed his hand in hers and locked their fingers together. He smiled and so did Memeow, the class then began with students pilling into the classroom and then the teacher giving a long lecture about who knows what.

    After the bell rang signaling that it's now lunch time. The two got up, grabbed their belongings, and walked out of the class hand on hand.

    They walked to their lockers and put away their things. Then walked to the cafeteria hand in hand, they sat by each other and took out their lunch.

    After they finished their lunch they went outside to play, Memeow ran to the swings with Shi following behind. The two sat on the swings next to each other.

    They talked, told each other jokes, and laughed as other students played around them. Nothing seemed to bother the two as if they were in a world of their own.
