Damian's POV

The sun was what woke me up. It glowed harshly through the window and into my eyes. I sat up, still groggy as yesterdays events came flooding back. I was still in my Robin uniform. I rubbed my eyes with my gloved hands and left my room, walking down the hall to the bathroom. As I flicked on the light and looked into the mirror my heart stopped. Blood was smeared around my eyes. I looked down at my hands and they were covered in crimson. My whole torso was! Who's blood-?

"Your fault." What? Who-? "It was your fault. You were too late. You couldn't save me in time."

"Todd? No! It's not my fault! I-!"

"YOUR FAULT!!!"

"NO!!!" I slid down the bathroom wall, covering my ears. A hand landed on my shoulder.

"You're just remarkable. Your grandfather would be proud." Mother?

"What do you-?"

"Look at what you did! Betraying your "brother"? Remarkable!" Mother glowed as she gestured to the blood on my uniform. I looked down and a sword rested in my hands. The same sword Mother stabbed Todd with.

"No! This is your fault! Your fault!!!"

"YOUR FAULT!!!"
"Damian! MASTER DAMIAN WAKE UP!!!" I shot up with a start, frantically looking around the room at all the concerned faces. Drake and Grayson stood in the corner looking nervous, almost scared. "Master Damian you should change clothes." Pennyworth spoke calmly to me. I looked down and stared at my crimson covered uniform. In a flurry of panic I began to tear at it, desperate to get it off.

"Dami calm down, it's ok." Grayson cooed, coming over to assist me in removing my gloves. I was shaking? What was going on?

"Damian. Jason is-" Father started but I didn't want to hear a word from him.

"Leave. I don't want to hear a word from you." I snapped, glaring up at him. He didn't have his usual scowl on. His face was more sincere, clouded with a hint of guilt.

"You can go down and see him now..." With that final sentence, Father left the room, looking down at the floor as he walked.
