BASIC DETAILS;;
------ Name: Curse.
Interesting. It's spooky, but not overly done like all the Doomshadows and Deathbloods and Moongalaxydreamcatchers out there. Also has a nice ring to it, while still sounding relatively normal(ish).

------ Age: Currently 25 years old.
*finger guns*

------ Gender: Male (sometimes goes by the pronouns they/them).
Sometimes?
You gotta elaborate a bit. By this, do you mean when other dragons don't know his gender they refer to him as they/them? Or do you mean he himself changes to another gender and/or sometimes prefers those pronouns? (In which case, look up the definition of "genderfluid" right now.)

------ Sexuality: Asexual/Aromantic.
Wow! I really am thrilled at all the lovely ace dragons we're seeing here in the fandom. It makes me so happy to see the LGBT+ community getting so much recognition, especially the lesser-known orientations out there.

------ Tribe: Vampiric NightWing.
As far as I know, you're one of the first to attempt this concept. I'm expecting it to very quickly become unoriginal, but as the official(?) trendsetter you are allowed lee-way.

------ Abilities: Long front teeth capable of draining blood from a vein of prey or dragon, average claws, excellent night vision.
I like that you haven't gone overboard - yes, there's the vampire fangs, but you haven't also elongated his claws or given him weird powers. The only thing I'd maybe suggest is adding some sort of vampiric disadvantage to counterbalance this; perhaps an aversion to sunlight, or even something as simple as a garlic allergy.
Also, for the record, I'm so so so relieved you didn't make him into a Twilight-style vampire.

------ Flaws (relating to abilities): Curse doesn't really know how to speak all that well, his mother left when he was still growing and had only taught him few words. His flight, as a result of his mother as well, is not very good. He prefers to walk or run instead.
Hey hey hey - this is perfect. When I heard a vampire, I immediately envisioned someone sophisticated with perfect charm and definitely a wide set of abilities.
This makes him seem more like what a vampire should be depicted as: a creature. Not quite human (or in this case, dragon). More ferine. Less... attractive.

------ Relationship Status: He never wants one.
Edgy lil' nerd. I'm going to hug him.

------ Occupation: Traveller/Occasional tradesman.
Interesting. Most other people would just put his job as "vampire". So, points for creativity!

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION;;
Curse has a dark purple coloring of his scales with a lighter toned underbelly. His build is large (leading to a clumsy walking posture) and an average height.
*eyes American spelling suspiciously*
All this seems pretty logical for a NightWing. So, you're all good here.

His secondary color is an of red. Scales such as his wing membrane, spines on his back, forehead scales, and arm scales have turned a dark red over time.
"An of red" doesn't really make sense.
But anyway, I'm not sure how possible red is in a NightWing. I suppose exceptions could be made, what with him being a vampiric dragon and all, but it does make him seem a little overly villain-like. Of course, if you're able to make the dark and red scheme work, then great!

His scleras are black with a blue iris (these traits are a result of the vampire curse laid upon him).
The whole "black scleras" thing is a tad overused (especially among the edgy murderous characters and their ever-growing popularity), but at least you've offered an explanation other than "he was evil so it happened".

He wears a single gold earring on his left ear and on his left cheek there is an odd tattooed symbol (four spirals going inward and connecting).
Interesting! I can tell you've put a lot of detail and thought into that symbol. I'd love to find out where he got that tattoo from, though.

PERSONALITY;;
Curse is aggressive and doesn't allow many dragons to approach him or where he is currently living.
Curse sounds like me in the morning.

Though he doesn't allow dragons to approach him, he will approach others on his own with his own intentions.
Ooo, I like the contrast here. It makes him very interesting.

Most times it is simply to observe what a normal dragon's life is like as he watches from a nearby cover.
I dearly love you, and this character is going great so far - but the whole idea of spying on the normal world just to find out what "normal" is like is altogether a bit too overused. Remember, Curse will only have ever lived out one lifetime: his own. If he was born like this (that is, as a vampire), it's more likely that he'll take most of his own life for granted, and view the rest of the world as outsiders. So if he's going to spy on these dragons, it'll be to study their odd ways and marvel over how weird or mundane their lives are.

He's very curious but very quiet and prefers not to speak.
Once again, nice contrast. I can imagine this would land him in several schemes.

If a dragon is unlucky, Curse will approach with the intention of preying on them and draining them of blood.
Here we are; the classical vampire behaviour.
Is this why he studies them? To watch their habits and prey on suspected weaklings? If so, you need to say something. Perhaps also go into detail about how he chooses his victim, and why he prefers dragon blood over regular blood.
Another thing you might want to think about: does his bite have any side effects? While it obviously wouldn't leave a gaping wound - it'd be more like two puncture marks, similar to a snake bite - it could still result in infection or severe bleeding. In many fictional works, the bite of a vampire transforms the victim into a vampire - but I really wouldn't recommend incorporating that trait. Instead, I'd focus on Curse's teeth.
As we all know from The Dark Secret, NightWings have killed prey for decades by biting them, then leaving the wound to rot. This suggests that while the tribe definitely doesn't have venom, they will likely have some form of lethal bacteria in their mouths - to find out more about how this works, I'd recommend researching Komodo dragons. Their bite is said to be lethal due to the immense amounts of bacteria in their mouths - this has actually been disproved by scientists, but you may want to dig around some old resources just to get an understanding of how the whole "bacterial bite" concept works.
Anyway, it's very likely that Curse's teeth will possess some sort of disease - and that they could pick up new diseases from the blood. Say he bit a dragon with HIV/AIDS (yuck yuck yuck, but it was the first blood-spreading disease I could think of)... then bit another uninfected dragon? The chances are, if he didn't wash those fangs out, he could very easily become an unwitting plague-spreader.
All this isn't necessarily a bad thing - in fact, it makes him scarier. And without adding any sort of creepy new power to the mix. Bonus!
I'm just recommending you think a bit more about all this; you have a whole world of opportunity at your hands!

He does this by attacking at night from behind when he's most active and knocking the dragon out, if it ends up being a fight, he will fight until it's proven that the dragon is too strong and then he flees silently.
Interesting, interesting. I would've thought he'd be more likely to go for the weak - old or injured, or very young. Of course, he could just have very poor judgement, but I feel like we'd benefit more if you told us exactly why he chooses who he chooses.
Another thing you might want to consider is whether of not Curse has been discovered before; and if so, how he reacts. Does he want to be found? Does he flee? Or does he kill the witnesses?

BACKSTORY;;

So you mentioned you needed help with this. Well, at this point, let's start with the things we know:

• His mother abandoned him at a young age.
• His father does not appear to be present for any portion of his life.
• He was cursed to become a vampire.
• He lives somewhere near (or relatively near) to a large group of dragons, or at least an area that dragons frequent. But he also lives in enough of an isolated area that no authorities have been roused or felt it necessary to investigate and/or apprehend this bloodthirsty dragon.

I'd recommend you work around these.

First things first, I'd advise you to first consider the setting. Where was he hatched? Where does he currently live?
As I've said, it'd have to be relatively near to an area with plentiful dragons, which rules out the NightWing volcano. So, possibly the rainforest, if you'd like him to still remain in close contact with the tribe - or somewhere with many dragons, where the presence of an elusive NightWing wouldn't arouse suspicion; for instance, Possibility, or one of the numerous mountain ranges dotting Pyrrhia. You could even consider the Talons of Peace - although once again, this puts him in very close contact with the NightWings, so it depends on whether or not you'd like this.

Second of all, his family: where do his parents come from? How did they meet? Why is his father not present? Does this relate to his mother's later disappearance? Who took care of him with his mother gone?
Here you could perhaps incorporate a journey of instinct. At the time of his mother's abandonment, I'm assuming he'd be able to walk and move about fairly decently. So, he would be able to seek out shelter and escape any oncoming predator somewhat efficiently. Did he have his vampiric fangs back then?
If so, did he use them?

Which brings about my next question - how or why was Curse cursed?
This could be due to any number of reasons. I'll list a few below.

• Survival, compassion, and a mistake. (Or revenge).
Perhaps his abandonment was how this happened in the first place. Imagine a young dragonet, wandering about, helpless, and stumbling weakly into the nearest cave entrance he sees. Which could, incidentally, belong to a magician of some sort - which in Pyrrhian terms means it's more likely than not to be an animus. Who I can imagine would be enraged by the presence of a blustering, stumbling dragonet - and even more so when the youngster begs for food.
"Food? I don't have any food. Go get your own!"
"But... but... I don't know how."
"How? I'll show you how, you insolent brat!"
So, all terrible direct speech intervals aside, there is always the possibility that a dragon could have cursed him simply to keep him alive. And, in the case of this very grouchy animus, to fuel their own rage. Or perhaps the curse could have even been intended as a blessing. A gift, even. What resulted could have been an honest mistake.

• Vengeful NightWings.
Assuming he wasn't raised in the Night Kingdom, it's likely that Curse and his mother will have had the tribe's authorities hot on their tails for some time (NightWings being the secretive dragons they are, it's unlikely that they'd be particularly keen on one of their number escaping, thus bringing about the risk of accidentally - or deliberately - revealing their secrets to the outside world). Perhaps this hex was cast by an animus NightWing (which is canonically possible) as a form of revenge - that could also be why his mother left: fear of her monstrous-seeming son.

• Failed animus experiment/ultimate weapon/soldier.
Hey, it happens. Perhaps his curse was simply a test. "Hey, would this be possible? What would happen if...?"
This could've been something done by the NightWings. Perhaps, while searching for the perfect warriors for their army (bearing in mind that they were planning to conquer the rainforest), the NightWings hired/commanded their animus (or they could've just conveniently "borrowed" from another tribe, like the SeaWings - although as far as I know the other tribes aren't aware that the SeaWings have an animus bloodline) to enchant a dragonet/egg to become the ultimate killing monster. And, somehow, wound up with this: a vampire.
He would ultimately be abandoned by the tribe, passed off as a "defect" or a failure.

• His mother could've enchanted him.
I'll leave the motive up to you; but it is entirely possible that his mother could've been the animus who enchanted him in the hopes of raising a "perfect" son (bearing in mind that most battle-hungry Pyrrhians seem to define "perfect" as "bloodthirsty and convenient for own cause").
But then, realising how dangerous her dragonet truly is, his mother could've become afraid or daunted. Or, if she expected more, disappointed. Hence why she fled.

Thirdly and finally, you should probably talk a bit about his connections to other dragons; his first victim, what made him decide to continue, whether he feels any guilt about it. You may want to incorporate some of the earlier events in his life here: emotions stirred over the loss of his mother, bitterness (or lack thereof) concerning his curse. How he ended up becoming a tradesman.

Have any authorities attempted to investigate, subdue, befriend or apprehend him? If so, how did they go? How many dragons have discovered him? Has he ever had to kill anyone to preserve his safety/privacy?

If you wanted, you could also try involve the Dark Scales in there somewhere (perhaps as a substitute for the NightWings); it's always fun to have your OCs interconnect, and can also be very entertaining.

As I've said, it's a whole world of possibilities out there!

COMMENTS;;
------ The good...
Curse is, as far as I'm aware, one of the first of his kind in Pyrrhia - and you've pulled him off excellently! You haven't abused to vampire concept, and you've made sure to equip him with plenty of flaws. He's pretty edgy, I'll admit, but it's all within reason.

------ The bad...
I'd possibly watch out for a few things concerning his colouring and abilities. Remember, that red scale gradient sounds nice, but would probably hinder camouflage quite a bit (which would be an issue with thing such as hunting). And then, of course, there is his backstory - which you need to consider. See below.

------ How you can improve!
You asked for backstory help, so I'm just going to point you up in that direction ^^.
I'd also maybe think about adding a side effect to his bite - again, refer to the general up (namely Abilities).

OVERALL RATING;; 7/10.
For a developing OC, Curse is looking to be a very promising young dragon! You've managed to put just enough edge in their to make him sharp without immediately threatening every single reader; so overall, great job!

Also, since it's the 25th here, merry Christmas and happy Hannukah to everyone out there! I hope you all have a blessed time.

- Slightly Festive Siri Mom.
