God save our gracious Aliens -(Ronan O'Boyle)

God save our gracious Aliens

"But you're our only hope," the Alien said as he stood beside what I think was a female of his species in my back garden.

"Why me?" I said. "You have a whole planet to choose from?"

"It has to be you." He answered loudly. "Our race is been ravaged by an interstellar ancient decease originating from your planet. Your unique, the only one in the world who is still immune. All we need is to take your blood on our spaceship-"

"Can't. Taking my blood goes against my religion, sorry I can't help you," I said and as I was about to close my door.

The alien jammed it with its foot.

"You have to! Our race will die without your help!" he roared.

Lucky for me the female held him back.

"Surely your God couldn't want that?" she pleaded.

I must say despite her ugly appearance, her eyes looked so sad. I was almost tempted to give in.

Almost.

"If my God had meant your race to live he wouldn't have made my blood immune. God's will be done." With that I slammed the door shut.

"God why do you test me so. Some times I wished you didn't call me to the priesthood."

I stayed at the door listening to the two aliens fearing what they will do next.

"We could force him-" I heard the female say."No." The male answered.

"His species has weak hearts he would be dead by the time we got him on our spaceship and with him our cure. It's over. Call Earth tell them we failed."

With that the ape like creatures turned and left my borrow.

My tail drooped in sadness.

Shame but God's will be done.
