Memories consume
Like opening the wound
I'm picking me apart again

You stood in your own refresher tightly holding your antidepressants. You thought to the moment when you got diagnosed, it was only three years ago. You weren't doing the things you loved and went to go see a doctor about the problem. Your mental health had declined over the past few days after you got diagnosed. You hated this, you just wanted the suffering to end already.

You all assume
I'm safe here in my room
Unless I try to start again

You told some of your friends and family about it but they said that it was a phase, you'll get over it. Them saying that made your depression worse. From then on, you started to see a therapist to cope with your mental illness. Therapy wasn't working for you, so you resorted to the last thing you didn't want to do, self-harm.

Sure, it hurt at first but you could handle it. Over time, your cutting habit got out of control and now you can't stop. You always had to wear long sleeves to hide your cuts so no one was worried about you. You had become a hollow shell that only knew sadness and how to fake a smile.

I don't know what's worth fighting for
Or why I have to scream
I don't know why I instigate
And say what I don't mean

You had met Fives and Echo when they were sent to protect the town you lived in. You had bonded with the two when you got caught in a fire and they came to save you. They asked you if you were okay and you said that you were fine even though you were mentally screaming for help. They took you and a few other survivors back to Coruscant and got your wounds treated. Since then, they have been your best friends for two years.

I don't know how I got this way
I know it's not alright
So I'm breaking the habit
I'm breaking the habit, tonight

You opened your medication bottle and took out one pill. You set it on the counter as you closed the bottle and filled a glass with water. You put the pull in your mouth and took a drink of water, making it go down your throat. You then took the blade that was sitting on the counter and hovered it over wrist.

'Why am I hesitating? I've done this before.' You thought.

You put down the knife and sighed as you put your hands on your face. You walked out of the refresher and towards the door leading into a hallway. Because you were great friends with Fives and Echo, General Skywalker had been generous and gave you your own room near the barracks. Speaking of him, you spotted him walking down the hallway with his padawan, Ahsoka.

Clutching my cure
I tightly lock the door
I try to catch my breath again

"Hey, (Y/n)! Would you like to walk with us?" Ahsoka asked you with enthusiasm.

"Sure." You simply said, faking a smile.

You took your place next to her and started to match their pace. They were talking about future missions and you looked down, not really interested. You began to wonder why you weren't dead yet.

'I should've stayed in that fire.' You thought, thinking about the memory. A tear slid down your cheek.

"Are you okay, (Y/n)?" You heard Anakin ask.

You looked over and saw that Ahsoka and Anakin were staring at you with a worried expression.

"Oh, me? I'm fine, just tired is all. I'll be on the roof, okay?" You responded.

You quickly walked in the direction of the door to the roof, not looking back.

I hurt much more
Than anytime before
I had no options left again

You opened the door and walked up the steps leading to the roof. A few more tears slid down your face as you hugged yourself. Soon enough, you arrived at the roof and the door closed behind you. You took a breath of fresh air and walked towards the edge of the roof. You peered over the edge and saw that is so far down, it was the perfect height.

Fives and Echo were in the mess hall talking about random stuff. Anakin and Ahsoka walked in and Fives took notice.

"Hello, Generals. What brings you here?" He asked.

"Have you been noticing anything off with (Y/n) lately?" Ahsoka asked.

"Not that I know of, no."

"I have." Echo spoke up.

The three looked over at him with a intrigued expression.

He continued, "Whenever I would ask if she wants to hang out with me and Fives, she would say that she has some place to be."

"Do you know when this started?" asked Anakin.

"About a few weeks ago, but I didn't take notice until the next week."

"Is there something wrong? Is she okay?" Fives asked, growing worried.

"She went to the roof after we asked her if she was okay, though I don't know why." said Ahsoka.

Fives almost freaked out but calmed down and stood up.

"We're going to see if she's doing okay, let's go, Echo." He said, walking to the door.

"Right behind you." Echo said, following him.

I don't know what's worth fighting for
Or why I have to scream
I don't know why I instigate
And say what I don't mean

The view from the roof was beautifully breathtaking and you had no words to describe it. You thought that is was a shame that this would be the last time to look at it. Tears spilled out as you kept thinking about how much pain you would cause to your best friends. You wish that weren't diagnosed so you could hang out with them like you used to. You wish you could just end the suffering all together. And that was exactly what you were going to do.

I don't know how I got this way
I'll never be alright
So I'm breaking the habit
I'm breaking the habit, tonight

Fives and Echo rushed up the stairs to the roof.

You didn't even step one foot off when two muscular arms wrapped around your torso and quickly pulled you away from the edge. You began struggling to get out of this persons grip, not giving a damn about who it was. You feared the worst on who it was and it came true.

"(Y/n), w-why?" He said.

You began to cry as you heard that voice and stopped struggling. You looked over, eyes full of regret and guilt, and saw Echo standing a few feet away from you, trembling. He was on the brink of tears when he saw what you were about to do. The arms around you kept ahold of you so you wouldn't try anything. Your facade finally broke and you let out loud sobs as tears fell like waterfalls.

"I don't know what's worth fighting for, or why I have to scream. And now I have some clarity to show you what I mean. I don't know how I got this way, I'll never be alright. So I'm breaking the habit, I'm breaking the habit, I'm breaking the habit, tonight." You said, almost yelling.

You fell limp in Fives' arms as you covered your teary face with your hands. You didn't have the courage to look up and see the hurt in their eyes.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Fives asked worriedly.

"I d-didn't want you t-to worry about me." You mumbled.

"(Y/n), we'll always worry about you. You're the best thing that happened to us."

This time, you did look up and stared into Fives' eyes, seeing that he was telling the truth. Echo walked over and hugged the both of you, forming a group hug. Your tears slowly came to a stop as your sobbing died down.

"From now on, you need to tell us if you're ever feeling upset." Echo declared.

"O-Okay." You laughed lightly.

The two clones smiled as they heard your laugh after years of not hearing it. You looked up again with a sincere smile, not a fake one you always did.

"Let's get you something to eat, yeah?" Fives asked.

You nodded as they helped you stand up and walked towards the door to get into the building. You felt a lot better after that day.

"I'm home!" You exclaimed as you walked through your apartment door.

The war had ended and the Republic won against the Separatists. The Jedi Council was smart enough to figure out that everything was Chancellor Palpatine's doing. He got put away in jail for his actions and everyone was able to relax. Clones were accepted into society as they were seen as human beings and not droids. Anakin finally got his title of Jedi Master and Padmé gave birth to twins. He suggested that you should babysit his kids sometime.

You smiled as you heard two sets of feet rush towards the door. You put up your coat and hung your keys before opening your arms. Your two favorite people came rushing to you and they stopped to hug you.

"(Y/n), we missed you!" Echo exclaimed, burying his face in your neck.

"Yeah, it's boring here without you!" Fives piped up, hugging you from behind.

You smiled wider, if possible, at their childish behavior but you loved them for it. After a few minutes, the small group hug stopped and you took off your shoes. You glanced at your now two boyfriends happily and thanked the Maker that they existed.

'Out of all of the clones, it had to be you two.' You thought. "You guys hungry? I'll cook tonight."

They nodded their heads rapidly and you walked to the kitchen. They sat a table that was near the living room as you thought of what to cook. After a few minutes, you decided to make some classic spaghetti.

>After cooking<
(I'm lazy)

You filled the last plate with spaghetti and walked to the table with three full plates. You set each of them down with their corresponding person and you sat down. Fives and Echo dug in as soon as you sat down, savoring the buttery noodles.

"Mmm, this is delicious!" exclaimed Fives.

"Mm hm." Echo hummed, agreeing.

"I'm glad you enjoy it." You said and took a bite of noodles.

Soon enough, you three finished eating and you stood up to collect the plates and forks.

"I'll put them in the sink, you two wait for me in the living room." Echo said.

"Thanks, Echo." You said.

He nodded his head in understanding and he collected the dishes. You and Fives went to the living room to wait for Echo. Fives sat on the couch first and he pulled you onto his lap. You squealed at the sudden action but laughed, nonetheless. Fives gently forced you to look at him as he smiled. You returned the smile with gleaming eyes. He leaned forward and pressed his lips against yours. You quickly kissed back and sighed in content.

"Don't I get a kiss?" a familiar voice interrupts.

You pulled away and looked over to see Echo with a pouty look on his face. You turned a bit and held up your hands to make a grabby motion. He complied and walked over to you two, sitting down. You gently took his face in your hands and gave him a kiss. He put a hand on the back of your neck to deepen the kiss. A minute passed and Echo pulled back as you caught your breath. You two smiled at each other before Fives yanked you back against him.

"Hey, don't hog her!" He exclaimed.

"What are you talking about, you're the one holding her!" Echo nearly yelled.

"Alright, calm down, you two. There's plenty of me to go around." You said.

"Heh, you're right, sorry."

"That's better, how about we watch a movie?"

"Sure, can I pick?"

"Yes you can, Echo."

Echo stood up and walked towards the entertainment stand to find a movie to watch. While he was doing that, Fives was being adorable and nuzzled his head in your neck. Sure, these two could be quite the handful but you wouldn't have it any other way.

Yay, a happy ending! While I was writing this, my mind said, "screw the love triangle, polyamory came instead" and I was like, "yess" so that's that.

I hope you enjoyed and have a good day/afternoon/evening/night! :)
