Life can be a joy it can be a pain, but if you play your cards right and stick to your goals it will be okay. At least it should be.

"Okay, wait," I said stopping dead in my tracks.

"What's wrong?" Damien asked me.

"It's not dry anymore. It's like it was when I came here," I said surprised.

"Oh, yeah I changed it back to the time we need to be in. I did that so you go talk to time and now we're back."

"I must of been so caught up in things that I forget about the whole changing of time thing," I nervously laughed.

"I was wondering why you weren't saying anything about it," he laughed. "Okay now we need to find a clone and have it lead us to the main headquarters."

I looked around. "Where the heck are they? Like shouldn't there be a whole army trying to capture is right now?

"They like to sneak up on you and take you down that way," he informed me.

"Oh," I looked down at the ground. "Well, where do you usually see them? I asked him now looking at him.

"By water sources mostly. People nowadays will camp out by water, but that's usually when the worst happens and they get captured. There's a water source up here in around a mile, or two" he explained to me.

"Let's go what are we waiting for?" I started to run forward. Damien ran ahead of me so he could lead us to the water.

After about eight Minutes of endless running they finally see the water source. It's a big pond with the water being surprisingly more clean than you'd think. Sun light glowing on the water showing the deep water with mysteries buried underneath. Probably never being undiscovered and being ignored till am is no more and time dies, then existence will be no more. Only if Lucy fails that is.

"Alright so here we are," Damien says quickly as he puts his hands on the back of his head from running so much.

"Do we just wait?" I ask him a little tired myself too.

"Pretty much, kiddo."

"Awesome," I say as I sit on the grass. Taking Brave out of my bag I sit him next to me. "So what do you-" I cut off suddenly because Damien is not next to me anymore. I immediately stand up and look around like a crazy person he's nowhere.

"Damien, Damien! Fucking answer me! Where are you?!" I scream at the top of my lungs. "Did he get captured, or," I run suddenly with Brae of course following me. I run to the nearest sort of hill and look, I see it. Two clones taking Damien away as he seems to be unconscious. I run as fast as I can. Suddenly the clones turn around and let go of Damien. His body goes limp to the ground almost like he was dead, but he couldn't be could he?! Brave notices it and gives the loudest fucking roar I have ever heard. I press my hands up to my ears and close my eyes waiting for him to stop. I open my eyes to see the two cloned torn to pieces. Blood and guts everywhere it was a mess. Then there was Brave covered in somehow looking like an incident kitten.

I run over to Damien and kneel on the ground to him. "Damien wake up!" I yell noticing more and more that he is not moving. I slap him so hard my hands hurts like hell. Nothing happens not even blood goes to it. He's as pale as snow and I realize he's dead. "No, no, no, no!" I scream tears running down my face hitting his chest. "What happened to you? Why wasn't I here to save you? You were right next to me not even five minutes ago! How could I let this happen!" I lay my head in his chest sobbing harder as each second goes on. I feel the heat slowly going away from his body and hurts me more and more. After a few minutes I cry a bit softer and get up now knowing what I have to do.

This future has it good moments and bad moments. It's always the most kind hearted people that are removed in my life. At this point I see that if I don't do something fast more people I love will die and will be because of me. For I am the so called "hero" to this whole existence. Giving my time and power to both an unknown and familiar amount of futures. I have Brave help me dig a hole to bury Damien in and we finally fill the hole up with dirt and stare at it.

"I didn't know Damien long, but he was a good man. A good friend. A hero to this long away future I'll never truly understand and I will never forget him. Sometimes I wonder why people have to be punished because of what I am. Of what I'm suppose to do, but I promise you my dear friend I will fix this. All of it, I swear. Sweet dreams my friend we'll always remember you. Don't forget about me either," I fall to ground and start to cry. Brave comes over to me and cuddles next me aware of what's happening. I remember the fact that I've Only known him for day, but it seemed like I've known him my whole life. There's now a big hole in my heart and don't know if I can fix it. "Good bye friend, I love you," that's the thing I at before I fall asleep next to the buried body of Damien with tears still streaming down my face.
