I had to do something, or everything I've been working towards my whole life will be for nothing. They were all counting on me, and I ran away without thinking about the risks that could lead. Now they're gone lost in time till can go back, but how can I even go back when I don't know what to save here? Time was a bitch and will always love to mess me up. It seems all I really have is time.

I decided to leave the hideout to try not to hurt myself even more. How fast everything happened showed me that time as no breaks. It can screw me over every two minutes if it wanted to, but it doesn't. This screwed up future gets worse as the years go on and me saving a farther future, then I'll ever live to is pretty pointless.

"How can I do this when I don't even know what to save," I worried to myself, then saw multiple creatures in the distance. "Crap" this was nothing like the twenty third century. It didn't matter where I went there was always some weird monstrosity in range. They saw me and started to walk towards me "of course" I say as I walk towards them.

"Hey you!" I hear a mans voice. "Come towards me quick!"

I ran in the direction the voice was coming from and surely enough there he was. Wearing a blue vest, gloves with the fingers cut off, wore out jeans, and a weird type of gun in his hand. He doesn't say anything he just nods me to get down and he shoots down the creatures without a sound.

"Who are you?" I ask in a quiet voice to make sure no more of those things were around us.

"Well miss my name is Quin," Quin smiled at me. Even though I just met this guy he seemed to be a very nice and good to be around guy.

"Nice to meet you Quin I'm Lacy," I tell him as he looks around quickly, then puts his gun away.

"Names are down great!" Quin grinned and his expression, then changed. "What were you doing out there all alone Lac?"

"It's a long story to be completely honest with you"

"Well long stories are my thing. How bout we go somewhere safe first okay?" He put his hand out so he could help me get up. I accepted it.

"Sure and thanks"

"No problem" He looked at me as we walking and said "I don't mean to sound stalkerish, but I saw you running from up there" He pointed towards the way the hole was. "Then you went into this abandoned building. Were you running around from someone?"

"No, no nothing like that. I mean sure from the creatures, but more like I was running away from time."

"Time?" His eye brow went up. "Like time travel?"

I was shocked, for such little information I gave him about this it seems like he figures it all out. Expect the deaths of my friends and me being the answer, but that's for a different time.

"Yeah actually yes how'd you know" I asked him as we passed through a hard to get through hard.

He passes through the tight space before he answered. "Well I've been working with it trying to go back and stop this horrible future from even happening" He Explained to me.

"Are there many people like you?"I questioned.

"What do you mean?"

"Well with trying to go back and fix this all"

"No, I don't think because there's practically nobody left anymore, but you know that already"

"I don't actually" I truthfully tell him.

"Wait how don't you?" He commented.

She thought about this for a moment. Telling him that she was from the past and the whole reason she was here was because she fell in a magical hole.

"You see I'm from the past. I fell in this hole and as I fell I saw colors, then boom I was here. I went back to that abandoned building you saw to go back to my friends, but they were already long gone," I hesitated for a second. "The only way I can get back is to save this future because "I'm the key to saving humanity" apparently."

His eyes got a little wide, but he didn't really seem to surprised by it. Not answering for a while I assumed he thought I was crazy, then I realized he was letting a creature pass by.

"Sorry just had to be quiet for a sec cuz of that dang creature, but I believe you 100% I don't know why I do I mean it's not that crazy. This world can be complete chaos to peace just back again. I've seen so many things and I know people in this time would never lie like that." He firmly boomed. "Sorry for your situation though I'll try to help you as much as I can" He added.

"Thanks that means a lot" I smiled at him

He gave me one in return and he lead me farther up this path that was hidden by a bush. We headed upwards straight and went downhill a bit. There stood a big mountain seeming normal to its looks at least. I amused that because he stopped for a second and seemed like he was retrieving a memory for something.

Quin his hand on the mountain and said "3737837383543" after that the mountain opened up.

"Whoa what's cool," I marveled at the it.

"I know right! It's where me and friends live and hide from those creatures of course." He told me as he walked indeed and I followed, then the opening slowly closed.

It was pitch dark.

"Code 02836 turn on lights" Quin echoed as a hallway of lights appeared and now could see everything. "Well welcome to our little place"
