Chapter 7: Oh, What a Bloody Sleepover It Is

"Katsu!" I hugged him as soon as he opened his front door, "Guess what?! GUESS WHAT?!" He groaned before he pulled me inside.

"Did you seriously walk over to my house?" He put his hand onto the bridge of his nose before sighing, "It's fucking 23:00, Glitchy."

"How could I not?!" I giggled, grabbing his hand away from him, "I got in! I fucking got it!" Katsu's eyes widen, shock written all over his face as I waved my letter in front of him.

"Give me that!" He ripped the letter from my hand and started reading the paper from inside, "WHAT THE FUCK?!" I saw that his hands began to glow, so I took the paper from his hands before he could turn it into ashes.

"Don't turn my things into ash!"

"SO YOU'RE THE ONE WHO GOT FIRST?!" Katsu yelled, looking very pissed, "THAT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME!"

"Calm your tits Katsu," I smiled, poking him in the chest, "I know you did well, so show me!" I jumped up and down in place, energy coursing through my veins like adrenaline.

"Here!" He shoved his letter in my hands, making me open it.

He got second place with only 77 villain points! No rescue points, huh? I'm not surprised.

"Oh my gosh, Katsuki!" I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him into a hug again, "We got first and second!"

"Yeah, yeah. Now let go of me!" He pushed me off of him, putting his hands on my shoulders, "And calm down! My parents are trying to go to sleep!"

"KATSUKI?! WHO'S THERE?!"

Oops.

"It's me, Mitsuki!" I saw her walk down the stairs wearing a robe around her, "Sorry! I got excited and ran over here as soon as I saw my results."

"Oh, (Y/N)!" She ran over to me, pushing Katsu out of the way before hugging me, "It's been forever since I last saw you! How have you been? Katsuki told me that you were in quite a lot of pain after the exam."

"OLD HAG! DON'T YOU PUSH ME-"

"I'm better now." I smiled, "I came over here to show you guys my results!" I pulled away from Mitsuki before handing her my letter. She opened it and began to read it, her eyes starting to tear up.

"Mitsuki?"

"OH! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!" My body was jerked towards her again, her arms wrapping around me, "MY LITTLE GIRL IS GROWING UP!"

"SHE'S NOT YOUR FUCKING DAUGHTER!"

"SHE MIGHT AS WELL BE!" Mitsuki turned her head over towards her son, "(Y/N) IS THE ONLY ONE OUT OF THE TWO OF YOU WHO GIVES ME GODDAMN RESPECT! MAYBE YOU CAN LEARN A THING OR TWO FROM HER!"

"I DON'T HAVE TO LEARN SHIT FROM HER!" Katsu crossed his arms around his chest, "I ALREADY KNOW THAT I'M THE BEST!"

"WITH THAT ATTITUDE, YOU'RE NOT!"

"Guys, calm down." I moved between them, trying to stop the argument, "It's late."

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO-" I hit him on the back of his head, "HEY WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR?!"

"You're right. Are you planning on spending the night (Y/N)?" My eyes widen before looking over to Mitsuki, "It's late, and I rather not have you walk around at this time."

"I-It's only a fifteen-minute walk-"

"Nonsense, I insist." She smiled, clasping her hands together, "It's the weekend anyway. I'll call Amaya while you get settled in!" Mitsuki walked away, probably looking for her phone.

"LOOK AT WHAT YOU JUST DID!" I jumped before looking at Katsu carefully.

"I-I didn't do anything," raising my hands in the air, I closed my eyes, "Besides coming to your house..."

"You're a pain in my ass..." I felt someone take hold of my arm, dragging me in a particular direction.

"Where are we going?"

"My room, idiot," I opened my eyes, seeing that we were about to walk up the stairs.

"W-Why?!"

"So you can change? What else do you fucking think?!" We walked up the stairs before walking into Katsu's room, "Sit!" I plopped down on the floor, not wanting any more trouble.

"Sorry-"

"On the fucking bed, idiot!" Then, getting up off the floor, I sat on his bed, "Now stay there while I get an extra set of clothes!"

What's up with him?

I sighed before looking down at my hands. Maybe I should have waited until the morning to come here. Now, Katsu has to deal with me spending the night at his house.

Wait? Where in the fuck am I supposed to sleep?

"Hey, Katsu? Where am I supposed to- hmpf" I was cut off with something being thrown on my face? Putting my hand to it, I lowered it down. It was a black t-shirt with gray shorts.

"Now, get changed!" He turned around, staring at the wall in front of him, "Make it quick because I'm tired." Not wasting any time, I took off the clothes that I was currently wearing into Katsu's ones. Not going to lie, but these clothes were super comfy. Sure, the shirt and the shorts were oversized on me, but I didn't care.

"Done," I mumbled, feeling dust of pink flood my face. I don't know why I was suddenly blushing, but I hoped he didn't see it.

"Good." Katsu walked over to his desk before shutting off the light. It was dark with now only the moon shining in. His outline shown through, a blue hue taking up his features. Katsu looked peaceful, his face softens by the moonlight, and his body relaxed. If I didn't know any better, he would seem like any regular guy without anger issues.

"Katsu? Where am I sleeping?" I asked, fumbling with the shirt I have on now. His eyes trailed up my body, seeing the clothes I was wearing and how they fit me.

"My bed," He went to the closet, grabbing out something before walking over to me, "Lay your ass down so I can put this on the ground." Doing what he said, I sat down, putting my feet on top of the bed as well.

"Y-You don't have to sleep on the ground." I stuttered, trying not to look at him, "I-I can do it so you can sleep on your bed."

"Shut up and go to sleep,"

"But-" I felt two fingers on my chin before my face was forced to meet his. Katsu stared at me in annoyance, his red eyes piercing into my own. At that moment, I forgot how to breathe. I don't know if it was his angry expression or if it was the way on how the moon shined on his body. His face was so close to mine so that I couldn't help but blush.

"Move over," Katsu let go of my face and stood up, now overtowering me, "I'm tired, and I don't want to play any games. So move your ass over to the other side of the bed so I can go to sleep." Without a single word, I did what he said, moving over closer to the wall.

He ripped open his blankets before sliding into the bed, making the bed dip from his weight. Katsu laid on his back, with his arms crossed behind his head as he stared at the ceiling. I laid down as well, laying on my side as I faced the wall.

"Are you not going to get under the blankets?" Katsu broke the silence after a couple of minutes of nothing, his voice barely above a whisper.

"You're okay with that?" I asked, turning around to now facing him, "It wouldn't feel uncomfortable?"

"If you keep asking questions like that, I'm going to start to." Pulling the blankets over my body, I felt how warm it was. It must have been because of Katsu's body heat, but I'm not going to complain.

"Goodnight," Deciding to be bold, I laid my head down on his chest- hearing his heart rate increase from the physical touch. He paused, not knowing what to do until I felt him shift under me. Katsu pulled his arm from underneath his head and wrapped it around my waist. I snuggled closer, feeling our legs touch.

"Goodnight to you too, (Y/N)."

~*~ Time Skip 10:00 ~*~

I felt myself waking up, but at this point, I didn't want to. Whatever I was snuggling with was very comfortable, and I didn't want to move. Knowing that it was morning didn't help me either since the room I was in was bright. Sun rays danced before my eyelids, making me groan out of annoyance. Not now; I want to sleep a little longer.

"Are you awake?" I heard a deep rough voice say next to me, indicating that he probably just woke up too.

"Shut up~" Groaning, I shifted my head so the sun wouldn't get to me as much, "No, I'm asleep, so leave me the fuck alone."

"You're not a morning person, are you Glitchy?" He said again, feeling something shake underneath me as he laughed, "I wouldn't have guessed that for you."

"Didn't I tell you to shut the fuck up?" Then, taking in a deep breath of air, I smelt the scent of caramel, "You smell good."

"You're weird,"

"You're fucking annoying."

"Only an annoying person says that to other people,"

"Go fuck yourself," I turned over to the other side, just wanting to fall back asleep, "And fucking die."

"You first."

"Good," I yawned, snuggling into the pillow more, "I can sleep for eternity now."

"You're such a problem child,"

"I know, but I'm not the one with a problem here," I felt my mouth curl into a smirk, "Says the one who is having issues with morning wood."

"AM NOT!" I felt the bed raise, knowing that Katsu got up in a hurry, "WHY DON'T YOU MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS?!" Then, hearing footsteps walk away from me, I turned around, opening my eyes to see Katsu walking towards his door.

"Where are you going?"

"TO THE BATHROOM!" He yelled, throwing open the door, "I NEED TO TAKE A PISS!"

"Have fun~" The door slammed shut, making me chuckle a little bit. Messing with Katsu in the morning is fun, even more, amusing when he just woke up. I closed my eyes, feeling a smile spread across my features. Maybe taking a quick cat nap will do me good.

That didn't last long until I heard the door slamming open. It must have been ten minutes later, but who was counting?

"Get the fuck up!" I groaned, turning over, pulling the blankets over my head, "I SAID-"

"I HEARD WHAT YOU FUCKING SAID!" I yelled, sadly, being muffled by the material over me, "LEAVE ME ALONE!" I heard a growl before I felt the blankets being ripped off of me. The air was cold, making me curl up into a ball.

"NOW!" I was starting to get pissed off because it was the weekend, and I didn't want to be awake, "I swear to god, (Y/N). If you don't wake up, you will regret it." I didn't say anything, feeling the bed dip with now extra weight being placed onto it. Finally, after a couple of seconds of nothing, I opened my eyes.

"What are you- AHHH!"  Katsu started tickling me, making me start laughing. I squirmed from underneath him, trying to escape his torment. None of it was working since I have just gotten up, and I was still a little sleepy.

"Are you going to get up now?" I felt his hands around my bare waist due to my shirt rising from friction. His eyes narrowed with a smirk plastered on his face as he stared down at me. I must have been a mess.

My face felt hot, probably due to the lack of oxygen going to my brain. Not to mention my hair which was now wild since I was squirming so much. I took deep breaths, hearing my heartbeat ring against my eardrums. My chest was heaving up and down with only some of my shirt covering my chest. If I weren't in this position, I would have yelled at him for being a perv, but that wasn't on my mind right now.

The image of Katsu hovering over me played in my vision. Sweat was falling from his face due to the amount of force that he had to put on me so I wouldn't move. To run away from his torment of tickling. He was enjoying this, being in control. I wonder if-

I shook my head, trying to stop the dirty thoughts from filling my brain. However, it looked like Katsu thought differently.

Feeling his hands move again, I started to laugh. I grabbed his wrists, trying to pull them off of me. Sadly, that backfired when I felt my hands being pinned over my head. Only using one hand, as the other pinned my two wrists, he started up again. I squirmed as I felt tears rise to my eyes due to the laughing.

"St-Stop!" I finally laughed out, gasping from the lack of oxygen in my lungs, "P-Please stop! You win! You w-win!" Feeling his hand stop tickling my side, I gasped. Trying to get enough oxygen into my body as possible. However, my hands were still pinned above my head by his hand, and the other one was hovering above my bare waist.

"Are you going to be a good girl now?" I froze, feeling my body become numb. Something about the phrasing of those words set me off, but I have no idea how. It feels like I forgot something right now, but this isn't the time to dwell on that. Slowly, I nodded my head. He smirked before releasing me, making me relax.

I sat up quickly, but that didn't work. I felt my head connect to something hard, making me close my eyes in pain. Putting my hand to my forehead, I groaned before I heard another one. This one low, but it sounded more like a growl. Opening my eyes carefully, I saw Katsu holding onto his nose.

"I-I'M SO SORRY!" I yelped, getting onto my knees to meet eye-to-eye with him, "Let me take a look!" Then, taking his hand into mine, I carefully pulled his hand away from his nose.

"WHAT THE FUCK, GLITCHY?!" My eyes widen before getting off the bed in a panic.

This isn't good! This is SO bad!

"MOM!" I yelled, running out of the room, "I THINK I BROKE KATSU'S NOSE!"

"WHAT?!" Running down the stairs, I ran into the kitchen. Mitsuki stared at me wide-eyed, trying to process what I just said.

"Where's the icepack?!" She pointed to the freezer door. I run over to the fridge, flinging open the door before I saw where the icepack is.

"Here," Mitsuki handed me a rag before she raised her eyebrow, "How-?"

"No time to explain!" I grabbed the icepack and ran up the stairs, back into Katsu's room. He was still sitting on his bed, pinching his nose with his hand while he had his head thrown upwards.

"Took you long enough," He said in annoyance, keeping his eyes closed shut. Blood was smeared under his nose and onto his hand- indicating that he must have wiped his nose with his hand.

"I-I'm so sorry!" I wrapped the rag around the icepack before moving his hand away from his nose, "Hold this!" Katsu took it, placing it onto his nose. He winced, probably due to how cold the icepack was.

I ran out of the room again into the bathroom. Grabbing onto some tissues and toilet paper, I went over to the sink. I turning on the faucet, I wet the toilet paper before going back into Katsu's room.

Sitting down, I placed the wet toilet paper on the bloodied parts and began to clean it. I started with his hand before going over to under his nose. At this point, there was a lot of blood that dripped from his nose. It was to the point that the blood was reaching down his lips. Frowning, I wiped the leftover blood from his face before putting the clean tissues into his free hand.

"What the fuck is that?"

"It is tissues, so put them into your nose." He put the icepack down before doing what I said. Not wanting to see that, I got up to throw away the bloodied toilet paper.

What's going to happen to me now? Am I going to be murdered today? Will I be able to live after what I have just done? Oh man, this is so~ bad...

I tried to think of something else as my eyes wandered over to his desk. Katsu's desk was tidy except for the pile of loose paper messily placed on the side. Me being curious, I walked over to it. The pieces of paper were crumpled, but thankfully it wasn't too damaged. Taking one of the sheets of paper, I examined it.

It was an old letter, indicating that the paper was turning yellow, with the handwriting of what looks like a four-year-old. The writing was tough to read due to the smudges, misspellings, and a couple of burns on the paper. From what I could tell, it was a goodbye letter from a very long time ago. Whoever this person was, had a significant effect on Katsu since I guess the burnt parts were from him. I wonder why he never threw it away...

"Hey, Katsu-" I paused when I turned around, seeing that he was standing behind me. His eyes were soft as he looked at the old piece of paper. Like he was trying to remember the time he was handed the letter.

"It was from someone that I knew when I was a kid. That letter was from them the day that they left. Telling me to open it as soon as I got home. By the time I did, it was too late- they already left."

"Who was it?" I questioned cautiously. I know that Katsu doesn't like talking about things that upset him. Surprising that he didn't blow up at me when I grabbed the paper.

"A girl, but I don't remember what she looked like, or her name is." Katsu took the piece of paper into his hands, "This is all that I have left of her..."

"This girl must have meant a lot to you..."

"Yeah, she was younger than Deku and I, but the three of us were friends." I tilt my head to the side.

"Is she the reason why you and Zuku don't get along?" Katsu visibly sucked in a breath, his body being frozen by the question.

"After she left, things between Deku and I changed. So, I guess yes to a point."

"Does Zuku have one?"

"I don't know nor care," He said annoyingly, placing the piece of paper back on his desk, "Let's go downstairs. The old hag is probably waiting for us for lunch." I nodded before walking out of the room with him.

"You know you shouldn't call your mom that," I nudged him, "I'm surprised that she deals with your bullshit language on the daily."

"Are you trying to piss me off, Glitchy?" Katsu growled, squeezing the icepack in his hand, "I'll call her anything I want."

"So I can too?" I forced down a smirk, trying to keep myself collected.

"Whatever." We stepped off of the stairs onto the ground floor. The smell of goodness filled the air, making me realize that I was hungry. I walked into the kitchen, seeing Mitsuki at the stove stirring something.

"You guys finally-" She turned around, her eyes wide when she stared at her son, "WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?!"

"I headbutted him in the nose," I chuckled nervously, placing a hand on my neck, "That's why I ran downstairs for an icepack."

"Makes sense..." She turned around, stirring the food in the pan, "Lunch will be ready in five minutes, so why don't you two set up the table?" I nodded before looking over at Katsu.

His face was twisted into a scowl from annoyance, or it's just his natural face. Honestly, I don't know, but this isn't the time to pick a fight with him. Katsu looked at me, his eyes studying me before his face softens- just by a little bit. He walks over towards the cabinets before forcing them open.

"Here!" I put out my hands, feeling weight drop down onto them, "Since your useless anyway, I'll grab everything, and you place them on the table."

"Okay,"

Five minutes fly past since then, and now we are eating. It was just Katsu and me since Mitsuki had a couple of errands to run and Masaru was out of the house. So it was the two of us, alone in his place. It was weird being alone with him for so long, but I'm glad that I had the chance to. But, of course, everything is going to change when we both start high school. The both of us are going to be busy doing homework and hero class stuff.

On a different note, I thought of something or rather someone else.

Should I call Zuku and see what his results were? Last night, I planned on stopping by Katsu's house before Zuku's since his house was closer. But that didn't end up happening.

"Hey, Katsu?" I place my chopsticks down onto my now empty bowl, "I'm going to head out soon to catch up with Zuku. Do you want to come along?" Feeling the room become dense, I sweatdropped.

"Hell no." He got up, taking his bowl and chopsticks in hand before walking over to the kitchen, "Why should I hang out with that loser?" I got up, too, doing the same thing.

"Cause why not?" I remarked, now standing next to the angered boy, "You two are childhood friends, so why not see if he got in. Besides, do you want to be here alone?"

"Fuck off," Katsu turned on the faucet, the sound of running water filling the room, "What's the point of going when I already know that he didn't? He's just some quirkless nerd that would only get into the general education course if he was lucky."

"I wouldn't be too sure about that." I giggled, bumping my hip onto his making him stagger to the side a bit, "Besides, maybe he is a late bloomer or just that good without a quirk. On the other hand, you do inspire him to do better, so maybe one day both of you guys will be on the same level."

"In his dreams," Katu growled, bumping my hip with his with more force, "Like hell am I going to let Deku get the better of me!"

"I know," I smiled, watching him clean his dish, "The same would go for Zuku. You two are similar in some ways, pushing yourselves to be better. I look up to that since I rarely have to or so people think." He paused before turning his face towards me.

"You still have ways to go before your better than me," Katsu smirked, "Just because you have a quirk that can stop time doesn't mean that someone can take it away from you. You still have to be able to defend yourself and fight off villains when you can't use it."

"Even if someone is capable of taking my quirk away, I wouldn't live long to see it." I replied, thinking about the books that my father wrote, "If what my dad said is true, if my quirk gets erased, my own time would crumple."

"Huh?"

"I don't want to get into details since it probably won't happen," I smiled, bumping my hip into his, "It would take a lot to take away my type of quirk, so don't worry about it, pretty boy. I'm not going to leave anywhere soon, so you're stuck with me."

"Great." Katsu rolled his eyes before continuing to wash his dish, "I'm stuck with you, aren't I?"

"Yep!" I lifted my pointer figure and poked his cheek, "So suck it up, Buttercup!"

~ Time Skip 16:00 ~

I ended up staying over at Katsu's house longer than expected. Honestly, I didn't want to leave him there alone, so we waited until one of his parents returned. At least he didn't throw a fit with me seeing Zuku when I mentioned the green-haired boy. I wish I knew what Katsu has against Zuku for treating him like shit. But I knew better to push things with him since all it would do would lead to an argument.

Walking up the stairs, I headed over to the door to the Midoryia's apartment. Taking a deep breath, I knocked on the door. I know that I shouldn't feel nervous, but I am. Maybe it is because I'm worried about how Zuku's results were. But this isn't the time to dwell on that.

I heard footsteps coming to the door, making me stop my thinking. The door opened, revealing an older woman known as Mrs. Midoryia.

"Oh, (Y/N)!" She greeted, pushing the door wider, "Come in! Come in!" I did what I was told, walking into the hallway before shutting the door behind me.

"Good afternoon! Is Zuku here?" I slipped off my shoes, still looking at the woman, "I want to see how he is doing and what his results are."

"He should be in his room," Zuku's mom smiled, "I'm sure he will be glad to see you."

"I'm not sure about that," I joked, "I was going to stop by last night, but Mitsuki made me stay the night. Saying that I shouldn't be out past dark." Mrs. Midoryia giggled at my comment.

"She is a mother, after all. Both she and I decided to adopt you into our households after meeting you."

"You know that I already have a home, right?" I raised an eyebrow, wondering when this conversation took place, "Remember, Amaya?"

"We know very well, but we just thought that have an extra two homes to come back to wouldn't hurt."

"No wonder Mitsuki called me her daughter last night," I laughed, making her laugh as well.

"Yep, that also includes me, sweetie!"

"So can I call you mom then?" I joked, feeling tears rise to my eyes from laughing.

"Yes, or you can call me Inko."

"Okay!" Running up to her, I hug her, "Thanks, mom! I'm going to go bother Zuku now!" I let go of her before making my way over to his room.

Opening his door, I saw the broccoli boy lying on his bed with his phone up to his face. He didn't move a muscle, meaning that he probably didn't hear me opening his door due to having earbuds in. So, deciding to scare him, I jumped onto his bed and landed on top of him.

"ACKK-!" Zuku yelled out from under me before looking tilting his head down towards me, "(Y-Y/N)?"

"I AM HERE!" I giggled out, placing my chin onto his chest as I kept looking into his green doe eyes, "I wanted to surprise you!"

"W-Well, you did," He laughed, "Gave me a heart attack when you landed on me."

"Well, you didn't because you're still here with me." I smiled before sitting up, now be straddling his torso, "Anyway, I'm here to see your result and to spend time with you!"

"Well..." Zuku turned his head away from me, trying to hide his blush, "The letter is on my desk if you want to see it." Then, without hesitation, I got off of him and rushed over to his desk. As he said, there laid a letter, a one similar to mine that I got from UA.

I grabbed the letter in my hand before taking out the sheet of paper. Honestly, I was nervous to see his result since he had a disadvantage over the rest of the students. Holding the piece of paper close to my face, I read very closely- trying not to miss any typed information. A smile made my way onto my face as I finished.

He got it!

Izuku Midoriya got into UA!

"IZUKU!!" I yelled, turning around so I can see him; now he was sitting upon his bed looking at me nervously, "YOU GOT IN! BITCH YOU GOT IN!" Running over to him, I jumped on top of him again before hugging him.

"Calm down, (Y/N)..." I felt him chuckle against me before wrapping his arms around me.

"HOW CAN I?!" Pulling myself away a little bit, I was now able to see his face, "MY BROCCILLI BOY IS GROWING UP!" Tears threatened to fall, making Zuku smile in amusement.

"Last time I remember, you're younger than me," He chuckled again, closing his eyes in a smile, "Don't cry, okay. You're going to make me cry if you do."

"Now I want to..." I pouted, forcing my bottom lip to puff out. Zuku's grip around my waist tightened before his green doe eyes started tearing up as well.

"(Y-Y/N)..." He pulled me in closer, placing his head at the crook of my neck, "How can I ever t-thank you?" Tightening my grip around his neck, I put my head on top of his.

"There is no need for that," I felt his body shake, but I continued, "You already did by trying you're hardest at the exam. I bet the training with All Might was hard, and getting your quirk must be different."

"I still have no idea how you know about that..." He mumbled so softly that I could barely hear him, "Is it a part of your quirk?"

"Yeah, I can see everyone's time clicking downwards."

"Wait a minute?!" Zuku pushes himself off of me and runs over to his desk, "Where is it?!"

After a couple of minutes of searching, he pulls out a notebook. The very one that I restored over half a year ago. I'm glad that it is still being put to use because doing that took a lot of energy out of me. Zuku walked back over towards me, having the notebook and pen in hand.

From how he went from the state of almost crying to being happy and excited is beyond me. However, I'm not going to question it. I'm just glad that he got himself out of the depressed state.

"You're going to write it down?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. He nodded excitedly, his green eyes sparkling with determination.

"I haven't had time to write down any of your stuff since I have been so busy," Zuku chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand, "I have meant to for a while, but now I can do it!"

"Okay then," I smiled, "Hit me with those questions of yours, Izuku Midoryia!"

Time has passed since Zuku started writing in his quirk analysis journal about me. The whole time he kept mumbling excitedly, talking about possible ways to use my quirk. I couldn't help but tease and smile at him when he did that- it was cute.

The way on how Zuku's green eyes shinned when I answered his questions to the way on how his voice sounded. It was memorizing seeing him get so worked up over something so little. The guy that has been by my side since I moved here. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a friend or even as a lover. If I didn't know better, I was falling for this guy. Though I rather not think of him like that, I know that it would never happen between us.

Actually, I don't plan on falling for anyone- due to my fear of breaking their heart or being left behind. I know that everyone that I am around has a longer lifespan than me. So, it will just be me, myself, and I in this world until my time comes.

"Earth to (Y/N)?!" I blinked, seeing Zuku's hand wave in front of my face, "There you are! It looks like you spaced out there for a second."

"Sorry," I forced a smile on my face, trying to hide the heavy feeling in my body, "What was your question?"

"I asked you about your parents," He looked at me in concern but still replied to my question, "I know it's a touchy subject..."

"It's fine," Sighing, I closed my eyes, "My mother's quirk was object manipulation. So she can do what I just did a while ago with your notebook there." Then, opening my eyes again, I pointed to the object that was in his hands.

"That's so cool!" Zuku paused for a second, trying to remember something, "Isn't your mom (M/N) (L/N)?! The famous art repairer!?" I nodded.

"Yeah..."

"Okay, Okay," He scribbled more information onto the page of the notebook, "Your dad?"

"Time teller," I bluntly replied, "It was the reason why I knew you got your quirk in the first place."

"So, as a result, you were born with time manipulation?" He asked, now looking at me, "It would make sense; usually, children inherit both of the parents' quirk and make a new one based on it."

"I guess," I decided to lay down on his bed, placing my feet onto Zuku's lap, "Just like how a child gets their physical physiques from them?"

"Exactly."

"You know, you could have been a detective with how much effort you put into those books."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you're observant of the things around you and make very detailed notes. Honestly, you could publish them if you wanted to. You could make a lot of money off of them."

"Nah," He placed the notebook and pen beside him before grabbing my feet, "That would give villains the advantage of taking them down. I rather not have that weight be put onto me." His hands start to move, messaging my feet with the right amount of pressure.

"Like the weight of getting All Might's quirk?" He paused, looking at me in bewilderment, "It's not that hard to find out. Besides, All Might's quirk time dropped significantly after you got yours."

"Promise not to tell?"

"It's not my secret to tell," I shrugged, now feeling his hands start up again at my feet, "But I do promise not to say anything. I already did that with the guy himself."

"You did?" His hands went to the other foot, doing the same thing.

"Yeah, the day of the goo villain."

"That's why you put up three fingers that day?"

"Yep," I sat up before poking his cheek, "See, I told you. You could be a detective with that brain of yours. But you decided to be a hero."

"Stop making fun of me," Zuku swatted my hand away, letting me see the blush coming onto his face.

"In your dreams, broccoli boy!"

Hello, my lovely readers! I kept my promise of publishing this chapter right after I published the last one.

Technically, it is Saturday, so I was late on this chapter publishing. Today my family was celebrating my sister's 21st birthday! Just thinking about that makes me feel old, but I'm younger than her, so...

ANYWAY!

Always remember to KEEP READING AND STAY SAFE!
