Chapter 5: The Midoryia Family
It's been seven months since Katsu and I started training for the UA exam. Let me tell you, it was not easy. Every day including weekends, we have been working out together and studying for the finals. My body felt exhausted as each day I overworked myself as much as possible.
Recently, I started working on using my quirk alongside my workout schedule. Since I need to have time, energy, and concentration when using it, I need to keep it activated when doing physical activities. At this point, I stayed up for 24 hours a day before hitting my head on my pillow. I still got eight hours of sleep each night, but man, it's tiring after a while.
Zuku looked even worse than I do. He has black eye bags under his eyes, and sometimes he can't concentrate on school. I haven't been able to hang out with him because both of us are busy, but I miss him. We do talk when we are at school, but Zuku looks out of it. During breaks, he ends up laying his head on my shoulder and falling asleep for a bit.
Is he getting enough sleep?
I sighed, bending down to tie my shoes. Today was the weekend, meaning that I had more time available on my hands. I'm planning on running to the sports store to see if I can get more supplies for the workout room. Last night, I had an idea to buy a punching bag to work on my punches. I've never tried one out before, but I might as well start now.
Grabbing my phone, I walked out of the house to go to the closest shopping district. Thankfully, it wasn't too far because I had to go for my afternoon run. I decided that on weekends that I will start running instead of on the treadmill because why not. I have more time on my hands before Katsu comes over, so I might as well.
"Welcome to the sports shop! What can I help you with today?" A lady walked up to me, her smile looking almost forced. I don't blame her; it's work, after all.
"Hello, so I am looking for workout equipment that I could add to mine at home. Which section would that be?" I questioned, looking around the vast store.
The store is pretty big with multiple selections in it. For example, there was a section for workout clothes in any weather—camping supplies for when people decide to go hiking or swimming. There was so much around the store that I didn't even know where to start.
"Okay, follow me!" The lady said, and I followed.
"Thank you so much for helping me! This store is huge!" Then, I exclaimed, "I don't know where to start."
"First time being here, huh?" She questioned as we weaved through the isles.
"Yeah," I nervously chuckled, putting my hand up to my neck, "I'm planning on going to UA, so I have to start getting ready for it."
"That's awesome to hear that!" We finally got into the section of the workout equipment, "Anything piqued your interest?"
"The punching bag stuff," I answered, looking around, "I don't have one at home, so I thought that I might as well buy one." She smiled before walking away to where the said item was.
There were so many to choose from! It varied from small to big to even toughness, depending on your quirk. So how am I supposed to get this home?
"Here are the punching bags! Any of them interest you?" The lady asked, looking at the sale items, "Though, I would highly recommend getting one with a starter kit."
"I'll like that, my father has gloves, but they are way too big on me," I smiled, looking at a specific one, "How about that one!" I pointed my hand to it as she turned her head over to what I was referring to.
"That one is one of our most sold products. For a beginner, it works out great from what I heard from regulars."
"I'll take that then." She nodded before grabbing out her scanner to scan it.
I was in the store for an hour, looking around to see what else I could get. I got some workout clothes and extra equipment for the workout room, so it was lovely. Thankfully, I didn't have to worry about how much I spend because I know that I have enough. Saving up that money for two years does get you pretty far.
Walking over to the check-out, I place the clothes down on the counter. The same lady that helped me smiled before grabbing out her hand to grab the clothes.
"You still interested in the workout equipment?" She asked, scanning the first set of clothing.
"Yep!"
"I'll put that at the end," After a couple more minutes of beeping later, she finally finished, "Okay, do you want us to ship it to you?"
"That would be amazing because I walked here." I smiled, bringing out my phone.
"Also, with the gym equipment, you can get a year warranty on it. Do you want it?"
"Yes, I would." She smiled again before punching in the numbers.
"The total comes up to 50,000 yen."
Holy crap, I did spend a lot.
"Okay," I put my phone to the card swipe before I heard a ding, "Did it go through?"
"Yes, it did." The receipt started printing, "We have an available time today to drop off the equipment at 18:00. Is that okay?"
"Yep, that is fine." She smiled before handing me the receipt and a clipboard.
"I need you to sign here and to write down your address." I did what I was told and handed her back the clipboard, "Alright, have a great rest of your day! Hope to see you here very soon!"
"Thank you, you as well."
I walked out with two bags before heading home. It was nice being able to spend money on myself. I rarely got to do that, but I'm glad I did. Even if I don't get accepted into UA, I'll still use the equipment because my body is now used to it.
When I got home, I quickly went upstairs to put on one of the sets of clothes. I might as well go for a jog and test these products out. Sliding out of the clothes I have now, I looked over to my torso. There were scars here and there, but it didn't make me self-conscious. If anything, it was a reminder that I can go through anything if I put my heart into it.
I smiled before putting on my new workout clothes.
Don't worry. I cut off the tags already before putting them on. But damn, I look hot.
Just by looking at me, I didn't look like a twelve-year-old girl. I could probably pass as a sixteen-year-old. My chest finally finished developing, and so did the rest of my body. I now had a slim waist that rocked my now-forming abs. Having Katsu help me in training has helped a lot.
I now wore a matching set that consists of a runner's bra, leggings with pockets, and running shoes.
Did I mention that the leggings had pockets?!
"Okay..." I mumbled to myself, pulling out my phone, "It's 10:17, so I should get going for my run." I place my phone into my pocket before grabbing my wireless earbuds off the bed table.
"AMAYA! I'M GOING OUT FOR A RUN!" Shutting the door behind me, I turned on my music and began my jog.
Today, I decided that I didn't want to use my quirk since I wanted to see the color around me because it's been a while. Besides, I wanted to have enough energy for when I get home. For the past couple of days, I have been coming home tired to the point that I was about to collapse. Thankfully, Katsu didn't notice, or he would have bitched me out for overworking myself.
I ran into the park, a place that I usually run through. It pretty seeing all the colors of green instead of black and white. Hearing the birds chirp occasionally made me want to run even more. I didn't think that I would enjoy running in my lifetime, but here I am in a park doing that.
Running down the trail, I saw a familiar bush of green hair lying on the ground. His trainer was also there, who seemed like he was having the time of his life on a motorized scooter. They looked like they were both talking, but only a one-sided conversation. Deciding to go over there, I ran before stopping before them.
"Zuku?" I kneeled, seeing his face that looked towards the ground, "You okay there?"
"(Y-Y/N)?" Zuku finally turned his face to see mine, "I didn't know that you were here?"
"Yeah, I was going for a jog." I grabbed his arm closest to me and lifted him, "You look like shit."
"I was just about to say the same thing." I looked up, seeing the slickly blonde-haired man from earlier.
"All Might, you didn't have to overwork him, ya know?" Both of the boys jumped, surprised that I already figured it out, "It didn't take a genius to figure that one out. You look and almost sound the same way as him. I connected the dots after Katsu, and I interrupted you two."
"Oh..." All Might chuckled, placing a hand on his neck, "I didn't realize that it was obvious."
"Three-time bars remember?" I smiled, "Don't worry, I haven't said anything about it. It's not my place to do so."
"Thank you, young (L/N)." He smiled as well before looking over to Zuku, "Apparently, he hasn't gotten enough sleep. He's been pushing himself to his limit."
"I know," I pulled Zuku's arm around my shoulder, trying to keep him grounded, "I do go to school with him. But, when he's determined, he tends to forget things like that."
"(Y/N)~" Zuku whined, "I can walk on my own."
"Yeah, right!" I scoffed, looking away, "Says the guy who was laying face-first into the ground. Don't even try to say that you were giving the floor a hug and a kiss."
"I have to work harder, or I won't stand a chance against the other applicants." His body started shaking as he put his hands into a fist, "I don't just want to get into UA; I want to excel. I want to be like you!" I knew who he was talking to. It was All Might.
But he wasn't done talking.
"I want to be the greatest hero in the world! So I'll keep on trying. Until I've got what it takes to do that." Zuku turned his head towards me before looking at his trainer, " I want people to see my fearless smile and feel safe. And be just like you!"
Before I was able to react, All Might grew to his heroic size. The transformation was incredible, seeing a sick man into the substantial, brave number one hero. Then, he grabbed Zuku away from me, picking him off the ground a little bit, laughing.
"That fighting spirit's what I like about you, fanboy! It serves you well. I do get your concerns." He let go of him, letting me retake his arm, "That said. Now's not the time to go and rush progress. Fear not! I can get you back on track. Leave it to this old man to adjust your plan!"
"Your not an old man, All Might," Zuku said weakly, making me feel worried about him. All Might laughed before grabbing something on the ground. Honestly, I didn't even realize it when I ran up here.
"Anyways, I think we can cut it short for today. Young (L/N), can you bring young Midoryia back home?"
"Yeah, I'll make sure that he takes a nap."
"Good." He starts walking away before he turned back at me, "Remember, you don't tell anyone about this."
"I have no idea what you're talking about." I smiled before trying to move Zuku, "Come on, let's go take you home."
~*~ Time Skip 11:50 ~*~
I helped Zuku up the stairs to his family's apartment as he was already falling asleep on me. It took longer than I planned to help him get home, but I finally did it. Walking over to the door, he took out his keys and unlocked the door. I have never been to his house besides walking him up to the door. So, this would be the first time that I would be walking in.
"Oh, Izuku, you're home-" An older heavier lady that looked like Zuku came in view, "Oh, dear?! What happened?"
"Hello, Mrs. Midoryia!" I smiled as I kicked off my shoes at the door with Zuku on hand, "I saw him at the park, and it looked like he overworked himself."
"You must be (Y/N)!" Mrs. Midoryia gushed, putting her hands up to her face, "Izuku talks about you all the time."
"Mom~"
"It's okay, though. I am not surprised." I laughed as I walked into the hallway with Zuku, "Where is his room?"
"It's just over there, sweetie. You can't miss it!" She pointed to the adjoining hallway next to me, "Call me if you need me!" I nodded before making my way over to his room.
She was right. It was apparent which room was his due to the All Might signs hanging at his door. I pushed open the door, meeting an almost pitch-black room. Carefully making my way over to the outline of his bed, I lowered him down onto it. It was sort of messy, but I wouldn't care less about that. I was more worried about Zuku more than anything.
"T-Thank you, (Y/N)," Zuku mumbled before dramatically falling to his side onto his bed. I smiled, thinking about how cute he was right now. If he weren't so tired, I would have pinched his cheeks right there and then.
"No problem, Zuku," I pulled off his shoes before pulling over his blanket, "Make sure you get some rest, okay?" Then, turning my heel, I was about to leave until I felt a hand grasp my wrist.
"Don't go..." He mumbled, pulling me gently back to him, "I want you to lay down next to me." My face flushed into a tomato at those words.
He wants me to sleep next to him?
"Okay, but only for a little bit." He moved over before I got into bed with him. To be able to make room on the bed, we had to turn on our sides. His front faced my back while mine was facing towards the edge of the bed. Zuku was warm, comparably speaking to his room we are in right now.
Never in my life did I think that I would be lying in the same bed with a guy.
I felt an arm wrap around my waist, pulling me towards them. I gasped in shock before mentally shutting myself up. Zuku was probably asleep, seeing how I could hear his soft snores against my ear. This time around, I'll let it pass.
After a while of staring at the wall, I felt my eyes get tired. I didn't fight against it, however, and let tiredness drift me off to sleep.
I didn't realize how long I slept until I felt a jolt right next to me. I groaned before turning over, hugging the closest to me. It was warm, but it felt sturdy. But I opened my eyes as I felt something touching my nose. Blinking out the blurriness, I yawned before fully opening my eyes.
Big widened green eyes stared back into my sleepy ones. It took me a minute to process everything. Zuku's nose was touching mine, who didn't know what to say. I didn't say anything for a bit as I was trying to calm down my thoughts. Our faces were only a couple of inches apart as I felt his warm breath on mine.
"Goodmorning." I chuckled after getting my shit together, "You sleep well?"
"U-Uh yeah," He stuttered, not daring to make a move, "W-When did you?"
"You pulled me into bed silly," I laughed, backing up just a little bit to give us some room, "You don't remember?"
"I barely remember walking into my house," He whined, rubbing his eyes, "U-Um, thank you for helping me get home." Then, smiling, I got out of his bed into the semi-cold room.
"No problem," I stretched, feeling a popping of bones relief me, "I'm starving though," I looked over to Zuku, who was looking at me up and down. Then, realizing what I was wearing, I giggled.
"Y-You look good!" Zuku stuttered as his face started turning red, "I can see that working out with Kacchan is doing good."
"I guess, but it is really because my body started developing," Looking at Zuku a little more, I could see his bare upper torso, "You look great as well. Whatever All Might is making you do is doing great with you."
"Y-You think so?" He looked down, widening his eyes, "I-I didn't realize that I took off my shirt! I'm sorry!"
"It's fine," I waved him off, "Sooner or later, I was going to see you shirtless. Anyways, I'm freezing." Then, crossing my arms around me, I started to rub my arms.
"Oh! Hold on a minute!" He jumped out of bed before going over to his desk, "I wore this earlier, so I hope you don't mind." Zuku handed me the hoodie, and I took it without much thought.
I put it on, and let me tell you. It was soft and comfy. However, the arms of it were long, and the hoodie reached down to my mid-thigh. It was an All Might hoodie design that was very popular among fans. Great choice in the material because it feels like someone is hugging me.
"Thank you," I mumbled, trying to hold down my blush, "I'll give it back to you when I leave."
"N-No, you don't have to," Zuku waved his hands in front of his face, "Keep it. It looks g-good on you!" Without thinking, I wrapped my arms around him and snuggled into his chest. I could hear his heartbeat increase, making mine do the same. Zuku wrapped me in a hug, too, after relaxing into me.
"Thank you, Izuku." I looked up at him, seeing him stare down at me, "I miss you, and I worry about you. So make sure you're not overworking yourself like that again, got it."
"I promise," Zuku kept looking down at me as if he was trying to figure out something in my eyes, "I miss you too."
I heard a click of a camera, making us pull away from each other.
"Sorry! I couldn't help but take a picture of you two lovebirds," Mrs. Midoryia gushed, swaying back and forth, "You two just look too cute together!"
"Mom!" I giggled at Zuku's whining, putting my sleeve up to my hand to hide the smile, "Come on, delete that!"
"No can do." She smiled before looking over to me, "Are you planning on staying for dinner? I made it earlier than I usually do since Izuku came home early."
"It depends what time it is," I nervously chuckled, "I have an order at home that I have to be for at 18:00."
"Oh, it's only 16:15, honey."
"Then sure, I'll love to join you two. Need any help?"
"N-No, you're the guest! You shouldn't have to worry about that!"
"I insist," I smiled, "Since I would likely be coming over more often in the future, I might as well know the place."
"Your too sweet," Mrs. Midoryia smiled, "I can see the reason why Mitsuki likes you."
"I can say the same thing to you," I started giggling, "Seeing how you can deal with Zuku's clumsiness and his consent mumbling."
"H-Hey!"
"Here, I'll show you around," She looked over to Zuku, still smiling, "Izuku, why don't you get changed for dinner."
The apartment was small but very cozy. Nothing too fancy, but I like it. The layout of the apartment was just suitable for the two of them. The furniture looked comfy too, but I didn't have the chance to sit on them. I can't believe that I haven't been here either, besides standing outside his front door.
"Yeah, know..." I turned my head over to Mrs. Midoryia, "Izuku talks a lot about you."
"Well, I hope it's good things," I giggled, "I don't mind if he said bad things. But, everyone is human and can make mistakes."
"Your too smart for your age." She smiled, walking into the kitchen, "He told me that you skipped two grades?"
"Yeah, I did," I followed after her, "I'm glad I did it. I wouldn't have met Zuku if that wasn't the case." Mrs. Midoryia handed me three plates, which I gladly accepted.
"Me too. After you transferred into his classes, he seemed happier." She went over to a drawer pulling out three sets of chopsticks, "He now rarely talks about heroes and more about you now."
"R-Really?" I grabbed the chopsticks from her and headed to the dining room.
"Yeah," She followed soon after me, holding out the food for dinner, "I know that he doesn't have a lot of friends, but I was happy that you are one of them." Mrs. Midoryia put down the food on the table while I set the plates and chopsticks down.
"I'm glad too," I frowned after thinking of something, "I didn't have any friends growing up, so it was a nice change."
"You didn't?"
"No, most of the kids wanted to be around me because of my father." I placed the last plate onto the table before looking up at her, "He was famous for his inventions back in America, so kids wanted to be my friend. After he died, they started leaving one by one. By the time I came back here, I didn't have anyone."
"I'm so sorry to hear that," She frowned, "You're such a nice girl to be around. I can't think why they would leave you like that."
"Honestly, I was a different person than I was now," I shrugged, sitting down at the table, "I was a rude kid who always got their way with everything. But after my father met my stepmom, things changed for the better. I finally had a mother figure in my life to set me straight."
"Amaya, wasn't it?" I nodded before smiling.
"She has helped me through a lot for the past couple of years. Amaya was the one who showed that being friends and a lover to someone famous was also human. Never in my life have I ever experienced someone like that, so I followed her example."
"I'm glad that you have someone in your life like that," She smiled, sitting down across from me.
"Yeah, I also have to thank Zuku for that as well. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be here today."
"Something smells good!" I heard footsteps walking into the room before someone sat down next to me, "You guys even set up the table."
"Duh, what else are you suppose to eat with?" I sarcastically remarked, making Zuku's mother laugh.
"My hands?"
"Gross!" I scrunched up my nose in disgust, "That is almost as bad as you plopping down your soggy notebook in my hands."
"You said that you were going to fix it!" Zuku remarked, putting a serving of food onto his plate, "Which I thank you, by the way."
"And I told you it wasn't a problem," I couldn't help but smile, "But, that doesn't mean that you can do that."
"Izuku? How did your notebook get soggy?" We both paused, wondering if we should tell her or not. Then, deciding not to waste any time, I answered for him.
"Um, it landed in the water fountain outside of the school," I nervously chuckled, grabbing my chopsticks, "I told him that I could repair it, and I did."
"With your quirk?"
"Yeah! It was so cool, mom!" Zuku exclaimed, his face shown in excitement, "She was able to reverse it back to normal!"
"Was it that day that you came home after the villain attack?" Zuku's mom questioned, now getting a serving for herself, "When you came home, you were holding onto it like it was something sacred."
"Y-Yeah."
"Well, I'm glad that it's fixed." She handed me the serving utensil, and I got myself a serving, "You have thirteen of those now, don't you?"
"Thirteen?!" I exclaimed in shock, "That's a lot of books!" I looked over to Zuku, seeing his face crawl with confusion for a second.
"Well, I usually don't bring them out at school. But I can show them to you if you will like," He smiled again, making me smile as well.
"That would be awesome!"
"Show them to her after dinner, Izuku." Mrs. Midoryia chuckled, grabbing a piece of food with her chopstick.
We finished dinner after talking about school and other things. The conversation was a change of pace. I have been hanging around Katsu more often. It was nice not having to yell at someone every thirty minutes.
Both Zuku and I walked back into his room before sitting down on his bed. Yeah, he was sitting, and I decided to plop down onto it- landing on my stomach. His bed was so comfortable; I couldn't help myself. Letting out a sigh of relief, I grabbed his pillow and snuggled up to it.
"You seem to love my bed more than I do," He chuckled, shaking his head.
"It's mine. I claim it when I am here," I stated in seriousness, "You can use it when I'm not."
"But that's MY bed in MY room!" He got up and peered down at me, "I had it first!"
"Doesn't matter," I smirked, "You let me lay on your bed. It's now mine,"
"I swear, you're such a child sometimes," He shook his head before smiling, "I'll let you have it for now."
"Good," I closed my eyes, wanting to go back to sleep, "I want to cuddle."
"H-Huh?!"
"You started it, and now I can't get enough. Now lay your ass down next to me and let me cuddle you, broccoli boy,"
"Y-You sure about that (Y-Y/N)-" I opened my eyes to glare at him. He shut up and did what I said.
The bed sunk again with his weight, and I moved over to make room. Zuku laid on his back, trying to look up at the ceiling. Giggling, I turned to my side before putting my head on his chest. Half of my body was on him, making him tense up a bit.
"C-Can I move my arm?" Without a word, I lifted myself a bit before he slid his arm from under me. After that, I snuggled closer, feeling the hand he raised wrap around me.
It was nice, just being the two of us here. Zuku was warmer than I expected, but I didn't complain. Maybe in the future, I should ask for some more cuddle sessions. But, yeah, that's not a maybe. For sure, I was going to ask again.
We both stayed like this for 15 minutes until I heard that my phone was going off. I groaned in frustration before grabbing my phone out of my leggings pocket. Whoever is calling must be important because I rather not interrupt my cuddling time with Zuku. So, without looking, I pushed the accept button and held it up to my ear.
"Hello,"
"WHERE IN THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" I quickly sat up, my eyes widening from the scare.
"The bigger question, where are you?" I nervously laughed, looking over to Zuku, who had the look of being confused and concerned.
"I'm at your house, idiot. But, unfortunately, it looks like nobody's home."
OH SHIT! I COMPLETELY FORGOT!
"Sorry!" I exclaimed, starting to rub my neck with my hand, "I went out for a run. I'll be there in a sec."
"You better, or I'll come in myself."
"DON'T JUST BREAK INTO MY HOUSE, KATSU!"
"I WILL IF YOU'RE NOT HERE IN A MINUTE!"
"Okay, Okay." I mumbled, "Be there soon." I took my phone off my ear, and I ended the call.
"I'm guessing it was Kacchan?"
"Yeah, I forgot that he was coming over." I moved over Zuku's body and planted my feet onto the ground, "I also have to be there when the delivery crew drops off the workout equipment."
"Oh, okay," He sounded sad but quickly changed his tone, "I don't want to keep you longer than you have to."
"Sorry," I apologized, standing up onto my feet, "Let's do this again. I enjoyed it," Smiling, I leaned over to his face and gave a quick peck on his forehead.
"You have my number,"
"I sure do, broccoli boy," I walked over to the door, opening it, "I'll see ya at school!" Then, walking out, I quickly went to the front door and put on my shoes.
"You're leaving?" I didn't have to look to know who said that.
"Yeah, I have to get home," I laughed before grabbing onto the door handle, "Thank you for allowing me to come over, Mrs. Midoyria."
"Anytime, (Y/N)." She smiled. I opened the door before activating my quirk.
The area around me turned gray as I made my way down the stairs. Thankfully, Zuku doesn't live far from me, but it was quite a bit away. I took off the sweatshirt before tying it onto my waist. I rather not have my sweat on it when I start on my way home. So, then, I took off running in the direction of my house.
I deactivated my quirk as soon as I could see my house. I was already sweating from how fast I was running. Then, slowing down my pace, I stopped before Katsu, putting my hands on my legs as I tried to catch my breath.
"Took you long enough," He scoffed before holding out his hand. I gave him the keys, and he unlocked the door. Following him inside, I plop myself down on the couch with a sigh.
"We are going to have to wait for the delivery guys to come before doing anything," I heard Katsu walk up to me before placing himself down right next to me.
"Delivery guys?" I looked over to him, seeing that he was raising an eyebrow towards me.
"Yeah, I bought some stuff this morning for the workout room." I shrugged before smiling, "You did end up blowing up one of the dumbells yesterday."
"I told you it was an accident!" He yelled, which ended up making me laugh, "Hey! Don't laugh at me!"
"How can I not?" I tried to cover my laugh with my hands, "It was funny. I was doing squats, then the next thing I knew, the whole room was engulfed in smoke."
"It's not my fault that-" the doorbell cut off Katsu's voice. I got up and walked over to the door. Opening the door, I was met with a hot blonde-haired guy who over towered me.
"Hello, Miss (L/N)." He smiled, holding out a clipboard, "I have a delivery for you." I smiled as well before signing the paper on the clipboard before handing it back to him.
"There you are," I opened my door wider before a group of guys walked into the house with heavy boxes, "The workout room is downstairs in the basement."
"Okay, show us the way." I nodded before walking over to the basement door to open it, "It is down the stairs to the left. You can't miss it."
It took them an hour to get everything set up, and boy, Katsu was not happy. He was mumbling to himself as he stood close to me. His now muscular arms crossed his chest as he kept glaring at any guy who would look our way.
I wonder what his problem is?
"All set, Miss." The guy from earlier walked over to us, still smiling, "Let me say, this house was not what I was expecting."
"It's different from others," I laughed, "Thank you,"
"Anytime," He winked before looking over to the others, "Alright! Let's wrap it up!"
"I don't like those guys," Katsu mumbled next to me, "They piss me off." I turn my head over towards him with my eyebrow raised.
"Everything pisses you off, Katsu," I retorted, "I don't see what your problem is." We walked up the stairs, hearing everyone follow behind us. Opening the front door, guys walked past, saying their goodbyes.
"It was nice meeting you, Miss (Y/N)." I turned my attention over to the blonde, "If you need help with any of the equipment, don't be afraid to call for me. My name is Kenji." He took out his hand, waiting for me to shake it. Taking out my hand, I shook his hand.
"Mine is (Y/N)." I smiled before letting go of his hand, "Don't work too hard,"
"You as well," Kenji winked before exiting through the front door. I closed it behind him and looked at my hand. There was a card in it, probably his business card, that had his phone number on it.
"Give me that!" The card was swiped from my hand, and before I knew it, it was turned into ashes.
"Katsu! What the hell?!" I yelled, "What's your problem?"
"Those guys were checking you out, Glitchy!" Then, he yelled, "This even proves it since that blondie there gave you his damn phone number!"
"Calm down, Katsu!" I put my hands onto his cheeks to make him look me into my eyes, "It's fine. I get it. You're just overprotective of me, and it's okay. I was going to throw that out anyways." I smiled before letting go of his face.
"Whatever," He scoffed, standing up straight, "Wanna test out that equipment now?"
"HELL YA!" I giggled before taking his hand to drag him down to the basement with me.
