UNTIL I MET MY SOULMATE

I couldn't stop looking at my wrist. What if he didn't like me? What if his clock had already run out? What if he was actually a she? I've seen the way girls act around their soulmates, and that was NOT the kind of relationship I wanted. Unless she was more of a tomboy, I guess.

I left the Hades cabin and went down to the arena. If I kept worrying about this too much longer, I might accidentally raise a skeleton army from the dead.

I started counting the straw filled dummies I murdered.

2 decapitaed
3 through the heart
1 in the back
5 disabled in various ways.

Some kid, real young, asked me how I was so good at "swording" and I showed her a few simple moves, such as how to block an opponent's blade, and how to hold the sword without cutting yourself (we had to go over this one multiple times before I thought her the other stuff.) Once she was satisfied with her lesson, she ran over to someone, who I assumed was her older brother, shouting "Liam, Liam! Look what he taught me, Liam!" (Yes, Storm1001 that is you. It's your fault I love Solangelo so much, so I figured that I'd mention you.) I sighed, that kid was just too cute. I didn't have time to enjoy her cuteness, though, because a huge sheet of bronze fell on my head.

Percy's POV

Leo was doing some repairs to Festus, capture the flag had left more then a few dents on him. Leo had made a new plate for Festus's back, and asked me and Jason to fly it over to Bunker Nine. We agreed, of course, I whistled for Blackjack, and soon enough, we were off.

Now, let me explain something quickly, or the next part won't make sense. Earlier that day, the Hecate kids decided that it would be funny to enchant a brick to chase after Jason. He finally lost it about two hours after they set it free, and the Hecate kids had said that they ended the spell. They lied. Back to the story now.

"BRICK!" Jason shouted, and ducked as a brick came hurtling at him, only missing his head by a few inches. The thing is, when he ducked, he dropped his end of the bronze. I was completely unprepared for that, and felt the sheet slip out of my hand. I watched it, as if in slow motion, falling, falling, straight onto the head of Nico diAngelo.

I swooped down as fast as I could and jumped off Blackjack, rolling as I hit the ground. "Nico!" I shouted, as I pushed the sheet of metal aside. "Nico, are you okay?!"

No response. He just lay there. Two people soon came rushing over. A small girl, and a boy who seemed to be her older brother. "Is he alright?" The girl asked. I replied with "Are you two Apollo children or healers of any sort? If not, GET SOME NOW!"

Ooooh a cliffhanger. Welp, that's all for now, because it's 2:30 AM and I should REALLY get some sleep. Good night! (Or whatever time it is for you)
