"Out of the way, Erik." Marco pushed at his team mate's shoulder, trying to get closer to Agueda who was still shaken after the accident. "She's my soulmate."

"Hey!" Erik pushed his friend in return, a scolding tone in his voice. "Stop that. I don't want to move too suddenly, she could get hurt." From behind his car, the four heard loud honking, the person behind them was trying to get by. Erik reached into his jacket pocket to grab his car keys. Tossing them at his friend, he instructed, "Will you move my car? I'm going to take her to that bench over there." He gestured to the bus bench where moments earlier Marco had been sitting before everything happened.

Marco nodded and got up. He hurried towards the car behind them that had the driver side door open. Climbing into the car, he started the engine and waited for the others to move out of the way before he could put the car into drive. Erik slid his arms beneath Agueda and picked her up easily, carrying her to the bus bench nearby. He helped her lay down on the bench and sat next to her, trying to block her from the pouring rain that was falling on them. But it was of no use. All of them were already soaking wet; their hair and clothes were dripping with cold rain water. Grettel had followed behind the Dortmund footballer and Marco went around the corner to find a parking space on the street. The car behind them was finally able to drive away, not even bothering to ask if they were okay.

Placing her head on his lap carefully, he told her, "I'm so sorry." He repeated the apology over and over. His hands frantically wiped the rain drops from her face.

She smiled softly up at him, everything in that moment just seemed unreal to her. "Relax. You're acting like I'm on my death bed."

"I hit you with my car." He reminded her in a panic.

Closing her eyes for a moment, she told him, "I think one person freaking out is enough." She didn't think it was anything serious since he had been able to hit the brakes before really running her over. She wasn't feeling any severe pain, only a slight throbbing in her leg that she thought would go away after icing it. Looking at her sister who was in tears by the bus sign, she corrected herself, "Two people freaking out is enough."

Marco jogged back towards them, his eyes full of worry. Erik ran a hand through his hair dampened by the rain, there was a look of nervousness on his face. "What's taking the ambulance so long?" Glancing at his team mate, he asked, "How long ago did you call them, Marco?"

Marco could feel his stomach drop. "I thought you were going to call them..."

Frustrated, Erik said through gritted teeth. "I told you to do it."

"I moved your car, I can't do everything!" Marco shouted.

"It'll be faster if I take her in my car." Erik muttered under his breath, giving himself an idea. Getting up from the bench and picking the young woman up in his arms, he raced in the direction of his car. Marco and Grettel followed behind him.

He pushed the seat forward to let Marco and Grettel into the car first, then he pushed it back to place Agueda on the seat. Once in the safety of the car, Grettel got her phone out. It was slightly dampened despite having it int he safety of her purse, but it worked well enough to make a call, and that was exactly what she planned to do. "I should call mama."

"Don't worry mama over this." Agueda insisted. "I'm not dying. I don't need to go to the hospital."

"Don't listen to her!" Grettel shouted to Erik who was driving. "She's probably in a state of denial and shock. We need to get her to a hospital as quick as possible."

-

The nearest hospital was ten minutes away from the stadium. Erik parked in a spot near the entrance and along with Marco, the two helped her into the emergency room. When they saw there was a line to check in, they took Agueda to an empty seat nearby. Erik went to stand in line while Marco and Grettel watched over her.

"So..." Marco began after an awkward silence. "Your name is Maggie?" He bit his lip nervously. He didn't know how to talk to her. If she was his soul mate, he would have the rest of his life with her, but he wanted to make a first impression. Thus far, he didn't believe he was doing too bad. At least he hadn't run her over like Erik did.

"Her name is Aggie, not Maggie." Her sister corrected him.

"Its Agueda." She corrected the two of them.

"Oh." Marco felt his face go red for a brief instant, though he was quick to recover. "And...do you like football, Agueda?"

She nodded slowly. "I love football. I was actually at today's game. My parents got me the tickets for my birthday." She informed, matter-of-factly.

"Happy Birthday." Marco smiled at her.

"Thank you, Marco." She smiled back, her palm began to rub on her upper leg. The more time passed, the more she was beginning to feel a sharp pain where Erik's car hit her.

"How old are you now?" He wondered.

"Twenty one." She replied.

Erik returned moments later with a reciept of their visit and sat in the next available seat by Grettel while Agueda and Marco continued talking. Grettel turned in her seat to look at Erik, her eyes were still full of worry for her sister. "When will the doctor see her?" She asked the BVB footballer.

Erik sighed. "They told me it might be a while, its a busy night." Subconsiously, he looked over Grettel's shoulder to catch a glimpse of Agueda. She and Marco seemed to be getting on, and deep down, a part of Erik hoped they wouldn't.

When Grettel noticed, she patted him on the shoulder reassuringly. "My sister doesn't believe in all that soul mate stuff, you know. She says its nonsense."

"What are you trying to say?" He eyed Grettel.

"That you have a chance with her if you would just talk to her." The younger girl replied as though it were obvious.

"I couldn't." Erik informed her with a shake of his head. "She's Marco's soulmate and he actually believed in that stuff. He'll probably try to make things work with her. I don't want to get in between. Marco's one of my best mates."

"Don't just decide for her. Let her decide that." Grettel said.

Erik thought about it. He wanted to get to know Agueda and spend time with her, but he also didn't want to feel like he was betraying his friend.
