Starlight POV

Starlight was huddle around a small campfire. he stamped his feet. He hated the cold but Her Majesty ordered him to try and spy on the icewings. Although he could barely get close to the nearest Icewing defense. He black scales stick out in the white snow. He shoot another small burst of fire to keep him warm. 

" I hate this cold" he muttered himself. 

Soon he heard of wings beats in the distance. he whipped his around to look at the night sky. He put out the fire and flung himself in the air, his black scales to hid in the shadows and dark sky. he looked around to see if he could spot any icewings. His purple eyes scanned the ground and sky around him. He didn't see anything. 

' false alarm i guess' he thought to himself. he landed carefully on the ground. but three huge icewing soldiers blasted out of the snow around. they were using it as cover. Starlight yelped in surprise and tried to flee. One grabbed his tail, using his weight to pull him to the ground. Star hissed and shot fire at the one holding him down. At first it look like he missed, but soon he heard the one yell in pain and he lost his grip. 

" grab him already!" One yelled and pinned Starlight down. 

" let go!" Starlight yelped and struggled against the soldiers. One got annoyed and smacked him in he head with tail. cutting him with the spikes. Starlight saw stars (Ha!) and soon blacked out.

Snowstorm POV

Snow flew to the prison they had near the edge of their territory with her head held up high. Her mother made her acting queen because she was unfit to work. The icewings had a prison far from the palace in order to protect and so the prisoners won't freeze to death.  She landed near the entrance and walked in. She ignored the other prisoners yelling and complaining about the cold. 

' it's not that cold' she thought. with her living in the palace her whole life. This was warm to her.

 she stopped by Starlight's cave. he was in the back with the other nightwings. Star glared at her through his cell. She studied his pitch black scales and shimmering wings. His purple eyes stared back at her blue ones. He wasn't a bad looking dragon. Beautiful eyes and wings. handsome snout and face. 

' what am i thinking! He's the enemy!' she head in her head. but then cringed remembering he probably could read her mind (which he can btw :P). He smirked at her. she rolled her eyes. 

" hello nightwings" she snarled " what were doing in our territory? Are you a spy?" she asked

Starlight stayed silent. He ducked his head and growled softly at her. One icewing guard got annoyed and shot frost breath at him. He squeaked and ducked under the blast. 

" hey! watch snow eater!" Starlight snarled. Snow twitched her tail and the guards backed up. Her mother had taught her some commands  with her tail and talons. to signal the soldiers and guards. 

" if you answered by questions, that won't happen" Snow said calmly. "take him to Sleet. get him to talk. maybe we can get information out of him..... But keep him alive please." she said before walking out. she decided to g back and talk to her mother about. After an hour she reached the palace. When she walked to her mothers room, the nurses were waiting outside with a grim look. 

" whats wrong?" she asked concerned. 

" oh hun...... the queen.... is dead" she said softly.

What two chapters in a two day. I hope you like this new chapter. i posted two because ill be taking a small break. probably just for like..... five to seven days. I'm going over and fixing any mistake in the last few chapters.
