days passed after snowstorm first about the war. about a day after, her mother did tell her. snow pretended like she didn't know. Snowstorm didn't want her mother knowing she was sneaking around the palace instead of studying. she was know required to attend all meets involving the war.

" for practice my dear, I won't be here forever to teach you." she said. snow was confused by that. Her mother has been ruling the ice kingdom for as long as anyone can remember. she couldn't even image taking the throne from her. she sat bored in the council room listening to everyone talk about battle plans. " the nightwings attacked that" "the icewings took over that" blah blah blah. she didn't even know what they were fighting about. something.

After a few hours the meeting ended. snow walked outside. the first circle were training and have a meeting. they bowed their heads in respect as snowstorm walked by. The soldiers of the group like to show off when she's around. her mother will pick the most fit and well respected dragon to be her king. Snow hated that rule. She wanted to find love on her own. She didn't want to be who to marry. I wasn't fair! She sighed and pretended to watch the soldiers fight and train.

" why hello princess Snowstorm. what do i owe the pleasure of your visit? " a dragon asked. he bowed before standing upright with perfect stance. Snowstorm believed his name was Sleet. A well known and respected generals in her mothers fleet. he was sparkling pearly scales and bright blue eyes. He was high on his mothers list for possible suitors. he was respected, knows how to lead, can and win any battle, smart, and cunning. everything her mother was looking for.

" hello Sleet. I came to see how the soldiers were doing. to see if they were prepared for the next battle" Snowstorm said. which wasn't a complete lie.

" well i can assure you princess that this soldiers are well trained. They will bring the nightwings to the doom" he said proudly. Snow nodded and sighed. She stayed for a bit before leaving, thinking about what Sleet said. what if they really do kill all the nightwings?
