Chapter Two, Avoidance
The next day, the twins avoided each other. They didn't speak to each other unless they had to.

"What's with you and Livia?" Levian's friend, Adam (who was just slightly more popular than Levian) said.
"None of your business!" he snapped at Adam, who took a step back. Levian didn't mean to snap at anyone, it just came out like a snap.
"Are you... okay?" Adam raised an eyebrow, tilting his head.
"I'm fine, okay?" Levian said angrily, attitude creeping into his voice. "Leave me alone! There's nothing wrong with Livia and I!" Now he was yelling.
Adam took the hint and stepped back a bit more while Levian turned on his heel and walked away.

Later that day, it rained. Hard. Mrs. Weber suggested the family play MONOPOLY, the only board game the Weber family owned. The twins' younger brother, Peter, eagerly agreed, clapping his little hands together. Neither twin was very happy to play, but Mr. Weber forced them to play, saying that it was "good family spirit."

"Ha! You owe me 200 dollars!" Levian said smugly.
Livia glared daggers at Levian. "Just wait, just wait when you land on my hotel!" she said angrily. Then she handed over the 200 dollars.
"See? Now you owe me 300 dollars! That's the real HA!" Livia made a "see, I'm much better at MONOPOLY than you" face.
"Kids," Mrs. Weber scolded them angrily, "I won't tolerate that kind of rudeness in the Weber house. That clearly crosses the teasing line. ROOM. NOW. BOTH OF YOU!" Mrs. Weber yelled the last part.
Tears were rolling down Livia's face. She never got in trouble. The feeling was completely unfaimiliar to her. And she usually was more controlled.
Levian got in trouble all the time, and was all too familiar with the feeling. And he did NOT care one bit about how Livia was feeling. He simply smirked at Livia and headed into their room.
Livia slammed the door shut and hid under the bedsheets, sniffling.
