Epilogue Final

~Time skip: back in japan because epilogues shouldn't be this long. (I had a beach scene in mind for malibu but looks like it wont happen. sorry)~

Izuku deeply inhaled as he stuck his head out the car window. They were home. He certainly missed being in another country where everything was new and exciting, but nothing could truly beat being home sweet home.

Katsuki pulled Izuku back into the car, worried something would fatally take his boyfriend's head off. Shoto glanced at the two, wondering if they'd make plans that he could insert himself into causally. Izuku felt his phone vibrate and took it out.

"Ah, it's the group chat." said Izuku, looking at the two of them. "I think they added in some other guys too..."

"What?" they said in unison.

Izuku handed his phone to Katsuki so Shoto could see as well. He started to scroll through the list and did indeed see new people.

Izuku kept them at arms length, all three of them disheveled and out of breath.

"For one fucking day, you two can't just get along. Hell, not even five minutes!" Izuku complained, tired of having to break up their fights.

Katsuki cutely rested his chin on Izuku's shoulder as he said a quiet apology. Shoto apologized as well for having upset Izuku. Izuku sighed heavily then leaned back with his eyes closed. He never wanted to be at home alone in his room so bad.

Izuku's mom watched her son grab his things from the trunk and storm towards their apartment. She looked at Shoto and Katsuki who looked as if they had been scolded by their parents.

Izuku took out his keys and opened the front door, slamming it behind him. Why was it so hard maintaining his friendship with Shoto while dating Katsuki? He didn't want to have to chose whether or not to be friends with Shoto.

He flopped onto his bed, groaning when his phone started to ring. He lazily answered and put whoever it was on speaker.

"Unlock your door." Katsuki said.

"Huh? Wouldn't you have come in with my mom...?" Izuku mumbled.

He heard a knock on his door. He sluggishly got up and unlocked his door. He now stood face to face with a somber Katsuki.

"Look, I'm really sorry. I know I shouldn't let him get under my skin but it's just... he really irritates me." Katsuki said in a quiet voice. "I'm probably making it hard on you..."

"He's wrong too, it's not just you. I'm just upset that he can't come to terms with how things are and that you let him get to you. I chose you, Kacchan. Feel more confident." said Izuku, gently holding his hands.

Katsuki started to tear up, causing Izuku to panic. He ended up giving him a tight hug and quietly listening to Katsuki sob.

"I know I'm not the best, but for you I'll try my hardest. I want to be someone you can feel proud of dating..." Katsuki muttered.

"I'm already proud of you. They may be small, but like I've said before, you're changing. That's the best thing I could ever ask for from you." replied Izuku, tenderly patting Katsuki's head.

Izuku's mom poked her head around the corner, her eyes softening and the sight before her. She decided to give them more time alone before interrupting their sweet moment together.

Katsuki stole a bite from Izuku's bowl then received a painful kick to his leg underneath the table. Mrs. Midoriya looked between them with worry.

"Mom, can we throw him out?" Izuku spat, angrily eating.

"Why?" she asked curiously.

"He's annoying. I can't do anything in peace anymore. I was finishing up my summer work earlier and you know what he did? He hid my books and told me to play a few rounds of games with him to get them back. And even after I did that..." Izuku rattled off, glaring at Katsuki from time to time. "And just now he stole my last piece of meat! I'm tired!"

Katsuki gave them a sheepish smile. Mrs. Midoriya laughed heartily, remembering the times her and her husband had times like that.

"I understand how you feel, but in those moments that you consider 'annoying', weren't you having fun?" she asked with a smile.

"I guess..." Izuku muttered, deflating.

"Now I'm not trying to say what Katsuki did was right, but I simply see it as him just wanting to spend time with you." she added on, giving Katsuki a stern look.

Izuku remained silent as he pouted and picked at his food. He didn't want to admit he had fun, taking a break from stressful school work to have a friendly competition. He looked up at the feeling of someone holding his hand.

"Sorry." said Katsuki, gently rubbing the back of his hand. "If I get annoying, you can speak up you know."

"Yeah, I know. But you looked like you were having fun..." Izuku said with a pout. "Why not help me next time and then we can goof around..."

"Well, at least I can show you that I'm more than just a whizz in the sheets." joked Katsuki, earning himself another kick from a reddened Izuku.
