Episode 9: Only On You

"Take off your sunglasses." Harry ordered, taking slow steps towards me, his chest rising and falling and his breathing uneven as neared me.

I didn't listen, still looking over at Talie who was staring between me and her father with wide eyes.

She called me her mom.

Harry was now in front of me, blocking my view from her as he blinked down at me, his jaw locked and his hands visibly shaking when I didn't comply.

"Take off the glasses Nat." He repeated in a low growl as I looked down at my feet to avoid the intensity behind his angered green eyes, as if he was about to snap at any moment.

I held my breath when Harry raised his hands, gently taking ahold of my glasses and slowly taking them off my face making me screw my eyes shut, hearing his breathing increase before it was dead silent as my black eye was revealed.

"It's- It's not as bad as it looks." I admitted, finally opening my eyes only to find Harry with the most scary infuriated expression on his face, his eyes wide in shock and his knuckles turning white as he gripped onto the sunglasses.

"Where is he..." He began in a low rumble, his voice dripping with sadistic intentions as I gaped up at him.

Never in all my years of knowing Harry had I ever seen him this mad, and I'd seen him mad so many times.

This was different, usually he would blow up, yell, or curse.

He was dead silent right now, his jaw clenched, his broad shoulders tense and the vein in his neck prominent as his chest rose and fell at an uneven pace as he kept his gaze on my bruise.

He slowly brought his hand up, hesitantly carressing my face as if he couldn't believe I had been beaten, flinching his fingers back when I winced ever so slightly the moment he grazed my black eyes.

"Where is he." Harry repeated as I blinked down at my feet.

"Harry... I handled it you don't-"

"I'm not going to ask again." He said in a chillingly cold voice, now looking over at Talie making my eyes widen.

"Local hospital." She informed, avoiding my gaze with a guilty expression on her face.

Harry looked back at me, continuing to stare at me for the longest time and at the moment I felt as if I was being observed by an agitated bull ready to strike at any moment.

"I'll kill him." He muttered under his breath in a low dark voice that made me snap my gaze up to meet his deadly one.

"Wait just calm down and chill for a second-"

He turned, violently slamming the pair of sunglasses in his hand down on the kitchen counter before he stormed out of the room, the front door opening and closing with a loud overwhelming bang that echoed throughout the rest of the house.

I slowly approached the counter, peering down at the cracked broken lenses and frame of my sunglasses that Harry had unconsciously crushed under his grasp.

"Nat I'm sorry, I just, Aaron deserves this I'm sorry, I'm mad and he's an asshole." Talie quickly began to apologize, assuming I was mad at her as I turned to her.

"It's okay, I'm not mad." I assured her, watching as a relieved expression overcame her worried features before I looked back down at the broken sunglasses.

"Come on, we need to catch up with your dad, before he does something that'll get him into some major trouble." I said with a shake of my head, knowing him too well as Talie nodded obediantly, quickly following me out the door and getting into my car.

"Text Haz and tell him to go straight to your house when he's off work. When I park in front of the hospital you're going to stay in the car and wait until I get your dad okay?" I asked, buckling my seatbelt and starting the engine as I hurriedly pulled out of the driveway, briefly glancing at the tire streaks that were etched on the road from Harry's car when he drove away.

"Why can't I go too?" Talie curiously asked, looking over at me as I kept my gaze on the road.

"Because," I began, turning the corner and accelerating the vehicle as I tried to calm myself down.

"I don't want you to see what your dad is about to do."

"Thanks again for the stitches doc." Aaron said, gently groping his nose as the doctor besides him smiled, resting an assuring hand on my soon to be ex-husband's shoulder as I got out of the elevator.

"Anytime Mr. Turner, it was a pretty hard hit but you'll survive." The doctor smiled, checking his clipboard before Harry burst into the hallway, the two doors separating one wing from the other violently slamming against the walls scaring most of the patients and nurses.

"I'll fucking kill you!" Harry yelled, advancing towards Aaron whose eyes widened at the sight of the tall angered man charging after him before Harry swung his fist straight into Aaron's stitched nose, an audible crack snapping through the nose while blood already began to gush out of the open wound as Aaron fell to the ground in shock.

"Or not.... Hey Miranda, yeah Ima need you to cancel my next appointments...." The doctor casually said into his phone, looking over a few files in his hand as he side stepped out of the way when Harry attacked Aaron on the floor, grabbing his collar as he repeatedly brought his already bloodied fist down onto Aaron's face.

"You don't touch her! You don't ever fucking touch her you hear me! You like hitting woman huh? You wanna hurt my Natalie? How do you fucking like it you sick son of a bitch!" Harry spat, his punches becoming relentless even as Aaron groaned underneath him, fellow doctors and nurses immediatly running to pry Harry off as I quickly joined.

"You're dead! You're fucking dead!" Harry continued to go absolutely ballistic, a crazed look in his eyes as he continuously pushing and shoved away whoever tried to stop him as if they were little tiny flies.

"Alright enough Harry, Harry!" I said, raising my voice and grabbing his tense shoulder before taking ahold of his wrist when he raised his bloodied fist to give Aaron another blow to the face, his head snapping to me, his breathing heavy and his teeth grit as we made eye contact.

What I saw completely threw me.

Tears were streaming down Harry's face, his expression still angry and ruthless but his dark green eyes red and watery, his flushed cheeks wet as he quickly looked away from me and got off Aaron in a daze as I kept my hand on his heaving shoulders, pulling him back.

I looked at Harry before I looked back down at Aaron's disfigured face as he spit out blood from his mangled torn lips before the screams were heard.

"Aaron!" Two woman shrieked in alarm, running towards him in a frenzy as he groaned, the both of them going on either side of him as they helped him up.

"How could you." The one with a straight hazel bob cut sneered as the other woman with waves of bleached hair scowled at Harry and I.

"I'm sorry, who are you two?" I asked in confusion, rubbing Harry's shoulder before stepping forward and looking between them.

"Were his wives." They both claimed in proud voices, not missing a beat as my eyes widened.

"Wha- Excuse me, his wives? But I'm- well I was his-"

"Yes, you were his wife as well. How could we forget the woman who weaseled her way into our lives and ruined our marriage." The hazel haired one hissed in distaste.

Aaron had more than one wife.

And the two knew about it.

"Polygamy is illegal in the US." I said, my anger boiling as I took a step towards Aaron making the bleached blonde lady move forward to protect their husband.

Polygamy, when a man is married to more than one woman and or vice versa.

And all this time, I had no idea I was in one.

"They're my wives Natalie, and so are you." Aaron spoke up, his voice weak and groggy as the women continued to soothe him, cooing and running their hands across his chest and hair as Harry came forward.

"She's not your wife anymore. She already signed the divorce papers." Harry spoke up as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Yeah." I said, taking Aaron and I's ring from my back pocket before dropping it to the ground in front of his feet, realizing that the ring was absolutely identical to the ones on the other women's fingers.

"More dramatic." Harry whispered besides me, leaning closer to me as I bent down and picked the ring up again.

"Yeah!" I screamed this time, throwing it more dramatically to the floor instead of just dropping it.

Harry leaned away with a small satisfied smile on his face.

"I told you, I wasn't cheating. I solemnly swore, I wasn't with anyone who wasn't my wife and that was the truth-"

"You have more than one wife! Oh my god, you're so- god the stupidity thinking that doesn't even count as cheating when I didn't even know!" I exclaimed, gesturing between him and his wives as he stared at me through puffy swollen bruised eyes.

"I was going to tell you, I knew you would react this way, we all did. I was planning to tell you when we went on a vacation, just you, me, and Brenda and Lily." He said, introducing the names of his other wives who straightened their postures with proud looks on their faces while I furrowed my brows at them.

"Oh so you mean the trip to Hawaii, the one you paid using my credit card. As in this one." I said, holding up the four tickets I found in his underwear drawer when I was cleaning up as Aaron's eyes widened in disbelief.

"How did you- where did you-" He began, blinking at me in shock as I looked through the tickets.

"And tell me exactly, where our son Haz would fit in this little getaway plan." I said, meeting his gaze with a hard glare as his chest began to rise and fall rapidly.

"I didn't forget Haz. I was just gonna ask Harry and Cynthia if he could crash at their place for a week while we were gone. So I could spend more time with you, with my wives." Aaron explained in an enlightened voice, as if he was preaching a moral lesson making Brenda and Lily sigh with smiles of admiration as they stared at him while I squinted my eyes at him.

"You can't be serious! How many days did you say you were working when really you were back with your other spouses huh?"

"It's not my fault! What we did was a mistake I saw it on your face! I was drunk and you were high! You think I wanted a kid with you- or a kid at all!? I never wanted to have a child, I just wanted to be with the two women I loved and you fucked that up for me!" Aaron yelled at me, leaning forward causing Harry to take a step towards him only for me to stop him, placing my hand over his broad chest as I stared at my ex-husband with a neutral expression.

"You know, it just hurts. It hurts that all this time while we were together, living under one roof, that it was all a lie and that you couldn't give two shits about your own son. But you know what- I'm not going to cry over it, because you are not worth any of my tears." I told him in a low even voice, looking straight into his puffy swollen eyes.

"What'd she say!" One of the elderly patients in a hospital gown yelled, holding into his IV besides him.

"She said he isn't worth her tears." The nurse besides him informed.

"What was that!"

"She said he isn't worth her tears!-"

"She gave birth to beers!" The old man cut the nurse off, looking over at me with wide amazed eyes as I smirked, nodding my head and bringing my thumbs up.

"You can't just leave me, you can't just fucking take the tickets-" Aaron sputtered out as his wives tried to calm him.

"Oh but I can because it was bought under my name, and so was the house so.... maybe around this week you can come over and pick up whatever stuff you have and my lawyer will contact yours." I said with a tilt of my head, waving the tickets in my hand with a raise of my brows before stuffing them back inside my back pocket.

"Come on, we need to get you stitched." I said, my voice now soft as I turned my attention to Harry by my side, taking ahold of one of his cut and bloodied knuckles as I led him to a nearby nurse who volunteered to help while security came in, not bothering to look or check Aaron behind us.

I went inside a small room where the nurse lead us to, she cleaned and bandaged Harry's wounds as he sat on the bed near the window while she gave me an ice pack for my eye, smiling sweetly at the both of us even with the empty expression on Harry's face.

"I'll talk to the security and explain what happened, just stay here just in case alright?" She reassured me, placing a friendly hand on my shoulder as I sent her a small grateful smile, nodding in understanding before she glanced over at Harry who sat there quietly.

She left without another word, closing the door and leaving Harry and I alone together as I looked over at him.

He was staring down at the floor, not meeting my eyes as I rose to my feet, taking slow cautious steps as I approached him.

"Hey," I said in a gentle tone, now in front of him, my hand hesitantly hovering over his shoulder when he didn't respond, still staring at the ground before he leaned forward until his forehead was resting against my chest.

And that's when Harry started to cry.

He wrapped his strong arms around my body, pulling me closer and lifting his head to bury his face into the crook of my neck as I wrapped my arms around him, rubbing his back in a calming manner as I whispered to him, trying to soothe him.

"Shhh... it's okay, I'm okay. No more crying." I whispered, placing one of my hands into his hair, running my fingers through his strands to ease his tears.

"I promised myself- I promised myself I'd never let anyone hurt you." He said in a hoarse shakey voice, squeezing me tighter as if I was going to vanish into thin air at any moment while my heart broke in two at his words and actions.

"I'm so sorry Nat." Harry said into my neck, his tears falling onto my skin as I frowned, cupping his face and lifting it up so our eyes would meet.

"There's no need to apologize. This wasn't your fault, look at me I'm okay. We're okay." I told him, bringing my sleeves up and gently wiping his tears as his eyes fluttered close at the action while I held onto his jawline.

"Remember what I used to do to cheer you up?" I asked him with a tilt of my head, peering down at him as he opened his sad green eyes, nodding softly.

"Don't stress out vanilla boy," I said, grabbing his chin and tilting it up so he could see the small smile on my face.

"Because I'll protect you, my heart beats for you," I began, reciting what I always told Harry to calm him down whenever he was angry or upset as I placed his hands over my heart.

"My smile is because of you." I then said, bringing his large hands up to cup my face as I gave him an overexaggerated smile that made him let out a little chuckle, his eyes still slightly watery as he attempted to blink them away.

"And my eyes," I said, now raising Harry's hands over my eyes with a cheeky grin only for him to pull away from my face so he could meet my gaze.

"Are only on you." Harry finished, looking up at me as I nodded, biting my lip to keep from tearing up at the fact that he remembered before I hugged him, burying my face into his shoulder and closing my eyes as I inhaled his vanilla scent.

I miss you.

I miss you so much Harry, if only you knew.

"I miss you." Harry said out loud, breaking the comfortable silence between us as my eyes snapped open in surprise, feeling as if he had read my thoughts making me pull away to look at him.

"I miss you're annoying laugh, you're repetitive teasing and mocking of my accent. I miss waking up next to you, even if your whole body is sprawled upside down on the bed with your feet in my face." He laughed, making me smile at the memory of our mornings together.

"I miss telling you to always clean up but cleaning up after you anyways despite myself. I miss your terrible singing and overdramatic dancing. I miss cooking for you and watching you eat my food. I miss you so much." He told me as I blinked down at him, not knowing what to say yet wanting to say so much at the same time as I stepped back, his hands grabbing mine immediatly.

"But-" I began when I glanced down at his and Cynthia's wedding ring he was wearing before the door opened.

There Cynthia stood at the entrance, her mascara smudged and runny over her pale face as she looked at us, her posture stiff and her complexion unhealthy before her empty blue eyes looked down at our intwined hands, making me try to pull away only for Harry to hold them tighter.

And then Cynthia looked up, meeting her husband's hard gaze with her own.

"Harry I'm pregnant."
