Episode 20: Taking A Wee

AN: Super important explanation at the end of this last chapter.

I walked down the isle, my arm linked with Harry's as family and friends turned in their seats, smiling and holding up cameras when they saw us while I grinned at Haz at the end who smirked at me in his sleek black tux.

In the corner of my peripheral vision I spotted Anne, already dabbing at her watering eyes with a napkin, sniffing to herself and smiling at us before looking over to the other side where Carlos and Georgia were seated, Georgia blew us a kiss, resting her hand over her heart with a smile while Carlos smirked and nodded his head, slowly raising his hand in a thumbs up.

I then turned to Harry, my dad who showed no interest in anyone else aside from Nat, his eyes trained on the smiling woman who was waiting for him at the alter in her white wedding dress.

I waved at Nat who waved back at me, scrunching her nose playfully as I gave Harry to her, backing away and joining Haz on the side as he took out his camera, already snapping pictures of his parents who were finally about to get remarried right before our eyes after all these years apart.

"Sorry, had to take a wee." Harry apologized in his deep charmismatic british voice, readjusting his black tux, sending Nat a sheeping dimpled grin while Bernie cleared his throat in between them, licking the pad of his thumb and flipping the bible in his hand.

"Long as your bladder's empty, now we can get this show on the road. Where were we again?" Bernie announced with a pot bellied laugh as Nat and Harry looked at one another before Nat opened her hand, their same old wedding rings in her hand as she gave hers to Harry.

"Oh right, we got to the do you yada yada take yada yada to be your bla bla cliché bla husband slash sugar daddy." Bernie said, reading through the small brown leather book in his hand as everyone let out light laughs, watching in anticipation when Nat took Harry's hand, sliding his ring down onto his finger as Harry blushed.

"Talie, psst, toots." Haz suddenly nudged me in an urgent whisper as I looked over at him.

"What?" I asked in confusion, not wanting to take my eyes away from the heartouching scene in front of me as Nat said her "I do."

"Talie, either you pissed yourself or your water just broke." Haz quickly whispered, making me snap my gaze to his wide eyes before he gestured down, making me look down to find a trickle of liquid running down my legs underneath my portruding stomach.

"Fuck, just ignore it for now." I mumbled, leaning closer to Haz who was visibly freaking out unlike me while I continued to watch Harry and Nat say their I do's.

"But it's just leaking-"

"I got it, let's just wait."

"Wait? Wait for what the baby to just slip out-"

The whole room suddenly erupted into loud cheers and hollers, interrupting Haz and I's bickering as we saw Nat and Harry kiss, smiling even as their lips met while everyone clapped in celebration.

"Aww..." I cooed, placing my hands over my heart when I saw them.

"Talieee...." Haz hissed at my side in clear concern as I patted his cheek in a patronizing manner.

"Wait let's watch them kiss one more time-"

"Talie! Did your water just break?" Nat exclaimed, pulling away from Harry and gaping down at my legs with wide eyes Haz frantically nodded his head at my side.

"It's fine, this is you guys' day I'll just head to the hospital and you guys can meet up with me after-"

"Fuck that." Harry and Nat said in unison, giving me a look as they smiled.

"Alright everyone listen up! Talie's water just broke so we're puttin' a pause on this wedding and moving to the hospital! Who's with me!?" Nat announced in her loud light hearted voice, snapping her fingers and pointing out the door as everyone stood to their feet and cheered.

"Wanna help the mother of your child get in the car?" Harry mused, raising his brow at Haz as both my dad and my baby daddy linked their arms with mine on both sides as Haz grinned before turning to look at me.

"Ready when you are miss Frizz."

"I wanna hold her now, it's my turn." Harry insisted in irritation, trying to grab my newborn baby swaddled in pink away from Nat's arms as she shied away from his prying hands, the both of them still dressed in their wedding attire.

Cynthia glanced up from her phone at the back, having already had her turn with the baby as she smiled at both Harry and Nat before looking back down at her device.

"Hell no, you held her for almost half an hour. It's my turn still." Nat protested in a defensive tone, a sassy expression etched across her face as she narrowed her brown eyes at her husband who did the same to her in return.

"Talie, Haz, she's not giving me the baby." Harry complained with a turn of his head as he looked over at to the two of us on the hospital bed, Haz laying down besides me and holding my hand as Nat flipped Harry off when his back was to her while she cradled my little girl.

I shrugged.

"Can't help you there." I said in a neutral tone as Haz laughed at the sight of Harry's frustrated expression.

"Hand over the damn fucking child Nat." He snapped, reaching out again.

"Sorry, she likes me better." Nat said in a soft patronizing voice, keeping her eyes on the sleeping baby with cute tiny brown curls like that of Haz's and gentle smooth light brown skin that was soft to the touch.

"Oh save it she's just asleep, trust me, if she knew she was being held by the same woman who almost dunked Haz into a basketball hoop as a baby she wouldn't be so peaceful right now." Harry claimed through gritted teeth as Haz's eyes widened at his dad's words.

"Say what now!?" Haz exclaimed as he brought his gaze to his mom in utter disbelief before she brought her pointer finger up at him.

"That was one time! One time!" She quickly defended.

"Okay I get to hold her now." Harry spoke up, finally losing his temper as Nat placed her white heel on his tux, trying to kick him away while balancing my daughter in her arms.

"Like hell you are."

"I swear to God Nat don't make me give you a wedgie in your wedding dress."

"Like hell you will."

"Lower your voice the baby's sleeping!"

"You lower your fucking voice-"

My daughter then sneezed a cute little baby sneeze, sniffing and shaking her head a little, her already closed eyes screwing shut even tighter before she relaxed and continued sleeping.

Harry and Nat paused.

"Aww...." They then both said with small tilts of their heads, their anger visibly dissolving as they huddled closer to eachother to peer down at their first grandkid with loving smiles of admiration on their faces.

"Hey, you don't mind if we visit Rick with the baby once we get out do you?" I asked Haz, turning my head to him as he pinched my nose.

"Course not." He simply answered, giving me a small peck as I smiled, knowing that Haz was still uneasy with Rick, as we all were but I really wanted to do this.

After what had happened a good nine months ago I got him the help he needed despite what had happened because all he wanted was a family.

He was currently getting treated at the local hospital for his mental illness and was gradually getting better over time.

"Hey, you two find a name for this cutie yet?" Harry questioned, beaming when he slipped his long pointer finger in my daughter's tiny curled little fist.

"Yeah." Haz and I said, simultaneously exchanging small looks before we looked over at Nat and Harry who continued to gaze down upon our baby with love.

"We named her Olivia."

That one sentence echoed and lingered in the air as Harry and Nat's heads snapped up in surprise, the edges around them blurring into a faded white even as the heart warming smiles of disbelief on their faces appeared, the colors of their features and background dimmed until everything was in dull shades of gray and Talie's voice from her last sentence continued to ring in the distance.

The point of view of the two and the baby then became blurred, the hospital room melting, their figures drifting away until the vision of the future collapsed all together before I was brought back to the present.

A hand.

I blinked a few times in a daze, the smell of meat and the sounds of talking and food sizzling filled my ears before I realized I was still gazing down at someone's palm in my hand.

Oh of course, not just anyone's palm.

I finally looked up, my eyes locking onto a pair of wide curious green ones framed behind large thick glass as I observed Talie's fifteen year old adolescent self seated in front of me.

"So... did you see my future?" She asked, furrowing her bushy brows as I let go of her hand with a small knowing smile.

To be more specific I saw your past, present, and future through your point of view I wanted to say, but kept my lips in a firm tight line.

"Just remember the three B's sweetie," I began, resting my elbow on the stand as I raised my hand.

"Blood, Birthmark, Baby." I said, raising three fingers with each word as she blinked at me in confusion.

"What...?" She trailed off in a slow uncertain voice, retracting her hand back away from mine in a cautious manner before I snapped my fingers and pointed at her.

"And just remember, the gun is fake." I advised, feeling obligated to tell that one only for the teen to give me a look.

"I don't understa-"

"Repeat that the gun is fake!" I snapped in urgency, making her jump back in her chair.

"The gun is fake!" She repeated in a frightened scream, giving me a terrified look as she readjusted her glasses up the bridge of her nose while I relaxed in my seat.

"Uh- the vegetarian protest sounds like they're getting pretty violent back there so I'm- I'm just gonna go, see what that's all about." She stuttered, clumsily standing to her feet, making the chair behind her screech before she stabled it, readjusting her 'I Heart Meat' shirt before she backed away from my stand.

"Kay bye..." I smiled, waving at her which she did the same before she bolted into the crowd.

I sighed, thinking about what a wonderful future that girl has in store for her while I checked my long red nails, watching people at the meat festival pass my fortune telling stand until I heard two familiar voices besides me.

Two voices that I had hear many times in Talie's past, present, and future.

I turned my head, finding none other that Nat and Harry crouching down behind a trashcan, staring into each other's eyes, their hands on top of one another as I grinned.

How cute.

"Would you like me to tell you your future?" I spoke up, making the two separate their hands quickly before turning their attention to me in surprise, an intrigued look on Nat's face and an irritated one on Harry's.

"Really, you're giving fortunes at a meat festival?" The British man challenged with a judgemental arch of his brow.

My smile dropped.

"You're holding hands behind a trashcan, you don't see me questioning it." I shot back with a deadpanned expression before quickly plastering my colgate smile on again.

"Come on, I'll tell both of your fortunes for free-" I offered, wanting to know more about these two from the visions I had from Talie's life.

Before I could even finish my sentence Nat quickly rose from behind the trash and took a seat in front of me with an excited smile, Harry begrudgingly following and taking a chair as well, grumbling under his breath.

"Ah, past lovers I see... You two have a very distinct vibe towards one another." I mused, looking between the two, my gaze briefly flickering down to their matching Olivia tattoos on their wrists as Harry rolled his eyes while Nat parted her lips in aw at my observation.

"I could've told you that." Harry scoffed while Nat turned to him with a small entertained "yo we got a vibe," leaving her mouth.

"A believer and a non-believer, very very interesting. My name is Elanna, hands please." I introduced myself before extending my hands for the palms, Nat immediatly giving hers before nudging Harry who hesitantly gave me his as well.

I focused more on Nat's palm, leaning forward with interest as my observant gaze flickered over the lines on her hand, visions of her past, present, and future suddenly flashing behind my eyes in her point of view as I inhaled sharply at all the turning points in her and Harry's life.

"Oh my oh my..." I mumble to myself, shaking my head feeling as if I had just watched a movie or at most read a book of these two and their experiences together while Nat and Harry looked at me.

My gaze finally flickered up, a slow smile creeping on my face at the sight of both of their intrigued and curious expressions, totally oblivious to the fact that they were going to go through so much in the next four years.

"You two have a lot in store for you, a lot."

The End.

AN: My first happy ending.

So in the first book Cliché, you read everything from the past. In this second book here, you read everything that will happen in the future.

Now let me just explain to anyone who's confused.

All this time you thought you were seeing everything from Nat and Talie's point of view since they switched up every chapter or so when in reality, you were actually seeing it from the fortune teller's eyes who foresaw the future in Nat and Talie's point of view.

Kind of confusing but to a point I'm gonna get deep here, just humor me for a moment, I named the fortune teller Elanna.

Elanna, aka me, can see the future, present, and past of these people which in a sense is true because I am the author and so I know the whole background and future of my characters.

You as a reader get to see all these characters and get to experience their experiences in their point of view, but to get even deeper you are seeing my characters from my eyes because I'm the author who has pictured and created all these events and people.

So you're seeing Elanna's (my) vision of these characters (Nat and Talie) in their point of views.

Boom, sparknoted that shit.

Some people have commented why I need to explain, that my writing should explain itself.

I'm not the best author and my little twists at the ends of my stories are somewhat complicated and can get confusing if I don't explain it right.

So just in case the message was not recoeved in the writing itself I always put an explanation of what had happened so no one is left in the dark and you can end the book with closure.

NOW ON TO UBER WHICH IS NOW UPPPP!! Muahaha
