Oh my.... an update after 2 years???

Skippy skip this chappie if you don't want to read what I've been up to in the last 2 years. And for those who are interested, here you goooo

I started college back in 2020 during covid anddd a month ago, I graduated. Now my country is high on some top-tier drugs and when I'm discussing my education, people are often like 'da fuq? aren't you too young for college etc?" 

 lemme explain.

In Pakistan, on average, a student graduates from high school at the age of 16. There are a number of education systems supported here such as matriculation/intermediate, O/A levels, agha khan board etc etc. But but BUTT all students roughly enter college at the age of 16-17, as inspired by the UK education model (since many south Asian countries used to be British colonies once upon a time and many influences still exist). 

Anyways, I appeared for my dream university's aptitude test, and guess what? your homegirl got a direct admission. Now, this business university is hard asf to get into and this year there were 5000+ applicants. Only 500-600 made it. Out of those, 70% have to go through a screening interview before being chosen. 

The rest of the 30% don't have to go through that cuz of their strong scores and personal statements. And your homegirl here was a part of that 30%. 

Was it stressful and made me borderline suicidal? Yes.

Was it worth it? Again, yes owo.

So yeah, I was doing internships, welfare work, studying, and trying new things in the last 2 years which kept me busy. I grew as a person and many of my views have changed. 

I tried to animate the stuff here in CCE but I couldn't do much. Though I'm not planning to drop this idea anytime soon. Maybe I can make it work some other way? who knows?

I can talk for hours about what I've been up to lately and everything that has been happening in the world. Many things are downright depressing and wrong (that can be a whole book of its own). But at the end of the day, the least we all can do is be better and compassionate.

Let's hold onto the little humanity that's left in this world and try to make it a safer place for all despite their gender, race, religion, ethnicity, sexuality, or any other feature that makes them unique.
