"What's up dawg?"

"Y/n, I told you not to use slangs in the orphanage." Felix says exasperatingly.

"We're one step away from exiting it and look, now I'm outside the orphanage." I reply exiting the building. All he does is sigh coz he can't do anything else.

"Oh how I wish you trip on your own feet" He says walking in front of me.

"Dafaq?"

"Hey! That's a no-no word!", he stops to give me a shooketh look.

"What are you, twelve?"

"Y/n!"

"Felix!"

"Hey guys!" A voice calls out for us and we turn around to look at the owner of this voice who turns out to be bang chan waving at us with a smile plastered on his face.

And that was the moment my right foot collided with my left and I fell down.

"Damn you, Felix!" I groaned as I tripped over my own foot.

"Are you-

"Are you okay princess?" Chan says cutting Felix off and crouches down to meet my eye level. He puts my arm around his shoulder and helps to get me up on my feet.

"I'm fine-

"Doesn't matter." He places his one arm around my back and the other around the bend in my knees. A gasp escape my mouth and my eyes widen as he suddenly carries me in his arms. What the hell?

"I suppose you don't mind me borrowing her for some time." He looks at Felix. "I'll have to carry her coz she's hurt. You don't mind, do you?"

"S-sure. Go ahead." Felix replies but in a feeble voice. Why isn't he protesting? A guy picks me up and walks away and Felix doesn't even flinch? That's so unlike him.

"Thanks for your help but I'm alright, really." I speak. "You can put me down."

"I know you've hurt your ankle." He says and looks down at me to pass a genuine smile. I couldn't help but stare at him for some seconds before shaking my head to get myself out of his trance.

"Stop." I say sternly.

"What's wrong princess?"

"Don't 'princess' me!"

"But-

"Put me down." I cut him off with my stern tone. "Right now." I add.

He surprisingly obeys. When I get on my feet I turn around to find Felix some meters away from us.

"Felix, you lazy brat! Get your ass right here!" I shout.

"My, my, princess. You shouldn't use such words." Chan says sounding like an eighty five year old lady.

"Don't you dare call me princess!" I growl at him.

"What happened?" Felix asks as he just joined us.

"Did you think I'll abandon you for this man?" I ask putting him in a headlock.

"What the-

"I hated the look you had when we walked away." I say ignoring the struggling Felix. I saw how he backed away when chan began to help me.

"Let's go or else both of us are gonna end up being late." I say as I drag Felix towards the college. "You can join us if you want." I tell chan so he doesn't feel left out.

"You could be more formal, y/n." Felix says inspite of being in a headlock.

"Yeah right, how can a day go on without felix's lessons?" I finally release him.

"Thanks for the offer but I won't be able to join you yet." Chan speaks whilst bowing.

"Okay. Bye!" I say as I turn around to walk away only to stop when he calls out my name.

"What is it?" I ask as I look back at him.

"You might wanna keep that necklace hidden under your clothes." He said pointing at the necklace hanging around my neck. It might have come out of my sweatshirt when I fell down.

It's a necklace with a bluish-green pendant of the size similar to that of a ring which has my name carved on it in small fonts. The chain is silver in colour and it's been around my neck since forever. I was told that I was named y/n because the orphanage found me with this necklace when I was hardly a year old. So it's been with me ever since and I've never taken it off. The pendant still shines after all these years and it changes its colour in incandescent light. Felix wears a ring with a small stone mounted on it which is similar to my pendant. We don't know why we have these jewelleries with us but we wear them coz we had them when we got into the orphanage. We were told to never take them off. The reason is still unknown. This necklace I wear is important to me for some reason and that is why I keep it hidden.

"R-Right. Thanks." I say.

I can't help but feel something's wrong with this guy.

What the hell?!

What is Bang Chan doing here in my computer science class?!

It was my last class of the day and Bang chan has been in all of my classes till now. Is he following me or something?

"What a coincidence?" Chan speaks as he takes the seat next to me.

"I didn't permit you to sit here." I retort.

"I thought I could sit wherever I want."

I sigh not knowing how to respond.

Some minutes later:-

"Why are you following me?" I whisper so I don't disturb the teacher's lecture. He stops typing and turns to face me.

"Believe me, I have better things to do than to follow you."

"I don't think it's a coincidence that all of our subjects and classes are same."

"Why? Is it not possible?" He asked before carrying on with the programming on his laptop.

Well now that he's mentioned it, it is possible for students to have all the subjects common. Even Felix and I have almost all the subjects common but we somehow don't have our classes together coz of the level and timing.

Are chan and I really going to end up in a relationship just like I assumed? Usually in movies, the guy 'coincidentally' tags along with the girl wherever she goes and then they become friends, get close and BAM! They fall in love.

RING RING RING

The bell rings informing us that the class is over. I pick up my stuff and exit the class without saying anything to chan. If Felix was here he would've scolded me for bad manners.

As I walk towards my locker to keep my books I feel someone follow me. I turn around and-

"I knew it! You are following me, aren't you?" I ask.

"I assume this is the only way towards our lockers." He states the obvious and open one of the lockers.

Why does he have to be right all the time?!

I sling my back around my shoulder and make my way towards the cafeteria as it's the rendezvous for Felix and I.

"How was the day?" I ask when I finally meet him.

"Great."

"Cool. Now let's go home before I end up sleeping right here coz I'm damn tired."

"Uh... sorry y/n. I have to stay back today so I won't be able to go back with you." He said biting his lip.

"Why?"

"I... I have soccer practice."

"You joined a club?!" I ask in amusement and He nods. "That's great Felix. I'm happy for you." I said with a smile. He's finally doing something for himself. He loves playing soccer and I'm sure he's gonna be the ace of his team. "practice well, okay?"

"Sure I will." He said. "Please go home safely. Don't wander around the streets and don't do something you know you shouldn't. If someone troubles you, first punch them in the face and then run. Don't indulge in unnecessary fights. Don't-

"For the sake of crying out loud, stop!" I cut him off before he goes on with his do's and Don'ts.
