It's been a few hours since they got back from the war zone and,thankfully, Eren was stable.

Levi was pacing around the room,looking at Eren from time to time,waiting for him  to wake up.

The way Eren looks so lifeless,is very painful to look at,and for Levi it was a million times worse.
The pain of uncertainty was excruciating for the raven-head.

The fear of Eren dying on him is terrifying to say the least. He tried to stay positive, but he just couldn't...he knew that when Eren woke up the next time, he would say that everything that happened during the battle was a mistake and that they both should just forget that it ever happened...all of it.

Hanji knocks on the door,before entering the physicians room.
(AKA her lab)
"So uh how are you Levi?", she asks,unsure on how to go about the situation.

"I'm fine,I guess...do you have any updates on how Eren is doing?", He asks,not caring about his own well-being,just caring about his love's.

"You really care for him don't you,Levi. I must say,it's very rare for you to get this attached to someone that you haven't even known that long. Why is that?", She asks the dark haired male curiously.

The male fails to make eye contact with her and so her suspensions were confirmed.
"You two are together aren't you?", she asks,her voice calm and soft,unlike her usual one.

Levi shakes his head.
"Oh come on Levi,it's pretty obvious. You don't usually care like this for anyone. And Eren always seems to be close by where you are,especially these last few weeks."

Levi's head shot up at Hanji's comment. Eren has been following him around? Why would he? It's not like he had reason to. Wait...could it be...no way,he's the one who ended it,isn't it supposed to be the other way around. Levi has been lost without Eren,maby he felt the same way?

He hoped so,he missed the younger boy to the extent,that when he saw Eren,his heart would feel like it was jumping out of his chest and his body would burn with the urgent need that he had for Eren.

In the nights they had been apart,Levi could never seem to get to sleep,and so his insomnia returned very quickly. He always had a vision for what he wanted in life,and for a long time, Eren was a big part of his future.
But since they have been separated,Levi felt that his life had no meaning,no purpose. He was walking aimlessly through life.

It was simple,without Eren,Levi had no life because Eren was Levi's life.
And without Eren he might aswell give up on living as well. But something always stopped Levi from doing something. A mere thought.
Leaving Eren to grieve for Levi's sake,was something he never wanted the younger to experience. He knew the pain of loss,and he knew Eren knew it too. He couldn't do that to him. He loved the boy way to much for that.

"Leviii~", Hanji waves her hand in front of his face,snapping him out of his daze.
Levi once again,shakes his head as a firm no,Hanji still not believing him.
"No Hanji,we're not together...at least not anymore.", and just like that,all of his harboured emotions came out in one sob. The tears running down his cheeks and Hanji quickly embracing the shorter male,while Levi cries his heart out.

Hanji,had never experienced Levi crying,so when the stoic male just started to sob,her heart pained for the male's deep hurt. She just kept rubbing the male's back in comfort,and let him cry,as she did not know how to calm down the crying man.

"shhh...It's ok just cry it out.", she gently told the male and kept rubbing his back.
"Please don't tell anyone,I don't want to hurt Eren more than I already did.",Levi pleads with Hanji,the tears still running down his pale cheeks.

"Of course. I won't tell,you have my word."
"Thank you Hanji,for everything,I'm sorry I dragged you into this.", Levi says,finally calming down,and wiping the tears off of his porcelain-like skin.

"It's no trouble,what are friends for.", She says,giving a big smile to the male,Levi returning a smaller,but still evident smile.

.......

Just as they are talking about business matters,they both hear a small groan,and then they see Eren trying to sit up,Hanji quickly helping him.

Eren rubs his eyes,still sleepy from him passing out,the life and colour slowly starting to return to his cheeks.
Relief starts to wash over Levi,before an unsettling feeling starts to form in his stomach. What will Eren do? What will he say?
Could Levi win him back?

"I'm glad you're awake Eren. I was really worried about you.", Levi says,making Eren take notice of him,the younger's eyes turning glassy.

"Um Hanji,could you please give us a minute?", Eren asks.
"Of course.", she immediately says,putting her hand on Levi's shoulder as she passes by him,out the door.

"Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be working or something?", Eren says,annoyance spilling over him. Yes he was sour,but part of him was relieved to have Levi in the room, especially when he was unconscious. It made him have hope.

"I-i took the day off. Erwin understands my reasons for not working today.", Levi answers,his heart sinking into his shoes when he saw how angry and annoyed Eren seemed.

"You didn't say anything did you?"
"No,of course not."
"Good.", Eren says,turning his head away from the captain.

"Thank you for being here but I need to rest.", Eren says quickly,trying to get rid of the male that made his heart thump and jump like it was doing now. He was afraid that if he was in Levi's presence any longer,that he would jump off of the bed and run to Levi,never letting him go again. But something stopped him. Fear. Will he be cheated on again? Will Levi even take him back? All these questions bubbling inside of Eren's head giving him a headache.

"Ugh, my head...", Eren says while clutching his head in his hands.
"Wait let me get you some pills...", Levi says about to stand up but Eren stops him.
"I'm fine,just go.", Eren says,his eyes closed at the pain.
"Look I know I made a mistake,but why do you keep pushing me away?
I hate myself for what I did,why do you have to hate me too?", Levi says,his tears starting to rise in his eyes.

Eren looks at him,slightly shocked at what the usually emotionless male just said. He began to think about how everything has turned out so far.
Has he been petty? Was it fair of him to torture Levi for one mistake,when he,Eren, has made many of his own?

Maby he has been a little unfair. Maby he could give Levi another chance...
He snaps out of his thoughts and sees Levi making his way towards the door.

"wait...", Eren says,barely audible.
Levi stops walking and just stands with his back facing Eren.
"what?", Levi asks,slight anger evident in his tone. He turns around to face Eren,and he sees the boy sitting with his legs crossed on the bed, his eyes directed towards his hands. He sees the teardrops hanging from Eren's eyes,like they're just about to fall.

His heart breaks for the hundredth time in a span on a month,and although he is still a little angry at Eren,he sighs and goes to sit on the bed,Eren in front of him.

Levi tilts Eren's head up,so that the younger boy is facing him. They stare into each other's eyes,seemingly lost in those dark orbs.

"Look Eren,I don't want to fight with you or make you cry... I want you to know that what happened,never should've happened because I love you...and no one else... Do you understand that?
I know you don't trust me, even I wouldn't trust myself if I were you.
All I ask is that you listen to what happened and don't jump to conclusions,because that's what tore us apart.-",he sighs before looking down and then continuing.

"-The reason Petra and I kissed,is because she confessed her feelings for me,but when I told her that I couldn't return them,she kissed me to try and change my mind...and that's when you walked in.
I never meant to hurt you and I'm so sorry I did. You mean the world to me,you are my world.
And without a world,one can't survive.
That's what you are to me. Without you,I cannot survive. Without you my life is meaningless and void of any colour. You light up my life like nobody ever could,and that's what makes you so special. Except for the fact that you are beautiful,smart,funny,good at alot of things,loving and honest,you make me feel safe with you. All I want is for you to feel safe with me too.
Eren....I know this is alot to ask and if you want to first think about it,it's fine, but would you consider maby patching things up again?", after Levi finishes his explanation of what hppened,he looks up and sees that Eren is crying,the rows and rows of tears flowing down his cheeks,Levi gently wiping them away before kissing the boy gently,almost as softly as when one drags a soft plump feather across one's skin.

After their lips touched,Eren almost immediately returned the kiss,tears still running down his cheeks at the thought that everything was going to be ok from now on. It felt like a very heavy burden was lifted from his shoulders,and he felt like he could breathe again. He pulls away from Levi and then puts their foreheads together,looking intensely at the gorgeous man in front of him. He smiles and says only one word. One word that joined them together once again.

"ok"

Wow this chapter sucked. I'm so sorry you guys,I just felt bad for leaving you guys hanging. If you read my Jimin fan fiction's last A/N you would know that I am neglecting this story. I'm very sorry but I hope my writers block wil subside again soon,so that I can give you guys some chapters worth reading again.

So I just wanted to thank you guys. This book has done so well in the month and a half it's been up, it's crazy. 120 reads for this book is utterly amazing and it's all thanks to you guys!

So I think this is all for now. I'm so glad they're back together, they truly belong with each other. And the next chapters are gonna be a lot more happy,the depressing content is mostly done now, so it's gonna be all fluff. (If you guys want to see a smut chapter again just say in the comments,and if I get enough comments (and by that I mean like 3😂)then I'll post a smut chapter again soon.)
