Clays P.O.V.

I was walking down to find Peril when I heard a scream. That sounded like.. PERIL!!! I ran down the hall and stopped at her cave. And what I saw fueled me with a rage I had never felt before. I roared at the top of my lungs and the three skywings that were in there saw me and rushed out of the cave. I ran over to her and started to break the chains but then I felt something stap me in the back. I roared and swung around fists flailing and I felt one connect with something and one of the skywings was unconscious on the floor "ANYBODY ELSE WANT TO TRY?!?!?!?!?!?" I bellowed. Without waiting for an answer I quickly broke the chains holding Peril. "What happened?" I asked calm now. "THEY WERE TRYING TO KILL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She wailed. I looked at her sympatheticly. "I'm-I'm sorry. I wish I could've gotten here earlier." She wrapped her wings around me. "No Clay. If you had gotten here earlier they would've killed you too." I wrapped my wings around her and suddenly winced. And stepped back feeling my back. "Ohh! Sorry. Clay! We need to get you to the infirmary immediately." She took me to the infirmary letting me lean on her. Once we got to the infirmary one of the healers came over and asked what happened. I told them what happened when I felt a sharp pain in my back again. "OW!!!!!" I roared. I whirled around and I saw it was just a healer. "Sorry, sorry, sorry. But it would've hurt alot more if we did it slow so I just yanked it out." They patched up my wound and Peril and I went back to our cave and I layed down and tried to rest like the healer recommended. Peril layed down next to me and kissed my cheek. I pulled my head up and kissed her. We then layed down with my wings around her.
