Lee's Pov

Lee: That was really good Y/N. You seem to have gotten more comfortable rapping a little faster then usual. I remember 3 months ago you only sang at your own pace, but now your over here rapping a whole paragraph within seconds.

Y/N: Oh you think that is fast, just wait until you hear what I have been working on the last 3 months. It is a very difficult one, but I am getting somewhere with it.

Carley: Well I for one can't wait to hear it. I may not have been a huge fan of rap in my time, but at this point any music is good music, and you Y/N have a serious talent for it.

Y/N: Thanks Carley and you too Lee.

Y/N's Pov

I have been seeing Lee more as a father these last  3 months and the feeling is mutual for Carley, except oviously she is more like a mother to me. They have always been there for me like I wished my own parents was. Although it took the end of the world to get it, I am still extreamly greatful to have meat up with the haldful of people I ended up with. Especially Clementine. We have grown closer in the 3 months time. I have learned a little about her parents. Like their names being Ed and Diana. She tells me stories about the places they would see and she even used to have a recorded video of when her treehouse had an enexpected guest that turned out to be a squirrel. She wanted to say hi to it, but her mother didn't want her to scare it away to get more footage of it. I haven't really told her much about my parents considering how much of shitheads they were. I did however told her more about my uncle. We just made it to the Dairy farm, and the only thing I see is the electric fence they mentioned and nothing else as a line of defense.

Andy: Here it is. Saint John Family Dairy. You can see how we kept this place, so safe.

Mark: The fence really keeps them out?

Andy: You betcha. They fry like bugs in a zapper. Where pushing 40,000 volts through that thing with generaters and amps.

Carley: I am going to assume that's a lot.

Y/N: It's enough to kill an elephant, so do not touch it unless you wanna become rib eye steak.

Lee: Yea with that in mind we have kids in our group. Doesen't seem stable to leave them near a lethal fence.

Andy: Oh don't worry about that. We got plenty to keep them entertained.

Carley: This place looks untouched. You'd never know if the rest the world is in ruins

Andy: It's worth protecting. Hence all the juice.

???: I thought I saw yall with company coming down the drive.

Andy: Guys. This is our mama.

Mama: I'm Brenda Saint John and welcome to the Saint John Dairy.

Andy: This here is Lee he's from Macon.

Brenda: Some of our old farmhand are from Macon. They grow them good there.

Andy: We can't forget about the kid mama. He is actually quite the singer we heard on the way here.

Brenda: Is that true young man. You sing?

Y/N: I guess you can call it singing, but I sing in a different form.

Andy: I haven't heard of it, but I sure liked it back there.

Brenda: What form do you sing in?

Y/N: Well it's more like I sing a different genre. What I do is called rap.

Brenda: Oh I have heard of those before. Didn't really get into it, but if my boys say you sound good then I would like to hear you once or twice.

Y/N: I could rap at least once while I am here.

Carley: Sorry to sound rude, but were awful hungry.

Brenda: These are for yall. Baked fresh this morning.

Y/N: ARE THOSE BISCUITS!?!

Danny: They sure are. Can't get stuff like that anymore. Not without a cow for milk and butter that's for sur-

I take a biscuit with lighting speed and scoffed the whole thing in 2 seconds.

Lee: Y/N!

Y/N: Aye don't look at me like that. Popeyes don't exist anymore and neither does milk and butter, so I am enjoying this for as long as I can. I do apologise for doing it unexpecetedly, but she did say they were for us.

Lee: We are all hungry Y/N:

Y/N: You make it sound like I didn't save any for anybody. I only took 1 and don't tell me food is for me, or you won't see it ever again.

Brenda: It's quite alright. I would do the same thing at his age. Hopefully Mabel will make it through this bout of whatever she's got a be will us for a good long while.

Lee: Your cow is sick? What she-

Mark: We have a vet, we could bring her here. We could help you folks out.

Y/N: *Facepalms*

Brenda: A vet? Oh my. Our prayers have been answered.

Mark: Maybe our whole group could come for the day?

Brenda: Well how about this. Yall go get your veterinarian friend and I'll prepare some dinner. A BIG FEAST for all you hungery souls. It'll be nice to have some folks helping out around here again. Danny, why don't you help me out in the kitchen.

Carley: Why don't I head back with the food and round everyone up for the trip back over here.

Andy: You should take someone with you. Remember those roads can be dangerous.

Carley: I can take care of myself.

Y/N: I can actually back that up. Most men would cower in fear of her.

Mark: Take this. *Gives Carley the sniper* Why don't you go ahead and take Ben along anyway.

Carley: Take care of yourself Lee. See you in a while.

Y/N: Oh wait I forgot to tell Carley something. I'll be back.

I run over to Carley to tell her my plan on how were gonna play this since Mark wanted to open his big fucking mouth about us having a vet.

Y/N: Carley wait a second. I need to tell you something.

Carley: What is it Y/N?

Y/N: Since Mark wanted to be a loud mouth and tell them about our vet I am going to need you and Ben to stay behind and watch after our place in case these people have others we don't know of yet. We will be back when dinner is done and we will try to bring something back for you and Ben. If were not back when we should be around night time since she will be making a lot of food so it might take all day. If were gone too long once it gets dark then you and Ben come back and check on us. Don't forget to set Doug's traps before you leave.

Carley: You got it Y/N. Be safe and have Lee's back for me would ya?

Y/N: Ok, so seriously what is going on with you?

Carley: What do you mean?

Y/N: Oh, come on now Carley don't play dumb with me. Throught the last 3 months you have been going back and forth betwenn Doug and Lee. Don't think I dind't see you 2 talking back there on the walk over here. I saw that blush too, so you can't deny it.

She blushes again hearing this and looks away.

Y/N: I may be a kid, but I know a lot more then most adults. Best thing for you to do is to just have a conversation with youself. You already had plenty with Doug and Lee, now you need to have one with yourself and figure out your feelings, because only you can figure that out and make that decision. I can sit here and tell you all the pros and cons to dating either of them, but no matter what or how much I say it's not gonna matter because their not my feelings. Their yours and yours only. When you get back have that talk with yourself and get that unnecessary stress out of your head, cause right now I need every abled body I can get with these people. I don't wanna sound harsh or mean, but I just want you to be ok and stable enough to make it out of this if there is an after all this.

Carley is just standing there in awe at what you just told her. She just couldn't believe that an 8 year old can speak at the level of most adults and his knowledge surpasses even some of those in their late 30's.

Carley: I never thought of it that way. I guess even sometimes an adult can learn a thing or two from a kid.

Y/N: I had to raise myself, so I took it upon myself and showed myself the ways of life. I never wanted be a rotting shithead to people. That's all my family. I do take some of their traits I ain't happy about, but I learn from them and embrace them because weather I like it or not, their apart of me. It's what makes me me, and I don't wanna Lose myself  like my parents did when they decided to have me.

Carley: Well I for one am glade I got to meet you Y/N and I think Lee and Clem feel the same way. Hell most people at the Motor Inn are glade to have meat you. You even got Larry of all people to thank somone other then himself and Lilly.

Y/N: I try the best as I can. Treat me how you want to be treated and I will do just that. Stay safe out there Carley.

Carley: You too Y/N.

With that we finally depart as I went back to Lee and Mark as they talked about what to do next.

Mark: If we play our cards right, this might turn out into a place we can stay. So how do you wanna play this.

Y/N: To be honest Mark I think only me and Lee should talk about this.

Mark: Why can't I have a say in this? I help just as much as the next guy.

Y/N: It's not that Mark I am just talking about the fact that your opening your big fucking mouth about our group when we barley even know these people. Since you have done that if we ever get into a fight with these people we know who they are going to target and keep alive and use them as leverage against us to kill us all. That's also not mentioning the fact that you are, so dead-set on living here already when we have only been here for 5 minutes. We don't know the rest of the area. What it's gonna take to keep this place safe. If these people are even friendly. AND NO WALLS!!!

Mark: We have an elecric fence.

Y/N: We also have bandits out in the forest with guns. You really think a fence can stop them from sniping us in the head from a distance. God forbid any of them are athetic and can hop right over this shit. Observe.

I then proceed to hop over the electric fence with ease as they both look shocked as I jump back over.

Y/N: The fence may be able to kill them, but that's only if their too dumb or unfortunate enough to touch it. It's only good for walkers and it's going to need people to look after it. Also what if a herd comes through here. Sure it will kill some of them, but the others could still walk or crawl over them without touching the fence if they knock the fence over. It also needs gas to keep it going, what if it gives when we need it.

Lee: Ok Y/N we get it slow down there bud.

Y/N: Well excuse me Lee for looking out for the group.

Lee: I can see that, but your pointing out every little detail like we can keep up with it all.

Y/N: Looks like common sense to me, but what else do I expect from Mark. Always talking when he shouldn't be when he's hungry.

Mark: I'm sorry Y/N.

Y/N: Is sorry gonna help keep the group safe or bring somone back from the dead that isin't this virus or whatever the hell it is? No so shut the fuck up and use your fucking head for once.

Lee: Ok Y/N that's enough. I think you made your point.

Y/N: You know I am right about this Lee.

Lee: I know you are, but you don't need to say it like that.

Y/N: What if Clem dies or gets hurt cause Mark over here can't learn to speak when it's needed.

This question seemed to have gotten Lee a little upseat as he then clenshes is hands into fists.

Lee: Y/N, thats enough. You need to go cool off somehere, find yourself something to do and we will discuss this later.

Y/N: Oh, so when I am right and look out for the group I am the one that needs to relax? Last I cheked where in the middle of the damn apocolypse and there ain't no cooling off. It only gets more heated from here, but fine. Anyone dies today their blood is on your's and Mark's hands.

I walk away full of steam and wanting to hit something. I find a punching bad hanging from a tree and it's just the thing I need to relese this anger I inherited from my father.

Y/N: I don't get how I am the one that needs time to think. It's Mark, who needs to use his head more. *Quick jabs and hooks followed by a roudhouse kick*
And his mouth less.

You then think back to when your dad once told you that nobody will ever like you or stand to listen to you because you talk too much and that's why your rap won't ever get anywhere. I then think back to what I said to Mark and Lee a few minutes ago. I look over at them as they talk Andy. They soon leave and I already know what's happening. They went to do a perimeter check and left me behind. Am I becoming my father? I felt disgusted saying some of those things to Mark and Lee even if  they were true. I felt my father coming out during that. I look back to the punching bag and saw my dads smug grin on it taunting me.

Dad: You will never amount to anything you worthless piece of shit.

Y/N: I'LL AMOUNT TO MORE THEN YOU COULD EVER DREAM OF, OH WAIT YOU CAN'T CAUSE YOUR DEAD YOU WASTE OF HUMAN SPACE!!! ALL YOU EVER GO IN LIFE WAS 97% BECAUSE THAT WAS ALL YOU COULD GET, AND I GOT 100 BECAUSE THATS ALL THERE WAS TO GET!!!

I punched the bag where my dad's face was so hard I punched right through the bag and the sand begins to pour out the bag as I take my hand out and watch the sand fall out. Andy and Danny decided to run to me and see what was going on.

Andy: Y/N are you ok?

Danny: What the hell is all the screaming abo-

They both see the punching bag then back at me.

Andy: Did you do that?

Y/N: Yea.

Danny: Goddamn kid. You got some strength don't ya.

Y/N: I work out, so no suprise there.

After that they lef to continue what they were doing while I decided to fix this broken swing on another tree that took a good 10 minutes to fix. Then out of nowhere Lee and Mark come running back with Mark having an arrow in his back.

Y/N: Oh my god, Lee. What the hell happened out there.

Lee: The electric fence turned on while we were fixing a fallen part of the fence and then those bandits from the woods earlier started shooting at us and we got stuck between them and the fence.

Danny: Holy shit are you ok.

Andy: I heard Mark yell and thought you guys were giving me the all clear. Man I am real sorry.

Wait a damn minute. I didn't hear Mark yell at all and even if he did wouldn't he yell all clear instead of just yelling? I don't like this one bit.

Brenda: Oh my lord! What happened to you sweetheart.

Andy: It was those bastards in the woods mama.

Mark: I'll be alright once it's out. Goddamn it hurts.

Kenny: Hey yall!

We see everyone from the group except Carley and Ben like I wanted walking on up from the drive just to see Mark with an arrow in his shoulder.

Katjaa: Mark. Oh my god what happened?

Lee: He got shot with an arrow.

Lilly: Christ are you gonna be ok!?

Mark: Yea I'll be alright. I should just-- pull it out.

Brenda: Oh no honey nuh uh come on Brenda has got you. Why don't you come inside now well get you all sorted out.

Katjaa and Brenda walk inside the house with Mark to hopefully get the arrow out of his shoulder.

Larry: What kind of shit is this?

Lee: We saw some people on the way up here. Bandits I guess, I think it was them who attacked us.

Andy: They gave us a bunch of problems in the beginning, killed a bunch of our farmhand. We were able to get them to stop by making a deal.

Kenny: You knew about these people?

Danny: Food for protection, like we had much of a choice, but they did stop hassling us.

Y/N: Well just a word of advise if your trying to make good with people they deserve evrything they need to know if it puts others a risk.

Danny: We will for sure next time. We just didn't think they would go this far to break a deal.

Y/N: Were in the middle of the apocolypse that have a bunch of madmen with guns. What else were you expecting confetti and rainbows with nothing but sunshine?

Larry: Goddamnit, Carley said this place was locked down tight.

Lee: Maybe it's not as safe as we thought it would be.

Andy: We're really sorry. We never had them screw us over like this! Not since we have been giving them food. Listen we may have had an agreement with those people, but we will not stand for this shit.

Danny: Ain't no way we gonna let those sons o' bitches get away with this.

Y/N: You know where these assholes are?

Danny: There hard to pin down, but I think I know where at least one of their camps are. When your ready to scope out that bandit camp come find us.

Lilly: Bandits are you serious? This place isint safe we can't stay here.

Kenny: Not safe? This place is a hell of a lot safer then that Motor Inn. I think all of us and our guns can handle a couple of punks with bows and arrows.

Kenny then looks at me after say that.

Kenny: Besides we have one of the smartest kids to ever grace this earth with the brains of einstein with us. I believe that if he tried he could probably take them all out without anyone knowing.

Hearing Kenny say that warms me up so much so that I just enexpectedly run up to him and hug him. He awkwardly hugs back, but I could tell he meant it.

Y/N: Thanks Kenny. That means to me more then you can ever think of.

Kenny: Anytime kid.

Andy: Hey kids look at what Y/N got working for ya.

He points to the swing that took me 10 minutes to fix and the smile on both of their faces made me really happy inside. I'm gald I could make a impact on their day somewhat in a good way.

Clem: A swing! I love swings, just like at my treehouse come on Duck! Thanks Y/N your the best!

Duck: YEA!

Once everything was said and done Andy and Danny went back to the front of the house. Clem, Kenny and Duck went to the swing while Lilly and Larry went to explore more of the farm. Lee then walks up to me.

Lee: You doing alright Y/N.

Y/N: What?

Lee: Uh I said are you alright Y/N?

Y/N: No I heard you, I am just saying what are you doing talking to me?

Lee: Because I am checking up on you making sure your ok.

Y/N: Are you sure your ok Lee?

Lee: Y/N what on earth are you on about?

Y/N: I just don't believe you. I don't believe your still looking out for me let alone talking to me.

Lee: Y/N I was never mad at you back there if that what this about.

Y/N: It has something to do with it. Usually when I get into arguments with people or when a conversation ends badly they don't usually ever come back to speak to me for a good long while or just ignore me all together.

Lee: I would never dream of doing that to either you or Clementine. Why would anyone wanna do that to a nice boy like you?

Y/N: Heh if my dad heard that you two would be fighting right now. I can't speak for other people because I am not them, but they have shown themselves to be low life degenerate douch bags who only cared about themeslves and whoever their trying to impress.

Lee: Well you don't ever have to worry about that with me or Clem. We care for you and only want what's best.

Y/N: Heard that once before. Turned out to be just another lie.

Lee: I promise Y/N that I will never abandon you like everbody else did.

Y/N: We will see Lee. Onto bigger things I need to speak with Clem to see if she is ok. Wanna come with?

Lee: Sure.

We then walked over to Clem, Kenny, and Duck as Clem waves at me as we walk up to them.

Ending it here cause I gotta go to work and I think this chapter is long enough. Over 2,000+ this time around. I now see how people write and get lost at where their typing.
