Y/N's POV

I have been in the RV with Carley for some time now and we also completly forgot that Mark was even with us. He has just been passed out in the back of the RV this whole time. I guess all this stress has really gotten to him. Me and. Carley had a very pleasant conversation on what happened. Yea I was a stubborn hard ass at the beginning, but Carley just has such a way with words that she can almost easily calm me down. Almost. Anyway after a while we wake up Mark and we all exit the RV to find out that the train works and it leads us to exactly where we need to go. Savannah. We also met an old guy named Chuck. Charles if your fancy. Normally I would get an off vibe from strangers, especially ones who looks skeptical, but for some reason. I felt nothing but good vibes around him. Like he is trustworthy and that we won't have to worry about him turning his back on us like my cousin's so called shithead friends. At least we still have Max. His medical skills will help us for a long time, but I should talk to him when I have the chance to learn a thing or two about the medical field. Can't be to sure that he will live for a while longer. Better safe then sorry. We are all currently sitting in the boxcar in the back while Kenny, Katjaa, and Duck are in the front watching the tracks controlling the train. Me and Clem are sitting dangling our feet off the train as we watch all the trees and bushes fly past us.

Chuck: It must be hard trying to take care of 4 kids in a world like this with not having much supplies. No disrespect son.

He says this while looking at Ben as he hangs his head down a little annoyed.

Lee: There where more of us.

Chuck: Dead get em?

Carley: Well we believe one of them did, but where not too sure.

Chuck: Ahhhh, so the living got the rest of them.

Y/N: I had to kill two of them.

Everyone looks at me shocked at what I just said.

Aiden: Y/N.

Max: But Aiden said he killed them.

Y/N: He shouldn't have lied, cause he knows I ain't afraid to admit what I have done. So you still have the nerve to not trust me hu Aiden?

Aiden: Y/N I--

Y/N: Just save it Aiden. You have already caused enough damage for one day and I've done enough for one day. So just zip it and leave me the fuck alone. When I want to speak with you I'll let you know.

Aiden hangs his head down ashamed it's come to this between you. He should have thought about that before saying the shit he said back there. Then nobody else, but me noticed Chuck whisper something in Clem's ear then went to leave the Boxcar making his way to the front. I decide to follow him and ask him myself what he told Clementine. I make it to the front and Chuck is on the outside, so I go outside with him, but before I did I see Duck sticking his head out the side window with a huge smile on his face with his mouth wide open as we had just knocked a walker off the tracks and got sent flying. (Doesen't this sound familiar?)

(Just replace Lee with Katjaa and Ben with Chuck)

I then walked up to Chuck as he leaned on the railing in front of us. He sees me and has a smile on his face.

Y/N: What?

Chuck: Y/N L/N. Your uncle would be proud at the survivor and man you have became.

Y/N: You know my uncle?

Chuck: He's like a brother to me. We have been through it all together. We used to run together in the Military long ago. It's how we both learned to survived out in the wild. We got bombed and our whole platoon got whipped out. We had a mole in our ranks and it costed us dearly. We managed to get out of it, but not without some battle scars.

Y/N: My uncle did mention some war stories, but never really mentioned you.

Chuck: I told him not to reveal who I am because I wanted to tell you myself. So you'd have more trust in me.

Y/N: He mentioned a code word for you incase if I ever ran into you. Do you know what I'm referring to?

Chuck: On 3. 1.

Y/N: 2.

Both: 3. Velociraptor!

Y/N: *Stomps foot down* WHAT!?!?

Chuck: Did we just become best friends?

Y/N: YUP!

Chuck: Do you wanna train Clem to shoot a gun?

Y/N: YUP!

(Did anyone get the refrence?)

Anyway I was just about to leave and tell Lee that Clem needs to start learning how to use a gun like me. I could use the training myself, but before I reached for the door it was already opened by Lee who seemed pissed and had an unamused look on his face.

Lee: *Looks at Chuck crossing his arms* Hey.

Cuck: How you doing?

Lee: Tell me exactly what you have to me asshole.

Chuck: Excuse me?

Lee: Clementine. I'm talking about Clementine. You went up to her and told her she's gonna end up dead.

Y/N: He's not wrong Lee.

Lee then looks at me shocked at what I just said.

Lee: How can you side with him? We just met this guy, besides what does he know?

Y/N: He knows more then you can imagine, because this guy right here was my uncle's right hand man in the war. The same uncle who taught me everything I know.

Chuck: And I know just as much as he does. I may not know much about you folks but I can guarantee you as sure the sun comes up tomorrow if yall keep going on like this, that girl ain't gonna make it. The only one here who can survive out in this world is Y/N. I also know that you don't even have a goddamn plan we get to Savannah and then what?

Lee: We find a boat.

Y/N: And have you and Kenny actually discussed on where exactly we're going to find one of those? Plus we have been in this apocolyps for months now, I'm more than 110% sure that all those boats that are at the riverfront are either all gone or stripped for parts. We'd have to be like the luckiest people in the apocalypse to find one that's even close to being functional enough in some shed or sun shit.

Chuck: I agree with Y/N see this is why you all should start listening to him more, cause after that little squabble he had with his cousin it sounds like he wasent listening to anything he said and ended up regretting saying a few words to him.

Y/N: You are correct Chuck.

Chuck: Anyway find a map for christ sake I'd give you one if I had it and if something where to happen to you--

Lee: It won't.

Y/N: Lee you can't be like that. Your only one man. You can't be at multiple places at once and your not immortal. So if something where to happen to you she needs to be prepared for when the time comes when she is all alone like she was at the beginning before we both found her. She got lucky cause she was in a treehouse and the numbers on walkers were just starting to grow. God knows how many walkers are out there now. There's probably a whole hoard following us right now cause this train ain't exactly discrete. So with that being said Clem needs to know how to shoot a gun and as much as I don't want to, but that hair has got to go.

Chuck: Y/N is right again about her hair.. You got her running around with a mop with all these many hands swinging its way. Find some scissors in my pack and take care of that hair before a walker does it for you. And like Y/N said show her how to use a gun, because weather we like it or not it's what keeps us alive from here on out. I don't mean to tell you how to do your job. But too many people have died already.

Lee: Yea your not wrong there.

Chuck: And seeing a little girl die might just oh, do me in. I'd like a drink you know.

Lee: Yea.

Chuck: Got any?

Lee: No.

Chuck: Darn.

Y/N: You are most definitely my uncle's friend. You sound just like him.

Chuck: And you sound just like Y/N.

Y/N: That's because I am.

Chuck: Exactly.

Y/N: Your weird.

Chuck: Aren't we all?

Lee: I'm not weird.

Y/N: I say otherwise. Your weird whenever your around Carley, mister Casanova.

Lee looks away embarrassed, but quickly brushes it off.

Y/N: Anyway I'm gonna go check on Clem. Whenever your ready to show her how to shoot Lee you know where we are.

Lee: Ok. See you later Y/N.

Y/N: Thanks for the talk Chuck. I hope to get to know you better.

Chuck: Same here Y/N. See ya kid.

I make my leave and decided to teach Clem some more Spanish.

*Timeskip*

25 minutes later

I've been teaching Clem more Spanish and she's getting the hang of it pretty quickly actually. Yea she still struggles a little here and there, but she's already coming a long way.

Y/N: quiero dar un paseo?

Clem: Ummmmmmm.

Y/N: Come on you know this one.

Clem: Oh I got it. *Clears throat* Por qué sí me encantaría dar un paseo.

Y/N: Gran trabajo Clem

Clem: Gracias Y/N.

Y/N: de nada Clem.

We both then laugh as she leans on my shoulder. I smile at this and hold my arm around her.

Y/N: How have you been doing Clem?

Clem: It's been scary, but I always feel safe with you around. It's like your my guardian angle.

Y/N: I'm a lot of things, but an angle is not one of them. A guardian sure I'll take that, but I am far from an angle.

Clem: Your my angle just like I said.

You feel your heart warm up hearing this. This girl is really something else. I have to protect her at all costs. I know I can't be there forever, but I'll be there when I can. We stay like this for a while until Lee finally comes up to us.

Lee: How you doing guys?

Y/N and Clem: Hey Lee.

Y/N: JINX you owe me 2 buds.

Clem: Are you ever gonna tell me what that even is?

Y/N: Like I said before you will know when your older.

Clem: Then how come you know what it is?

Y/N: Because my parents where irresponsible pieces of shits who couldn't hide shit for shit.

Clem: 3 shares.

Y/N: Awww come on Clem.

Clem then laughs.

Clem: Dork

Y/N: Geek.

We then both laugh together. Clem then looks at Lee.

Chuck: Did you talk to him?

Lee: Yea he uhhhh explained himself and made some good points along with Y/N here. Look where not gonna let anything bad happen to you, but there are some precautions we gotta take.

Clem: Ok yea that makes sense.

Y/N: Me and Lee are gonna help you form a plan and tidy you up a little, so you can't get grabbed so easily.

Clem: I'd like that.

Y/N: Good.
