Lee's Pov

It's now been a few weeks since the Dairy and it's actually not been too difficult except for the occasional screaming matches between Lily and Kenny, plus those bandits still being out there giving us hell, but they have been quiet for days now.

Lee: Hey Aiden, anything while on watch yet?

Aiden: Still nothing. Haven't heard anything from Jericho or Clyde yet. Hopefully they get back before dark.

Ever since Y/N's cousin Aiden and his group joined up with us, things have been a whole lot easier with them around. This Tromane guy they keep mentioning also trained Aiden on how to survive out here and even served as a Marine. He knows his way with weapons and vehicles. He's been helping Kenny with the RV and agrees with Kenny's plan on leaving the Motor Inn behind and heading to Savanah to find a boat or at the very least find someplace better then here.

Lee: Alright well I'm gonna go check in on everyone. Catch ya later Aiden.

Aiden: Wait hold on Lee. I got a question to ask.

Lee: What is it?

Aiden: ...How bad did she do you and are you still a decent person after that?

Lee: ...

Aiden: ...

Lee: What do you me-

Aiden: Come on Lee, you and I both know what I am getting at. Or do I have to say it out loud?

Lee: I was on my way to class, but I felt sick, so I canceled and went home and found her with someone else, killed him. I was just, so mad I didn't realize what I had done before it was too late. As for your second question I believe I'm decent enough to where I've been taking care of 2 children that aren't my own send kept they safe, fed and watered as best as I can for the last 3 months.

Aiden: That's all I needed to hear Lee. Where straight. I can't thank you enough for looking after Y/N. Killer or not, your a good person Lee. You should tell other people about this, so other people will feel the same. I already told Y/N and he said he could care less, you cared and looked after him better then his own parents can.

Lee: Thanks Aiden. That means a lot.

Aiden: No Lee. Thank you.

With that I was about to make my leave to check on Clem before Aiden says one last thing.

Aiden: Last night he admitted he already saw you as his father figure.

This stopped me in my tracks as I looked back at him wide eyed not believing what I just heard. Y/N already sees me as his father figure? We haven't even known each other for a whole year and yet he already trusts me that much. I'm truly touched by that as I finally say something back.

Lee: Well I am just glade that I am able to give, him a second chance of having a real parent.

Aiden: Best second chance he could ever hope for.

We finally leave him to his guardwatch duties as I look to find Clementine and Y/N laughing with each other while scribbling on some paper as I approached them.

Lee: Hey there Clementine. Y/N.

Both: Hey Lee.

Y/N: JINX you owe me a bud.

Clem: What's a bud?

I was about to say something, but Y/N beat me to it.

Y/N: You will find out when your older, but for now I'll keep it on your tab.

Clem: *Giggles* Dork.

Y/N: Geek.

Clem: *Playfully* How dare you.

Y/N: How dare I? How dare thy try to humiliate thou big man's?

Clem: What?

Y/N: Be mindful I can be cringe at times.

Clem: Still gonna call you a dork.

Y/N: Still gonna call you a geek.

Clem: I don't have glasses tho.

Y/N: And I ain't socially awkward. (I wish I wasen't in real life 😅😅)

Clem: Fair enough, dork.

Y/N: Geek.

I smile and snicker at their friendly bickering back and forth. Almost seems like a couple........ ALMOST.

Lee: Well anyway just wanted to check up on you guys make sure your doing alright.

Y/N: We appreciate Lee and I know my cousin Aiden does too.

I then leave them to their things while I went a checked on everyone else.

Y/N's Pov.

Lee had just left us as me and Clem continue to do this leaf rubbing thing she learned to do when her teacher took her to a garden for a field trip. It's actually really something that you can make an easy leaf without actually drawing it. Clem then asks me a question knocking me out of my thoughts.

Clem: So you know another language?

Y/N: Yea it's called Spanish. I never really told anyone about it cause 1 I didn't see any sense, since nobody here would understand me and 2 there was no reason to tell anyone.

Clem: I think it's cool you can speak a whole other language.

Y/N: I can teach you, you know. I mean if you want to of course. I cant guarantee it will be easy, but I will help you every step of the way.

Clem: I'd like that.

Y/N: Cool. Mind if we start right now?

Clem: I don't see why not.

I then took the chalk and started writing some basic words in Spanish for her to practice pronouncing before we get started on full sentences.

Y/N: Alright I want you to pronounce some of these words to the best of your ability.

She looks at the 5 words I have written in spanish and takes a minute to probably say it to herself before saying it out loud. She takes a few minutes before she finally tries to pronounce one of the words.

Clem: Ro-R-Rojo.

Y/N: Very good Clem. Rojo means the color Red. (My favorite color btw) Try another.

Clem: Hola.

Y/N: That one means hi.

Clem: Gracias.

Y/N: Thanks.

Clem: cam-camin-antes.

Y/N: Now see that one means walkers, but I don't think it's appropriate to call them that in spanish.

Clem: What would be better then that?

Y/N: Hmmmmmmmmmm.

I think for a minute as I remembered a holiday that takes place in Mexico and there is one word in the holiday name that catches my attention.

Y/N: Muertos.

Clem: Muertos?

Y/N: There is holiday that is celebrated in Mexico where they honor the dead. They called this holiday Dia de los Muertos the day of the dead. Muertos to me sounds more fitting don't you think.

Clem nods her head as she looks at the final word which shook her for a second, but continues to say the word.

Clem: Clementina?

Y/N: That's your name in spanish.

This causes her to blush a little, but also giggled at me for putting her name as one of her first words to learn in Spanish.

Clem: This is why your a dork.

Y/N: You still love my dorky side you geek.

Clem: That I do.

We continued practicing more words until now we had just noticed that we were under attack by the same bandits who have been giving us shit for weeks now. They held all of us at gun point as we where all lined up and on our knees. Lee comes out of Lily's room trying to ease the situation.

Lee: We have more supplies. We can keep the deal going.

Deal? What deal is he talking about?

Bandit #1: TOO LATE SHITHEAD! WE AINT GIVING SECOND CHANCES!

Lee: It was a mixup well make it worth your while.

Bandit #1: I'M Listening.

Lee: We can split the supplies. Spead them around.

Bandit #1: OR WE COULD JUST KILL YOU AND TAKE IT ALL!!!

Lee: And what about when they run out? When you don't have us out there collecting them for you.

This causes the Bandit to calm down and lower his gun speaking in a more calm tone, but obviously still a little irritated.

Bandit #1: Well, I suppose we outta hash out some terms then.

Bandit #2: I don't like no hash.

Bandit #1: MAN Shut up or I'l-

Before he finishes his sentence he gets shot in the head by Lily who seems to be posted up around a corner on the second floor with her rifle. Carley quickly grabs the bandit's gun and shoots 2 more in the head and tries to shoot the 3rd one but runs out of ammo and everyone runs behind cover while Lee tries to kill the 3rd Bandit. He hits his ass 2ice but it wasen't enough to stop him from calling in the rest of his crew with a whistle.

One by one they come into the Motor Inn surrounding us and shooting at us. We all managed to hide behind cover. I was with Ben, Doug and Carley on one side with Mark, Aiden and Lee behind the RV providing covering fire and Clementine with Duck and Katjaa on the other side. I tried to make my way to Clem to protect her, but there was too many bullets flying around. I'd get shot easily before I can even reach her. Just gotta hope Lee, Mark, and Aiden can take care of them quickly so you can go help Clem.

Jericho  and Clyde still haven't returned yet from Macon on the supply run, we could really use their help right about now. As if right on que I start to see bandits just randomly falling from their cover and out on the right side I see them enter Motor Inn, but they don't seem angry or worried on what's happening. They look a little too calm with what's happening right now. I decide to brush it off for now as we are in the middle of a fire fight. Gotta stay focused, but that doesen't mean my focus on them has vanished. I got my eyes on them cause something feels off here.

Lee: BEN, CARLEY, Y/N LET'S GO!

I noticed it's clear for us to head to the RV but instead of going in I immediately go to Clem behind cover.

Aiden: Y/N what the fuck are you doing!?!?!

I ignore him as I take out an M9 and started shooting at the Bandits. My aim isint perfect but their only human so I can hit them anywhere I please to leave them weak and vulnerable enough to get Clem, Duck, and Katjaa outta this mess.

Aiden: Wait where di-- *Checks gun holster to find his M9 gone* Hehehe you slick little shit Y/N.

With the help of Aiden and Lee we cleared them all out, so we can get out of cover safely. Just as Duck and Kat where about to head to the RV a walker pops up outta nowhere, but my fast reflexes kicked in causing me to stick the barrel of the M9 in it's mouth but when I pulled the trigger only a click noise went off causing the walker to fall on top of me as I feel my head hit something really hard to the point where blood started oozing out my head, but he can't really bite anything with the barrel in his mouth. Without any other option I take out my uncle's knife and stab the walker in the head with all the strength I had left after taking that blow to the head. Katjaa helps me up as we get into the RV.

Lee: LILY LAST CHANCE GET DOWN HERE!!!

Lily is the last in the RV as Kenny floors it out of the Motor Inn.

Kenny: JESUS KAT ARE YOU ALRIGHT!?!?!

Kat: I'm fine! I'm fine!

Mark: Oh my god we actually got out of there.

Ben: Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit! I'm sorry.

Carley: Everything's fine Ben.

Lily: Everything is not fine. We need to find out who caused this. We lost everything.

Kenny: Well where lucky as shit to have this RV.

Clyde: And nobody died.

Doug: Suprisingly.

Aiden: Y/N'S HEAD IS SPLIT OPEN!!!

Y/N: Don't take it out on Caley Aiden. I'm fine anyhow. This head injury is on me, nobody else. I couldn't just sit back and let my people get hurt.

Kat looks back at me and gives me a warm yet regretful smile.

Aiden: I get that Y/N, but christ your still just a kid you shouldn't be risking your life like that.

Y/N: Just stop Aiden I see what your trying to do. I ain't nothing like other kids, and our group is basically on it's last leg, so the group needs every bit of help it can get and if I can provide it then I will weather you like it or not. And don't use that your still just a kid act, it's not gonna change my mind or the minds of all those crazy people like the ones we just encountered. They don't give 2 shits if I was any younger or older they would still treat me the same they have treated everyone else. Now that that's been said, Max can you please come look at this?

Max: Let me take out my First Aid Kit.

He takes out the First Aid Kit and takes me to the table at the back of the RV to patch up my head.

Mark: Let's all just calm down for a second before we discuss anything else.

Doug: I agree.

Lee's Pov

While Max patches up Y/N's head Lily explained to everyone about supplies being stolen and given to the bandits and basically proceeds to the throw the finger at everyone even Aiden. Y/N, Clem, and me are the only people she believes had nothing to do with it. While the arguing continued Kenny seemed to have hit something forcing us to stop on the side of the road.

Lee: Kenny is it safe?

Kenny: Should be.

Lily: Everybody out.

Lee: Lily...

Lily: OUT.

We all exit the RV except for Y/N and Clem who stand right at the door.

Lily: Kenny the RV has some surface damage, but there is a walker trapped underneath.

Kenny: *Looks under the RV* Goddamnit. Everybody keep your eyes peeled.

Lily: You know what we should see what everyone thinks of this.

Ben: I think you should chill out.

Carley: I'm not gonna take this.

Aiden: Neither will I.

Clyde: You can push Ben around, but you can push us around.

Doug: Besides what good will figuring out who did it now when everything is already gone.

Jericho: Yea and I doubt you don't even have any evidence to even prove that anybody did it.

Lily: I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm starting to think maybe it was Aiden, Jericho, and Carley.

Y/N: NO! My cousin would never do that.

Lee: Carley is trustworthy she's not a traitor Lily!

Carley: Thank you Lee!

Lily: I didn't just come up with this, I've had my suspicions.

Y/N: Then tell me right now what you got to go on about my cousin stealing supplies.

Just before Y/N could hear her say anything Katjaa calls her over.

Kat: Y/N can you come here for a second.

Y/N: Don't think your off the hook. I better hear a good ass reason as to why my cousin would steal from us which I doubt you have any.

Y/N goes to Kat as we continue this heated argument.

Jericho: I agree with the kid, and I'm just as curious to hear as to why you'd suspect me.

Lily: Well you two always seem to be together discussing about something that you never share with the rest of the group and it's always around the same time, probably when the bandits drop off a list of supplies that they need and you discuss on how to smuggle it out without anyone noticing. You two clearly have the skill to do that. While Carley here seems to always keep to herself until once everyone is either distracted or asleep she has access to the supplies we got and is always curious as to what we bring back from the supply runs.

Aiden: This is ridiculous! Why would I do that when we all know I would be putting my own cousin in danger.

Lily: I don't know. Maybe because you don't really care about him.

Aiden: WHY YOU LITTLE SHIT!

Aiden tries to grab Lily, but Max and Clyde hold him back.

Max: Relax Aiden she ain't worth it dude.

Clyde: Just let her talk her ridiculous nonsense. She ain't got shit on you guys.

This is enough to calm him down as Kenny finally gets the walker out from under the RV.

Kenny: There, I got him.

Ben: Lets just get back into the RV.

Lily: That's not happening.

Carley: You think your some tough bitch don't you, like nothing can hurt you, but your just a scared little girl. Get the fuck over it. Take a page from Lee's Y/N's and his cousin's book and actually try helping somebody for once.

We all turned as we heard Kenny smash in the walker's head.

Kenny: Now what the fucks the problem--

Clem: NO!

Lily was about to shoot Carley until--

*BAM*

Doug pushed Carley out the way leaving him with a bullet hole in his head. I quickly reacted by grabbing her wrist with the hand that was holding the gun as I spoke to her in a deep intimidating voice.

Lee: Drop It!

She drops the gun as the rest look on in shock seeing what had just transpired. Y/N quickly came out to see what happened.

Y/N: WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON OUT HERE AND WHO THE FUCK IS SHOOTING WHILE WHERE OUT HERE WITH ONLY AN RV TO PROTECT US!?!?!?!?!?!?!

He then sees Doug's body on the floor with the bullet hole in his head leaving Y/N stunned at the site as he looks to see me holding Lily against the RV. I'm pretty sure it doesn't take rocket science for him to figure out what happened. He had the most angriest look I have ever seen him make. Oh boy.

Kenny: Holy fuck.

Kat: Kenny! What's going on out there?

Kenny: Keep Duck away from the windows Jesus Christ. GET IN WHERE LEAVING THIS CRAZY BITCH!!!

Lily: She can't, be trusted Lee I sware, PLEASE.

Carley: I CANT BE TRUSTED!?!? EVEN IF THAT WAS TRUE HOW CAN ANYONE TRUST YOU ANYMORE AFTER WHAT YOU JUST TRIED TO PULL! DOUG IS DEAD NOW BECAUSE OF YOUR BABY BACK BITCH ASS EMOTIONS GETTING THE BETTER OF YOU! EVEN Y/N HAS BETTER SELF CONTROL OVER HIS EMOTIONS THEN YOU AND HES ONLY 8 YEARS OLD!!!

Y/N: I agree with Carley! You are done as far as I'm concerned. Your a murder and we can't can't you with us if where all expecting another bullet outta nowhere from you!

Lily: I'M A MURDERER!?!? You've had Lee with you this whole time!

Kenny: Well we don't care about what he did before!

Kenny: Yea he told all of us and I don't give a shit, if we keep you with us how long until you get ME!

Lily: I don't have anything left.

We all where taken aback to his sudden outburst because he seemed to have a menacing growl in his voice when he said that.

Y/N: So lemme process this. Your saying that just because you lost ✌🏾"Everything"✌🏾 YOU THINK THAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO LASH OUT ON THE ONLY THING CLOSEST TO FAMILY YOU GOT LEFT AND SHOOT THEM BECAUSE OF A SUSPICION YOU HAVE NO PROOF OF AND YOU CALL THE PROTECTING US!?!?!? LIKE IT WAS JUSTIFIED!?!?! YOU ARE A WORTHLESS SCUMBAG WHO ONLY THINKS OF THEMSELVES WHILE AT THEIR LOWEST! MY PARENTS HAVE BEEN LIKE THAT FOR YEARS AND HAVE TAKEN IT OUT ON ME EVER SINCE I WAS BORN! With that I let Lily go as she leaves us into the woods to fend for herself.

Y/N: We should bury Doug. I'd feel fucked up leaving him on the side of the road like this. The least we can do is give him a proper burial.

Aiden: I agree with you little cuz. I'm sure he'd love that.

Clyde: I managed to grab a shovel while we where at Macon. Glade I decided to take it.

Max: I'll go inside and check in on Katjaa and Duck.

Lee: Everyone else but Y/N and Clem should stay out here and keep a lookout until Doug is buried.

They all nod in agreement. Once Doug was buried and everyone said what they needed to say we hopped back in the RV and continued down the road. Aiden, Max, Jericho, and Clyde sat on the table in the back of the RV while Ben, Carley, Y/N and Clem sat on the couch. There wasent much room left so I decided to stay standing up or I could just sit on the floor. Yeah I'll do that. I sat on the floor in front of Clem and Y/N as I placed my hand on her left knee to comfort her while Y/N had his arm wrapped around her.

Lee: It's gonna be ok Clem.

Y/N: I should have been there. Maybe I could have stopped her. I know my uncle would have been able to.

Lee: Y/N your only one person who is still very young. You can't can't everywhere at once and you can't always save them all. Im sorry, but that's just what happens sometimes.

Y/N: I promise on my grave that I will never let that happen to Clem. EVER!

Don't make promises you can't keep Y/N.

Lee: Y/N.

Clem: Well I believe him. He hasn't given me any reason to not believe in him. He's help me so much since the start.

Clem looks like she wants to say something, but seems to be struggling, so I help her out.

Lee: If something is on your mind Clem you can tell us.

Clem looks at Y/N with a very heart warming smile causing Y/N cheeks to glow a little red as he braces himself for what Clem has to say to him.

Clem: I trust you with my life Y/N and I mean that sincerely from deep down within my everlasting soul.

This causes a few tears roll down Y/N's face as he smiles back at Clem giving her an unexpected hug, but she hugs back quickly not wanting to let go. We hear everyone aweing at them including me which causes them to quickly let of eachother and look away slightly blushing a little.

Y/N: Th-Thanks Clem. That really means a lot coming from you especially. You have been the kindest person to me that's my age ever since I was even born. Where I lived I distanced myself because I didn't see the point in making friends, since they only used me to get clout and then immediately throw me under the bus, but your different. I just wanna deep down from the bottom of my heart that I really care about you Clem. I've never cared for anyone like this other than my uncle and my cousin. Everyone has a special someone that they care deeply for...... Well Clem congratulations you just became my special someone that I care deeply for.

Clem hears this with tear filled eyes as she smiles throught that whole thing. We all smile at what he said because it was very sweet and that last bit was actually pretty charming. He's gonna be one hell of a Casanova when he grows up.

Carley: I think we all need a little something to help us all cope with what just happened.

Aiden: I agree.

Max, Clyde, and Jericho nod in agreement.

Kenny: Just try not to sing anything that will make me fall asleep on the road.

Y/N: You got it Kenny.

Y/N clears his throat as we prepare ourselves for another song.
