You and the girls walk through the forest while avoiding anything that might be dangerous like Gaint plants with sharp cartoonish teeth that tried to bite your face, thankfully though you were able to escape unscathed with the help of Scarlet and Kaite who distracted it by throwing some fruit about the size of you're head at the hungry planet, but that was in the past right now you and the girls were trying to find where this Hermit guy lives which begs the question...

(Y/N): Where does this Hermit guy live anyways? Does he live in a hut or a cave?

You asked and what Scarlet give as an answer was not something you expected.

Scarlet: He lives in a Castle.

She answered to your surprise " What type of Hermit lives in a Castle!? " You though as Kaite looked up to see one of the towers of the Hermit's home.

Kaite: We're almost there!

She stated out loud and as you and the girls grew closer the air around you started to get a bit colder, But not in an uncomfortable way as it felt kinda nice to feel a slight cool breeze after walking for a while and you and the girls made it to the front door of the castle and you noticed that the castle was old and a little decrypted from the outside at least " Man, why would anyone live in a crumbling building... Seems awful dangerous to me." As you thought this both of the girls were trying to find a way in which proved fruitless as there was no leaver or secret switch to open the rather large doors.

Kaite: Who makes a castle without a way to get in!?

She shouted in frustration and Scarlet let out a sigh as she shared the same disposition.

Scarlet: Someone that clearly doesn't want visitors.

She stated as you walked up to the door and think for a moment " Hmm I wonder... " You ball your hand up in a fist and gently knock on the door and for a moment nothing happens.

(Y/N): Well it was worth-

The door starts to slowly open which surprised both you and the girls.

(Y/N):...a shot...

You quietly said to yourself as you started to slowly back up as the doors opened inward as to avoid anything potentially flying towards you or something along those lines, however, what you and the girls saw was not what any of you were expecting.

(Y/N): Is that... Normal?

You asked hoping that it wasn't normal because if it was then it begs the question of what a house looks like on the inside, however, Kaite's answer relived you somewhat at least.

Katie: N-no, This isn't anything like I've seen before and I've seen Queen Bowser grow bigger than a castle.

When she said that this Queen Bowser can grow bigger than a castle you understandably looked like someone just told you that a toddler held the button to a nuclear bomb that's under your house " Well then, I sure as hell hope I don't run into that lady down a dark alley... Or anywhere at all. " You thought as you see something moved and you looked moving object and say a teddy bear waving at the three of you.

Scarlet: Oh. My. God... IT'S SO CUTE!!!

Scarlet shouted making your ears ring a little and she eagerly jogged towards the teddy bear and watched it do some rather impressive tricks for a stuffed animal as did Kaite, but while they watched in awe you were very warry of the moving plushie " I sware to god if its that SCP that collects human ears I'm kicking it into that incoherent Labyrinth of stairs as if it was a football. " You mentally stated as the teddy bear looked at you and started to wave at you as if it was beckoning you to come in and you let out a sigh.

(Y/N): This better not be a trap...

You quietly said to yourself as you walk towards the door and as you and the girls cross the threshold of the large doors said doors began to close behind you and before you knew it the doors close with a faint click " Well there's no going back now... At least right this second. " You mentally said with a notable unwary tone as the bear guided you and the girls through the labyrinth and after a few twists and turns the teddy bear lead you to a rather elegant looking wooden door and in the center of the door was a decorative label with equally elegant writing on it... Library the label displayed and the teddy bear started to pull said door by a little latch on the bottom of the door and amazingly managing to open it with surprising ease " Ok, how in the shitting hell does a teddy bear opening a fucking wooden door like it was god damn nothing while I can't lift a shelve to save my life!? " You mentally shouted within your mind as you didn't want to upset the seemingly strong stuffed plushie and you heard a voice just around the corner of the door.

???: Welcome to my humble abode, please do come in, but be mindful of the mess... I have been rather busy organizing the library...

The voice spoke with a tolerable posh tone and as you and the girls entered the room you immediately noticed that the library was rather massive as it had bookshelves so high none of you could see the top of them and they were seemingly endless as well as they practically go on for miles on end and as the girls look on at the impossible amount of books before them in awe you can't help but ask a question.

(Y/N): How long does it take to organize all of these!?

After you said that the same voice from earlier cleared its voice making you and the girls turn towards the origin of the sound to see a rather pale man with black hair in an almost entirely black outfit with a notable exception for the tie he was wearing which was a royal blue and he looked up from the old tome he was reading with his light blue eyes.

Jokotsu: A few hours if you can believe it, my names Jokotsu, I am a Mage by trade and this collection of books is my life's work...

He paused for a moment in order to close the old and rather large tome in his lap in order to set it on a desk to the side that was nearly covered with smaller books.

Jokotsu: But my collection of books is not why you came here is it? No, you three have some questions that need answering... I'm I correct?

Both you and the girls had a look of surprise as the three of you hadn't even announced your intentions yet.

Kaite: U-uh... Can you tell us what (Y/N) is?

She asked nervously praying to the great mushroom lords that Jokotsu can't read minds as she has been thinking about some... Odd things and Jokotsu let out a light chuckle as he picked up a nearby empty cup of tea.

Jokotsu: You need not fear if I can read your minds...

You, Scarlet, and Kaite let out a sigh of relief... Until he continued what he was saying which immediately made everyone nervous again.

Jokotsu: Even though I am fully capable of doing so, but to answer your question (Y/N) is a human.

That answer somewhat confused them somewhat, however, their confusion would soon be replaced by surprise with what Jokotsu said next.

Jokotsu: He is also known as a Star Child... Which is what some people around the mushroom kingdom call Maria as well.

After he said that Kaite and Scarlet looked at you as you were some mythical beast, however, there was a lingering question within your mind about Maria which might explain her strange behavior.

(Y/N): Ok... So what does me and Maria being a Star Child mean and what does it have to do with Maria's strange behavior back at home?

You asked wanting to know if Maria has been doing something you and Luigia's had no idea about and Jokotsu just chuckles as the teacup within his hand starts to fill up seemingly on its own.

Jokotsu: You may want to sit down for this as it is a... Rather lengthy tail.

Chibi A/N: Woah! So that's what Jokotsu's castle looks like on the inside!

A/N: Somewhat... For those of you who don't know as this may be the first time you have even heard about him, Jokotsu is somewhat of a recurring character in my stories and so far he has appeared within most of my works.

Chibi A/N: Just like Heckter! Who is also a recurring character! However, they're both very different from each other as one is Insanely good a magic and is very... Very old and the other is just as old but isn't very savvy in the magical arts.

A/N: However Heckter is still very intelligent with how he uses magic, but enough of that! get back to the story!

Deep within the woods was a clearing and in the clearing were two girls who were getting annoyed at their friend's absence... One of these girls was named Gabriela and she let out a slightly annoyed grown.

Gabriela: Why do Scarlet and Kaite have to be late?

She asked in no one in particular but she still got an answer from her friend Petunia who was to be daydreaming about... Lewd things until Gabriela said something.

Petunia: I don't know.

She said while shrugging and Gabriela let out a sight grown " She's probably thinking about boys again... " She thought and Petunia look towards her direction and tilted her head a bit.

Petunia: Hey Gabriela can I ask you a question?

Gabriela looked at her with a raised eyebrow as she expected her to start daydreaming again.

Gabriela: Yeah, What is it?

She answered and Petunia pointed towards something behind her.

Petunia: Is that monster behind you really there or I'm I having a mental breakdown?

Gabriela had a shocked look on her face and she turned around to see something the looked like it came straight out of a mental patients nightmare as the Monster hiding within the outer treeline of the forest had a mostly featureless white body besides the gaping maw it has for a chest which had rows upon rows of sharp and jagged teeth lining the inside of its chest and it twitched as if it was possessed by a demon.

Chibi A/N: Well shit! That didn't take long to go into full nightmare fuel territory for this story didn't it!?

A/N: Shhh! I'll explain it in time just no right now!

Chibi A/N: Ugh! Fine!

Gabriela: WHAT IN THE NAME OF THE MUSHROOM OVERLORDS IS THAT!?!?

She shouted clearly alarmed by the terrifying beast which has started to walk towards the while constantly twitching and Petunia decide to let out a sigh of relief.

Petunia: Oh good it's not just me then...

After she said that she then turned around and began to run for her life as Gabriela hopped off the rock she was sitting on faster than she ever thought she could move, and right as she began to book it as fast as humanly possible the rock she was sitting on got smashed into tiny pieces by the monster who shortly after smashing the rock with an incredible amount of strength started to chase the girls at inhuman speed's " Oh dear lord that thing is fast! " She thought as the monster started to gain on her, however just as the monster was about to snatch up Gabriela and most likely eat her someone in a cloak dashed towards the monster and stopped it from reaching Gabriela who looked back towards the monster and says what the robed figure weapon they were using to fend off the beast...

(I don't own this, it belongs to "Spearmasters" I believe Judging from the stamp from the photo... I also don't own Final Fantasy, I just thought this is a cool weapon and I wanted to use it in a story.)

The robed figure then looked at Gabriela while holding the monster back.

???: What are you looken at lass!? Get the bloody fucken hell out of here!

The now confirmed male robed figure said with a Scottish accent in a somewhat deep voice and without hesitation, Gabriela started to run as fast as she could towards Petunia's general direction... And as the Robed man fought off the beast a female figure watched from a distance... While licking her chops.

A/N: That'll do it for this chapter! Now then... On to-

Chibi A/N: Look you just dumped a monster within a Mario story!

A/N: Which isn't going to affect the main story just yet!

A/N: *Sigh* It's basically a hint for something in the future which isn't an immediate danger, but a known one.
