*Aslesha*

I put on the seatbelt once we're in the car and look at Viraj.

"You seriously could have killed me!" I scold him.

"Itni achhi kiss kiya ke tumhari jaan chali jaati?" He smirks and starts the engine.

"Shut up! Tum tumhari bow rider chalaa rahe the aur tabhi kiss karna tha? We were in full speed. In the sea. Idiot!" I say and lean back on my seat.

"Darpok" he mutters.

"Shut up!" I say and turn on the radio. I change a few channels and settle on one where Atif Aslam's song is playing. Bakhuda.

"I really like this song" Viraj says.

"Me too" I smile and he turns up the volume. He starts singing along and I'm so glad to hear him sing openly again. He has the voice of a singer.

I love this. I love him. I close my eyes and breathe out in contentment.

My eyes snap open when suddenly Viraj starts screaming.

"TUMHI HO BESHUMAR TUM HI HO! TUM HI HO MUJHME HA, TUM HI HO.. TUM HI HO.. OHHHHHHH"

I start laughing loudly. I was just thinking how serene and peaceful I was feeling but ye Viraj hai. Chaos kahi ka. Bilkul unpredictable.

"Gaao tum bhi!" He laughs.

Even I start screaming on top of my lungs.

"KAISE BATAAYE TUMHE AUR KIS TARAH YE, KITNA TUMHE HUM CHAHTE HAI.. SAAYA BHI TERA DIKHE TOH PAAS JAAKE, USME SIMAT HUM JAATE HAIIIIII" I start laughing when the next part Viraj starts singing in a very high pitched tone trying to match the female voice.

"Raasta tumhi ho. Rehnuma tumhi ho. Jiskii- oh my god I can't match Alka Yagnik Ji's voice. It's too high" he says and starts laughing.

The rest of the ride is spent singing item numbers and tharki songs. Even while screaming he sounds like a rock star jo chilla ke apna guitar vagera fodte hai na, waise. I, on the other hand, sound like a dieing hyena.

We reach the resort and I can't wipe off the smile on my face. Paro told me that our whole gang is staying here and I'm excited and nervous to see their reaction.

Actually I'm nervous about Viraj. Vo kya karne wala hai kya pata, now that he knows sab ne usse meri baat chhupaayi.

"Chale?" He asks holding out his hand and I place my hand in his entwining our fingers.

It's still 8am and the haldi ceremony is gonna start at 10. I even have to get ready.

We enter inside and Viraj leads me on to the terrace where some people are having breakfast. I guess Rudra told him that everyone is up.

In the corner, I see our friends having breakfast. Pari and Rudra are not present. Busy honge.

Viraj's whole demeanor becomes stiff as he starts walking towards them and I can't keep up with his long strides.

Shabnam is the first one to look at us and one by one all of their gazes fall on us and then our hands. A little longer on our hands. Everything goes silent.

Neel looks at me questioningly.

"Uth" Viraj says standing in front of Joel. He frowns and gets up and Viraj directly punches him in the stomach. I hear Shabnam gasp loudly.

Before I can say anything else, Viraj grabs Sid's collar and punches him too and then kicks Tej's butt making him fall down.

I'm rooted on the spot and too shocked to say or do anything.

Then Viraj walks towards Neel. They both look at each other dead in the face and I start walking towards Viraj to stop him but he raises his hand and I stop.

"Hit me. Hard" Viraj says to Neel.

"Kya?" Neel exclaims.

"Maar mujhe!"

"Kya bol raha hai tu?"

"MAAR!" He screams and Neel throws a punch on Viraj's face, literally so hard that it breaks his nose and a little blood comes out.

And then he directly hugs him.

"Saale, isse bhi bahot jyada maarna chahta hu lekin bigdaa hua muh le ke mat reh best friend ke shaadi ke time" Neel says and Viraj hugs him tightly.

"Bhai I'm sor-"

"Chup baith saale haramkhor" Neel says looking at Viraj. "Sorry bolega ab tu? Itna bada ho gaya hai?"

"I missed you" he says patting his cheek lightly.

"I missed you too" Viraj says.

"Now kiss" Tej says in the background earning a tapli from Neel and I sigh shaking my head.

"Ok" Viraj shrugs and grabs my face and gives me a hot hard kiss smack on the lips leaving me dizzy and wanting for more.

"Of course" Neel chuckles and I turn into a nice red tomato and glare at Viraj. Is this the way of informing everyone that we're dating!

We pull out two more chairs as the waiter brings plates for us.

"Aashi!" Pari barges from behind just after I finish my tea and I look at her in shock. She's coming towards me with a curling iron and Rudra is following her, secretly taking her pictures and laughing.

"Kaha thi tu? Meri best friend mere shaadi ke time gayab. Tujhe pata bhi hai mera kya haal ho raha hai yaha? Aur tu baith ke ye plate chaat rahi hai!" She yells at me and I get up quickly.

"Arre ab mai aa gayi hu na. Vidaai tak tere side me rahungi bass" I say and take the hair curler carefully from her hand.

She sighs and sits down on the chair. Then she looks at me carefully and then at Viraj. Something inside her clicks.

She gasps loudly and stands up with both her hands on her mouth.

"Tum dono!" She says pointing towards me and Viraj and we look at each other nervously.

"Tum dono ka patch up ho gaya na! Shakal dekho apni dono. Looking like lovestruck baboons!" she shouts and everyone around us starts laughing as my cheeks feel warm.

"Pari tujhe tayyar nahi hona kya? Chal tu" I say and pull her away and she looks at me suspiciously.

"Aise kya dekh rahi hai?" I ask once we're away from them. She enters her room and I'm shocked to see everything so bloody messy.

The floor is not visible wala messy.

"Did you have sex?" She asks bluntly.

"WHAT! NO!" I squeak.

"Bulb ki tarah glow kar rahi hai tu" she says.

"I can't believe teri shadi hai paanch dino me. Ajeeb aurat" I say and pick up the blouse that I accidentally stepped upon.

"Bata ab sab kuch"

*Viraj*

"Aunty kaise hai? Aa rahe hai na shadi me?" Neel asks and I nod.

"Yaar suit boot me vo baat kaha jo kurta pajama me hai" he says looking at himself in the mirror and I just hmm in reply.

"Veer mai tujhe sach me maaf kar diya hu. Bhul ja" he says sitting beside me.

"Mujhe bahot bura lag raha hai. Mujhe tabhi samajh jaana chahiye tha" I say.

"Tu pehle se hi bewkoof hai but itna tha vo pata nahi tha. Kitni baar toh mai bola tha tujhe ke Aslesha tujhse bahot pyaar karti hai. Vo tere alawa kisi se pyaar nahi kar sakti. Next time se koi bhi misunderstanding ho toh baat kar ke suljhaana. Bhaag mat jaana" he says.

"Ab ye sadaa hua muh hataa warna wapas maar ke sahi kar dunga" he says and I roll my eyes.

"Waise tu ab tak gay hai ya girlfriend vagera pataya New York me?" I ask and he shows me the finger.

"Ek ladki hai waise. Isabella. New York ki hi hai. Office colleague" he says smiling to himself.

"Wah bhai wah. Seedha angrez dulhan!" I smirk.

"Itni aage nahi badhi hai baat. Tu tera aur Aslesha ka bata" he asks.

"Kya bataau? Mai tab bhi uske saath apni puri life spend karna chahta tha aur ab bhi karna chahta hu" I tell him.

"Aur uske liye tujhe kya karna padega?" He asks raising his brows.

"Kya karna padega?" I ask.

"Tu abhi bhi saala mand hi hai" he says shaking his head.

"Bol!"

"Kuch nahi. Chal jaate hai neeche" he says. Kya bolta rehta hai ye banda aaj tak samajh nahi paaya hu mai.

We go downstairs and the decoration is beautiful near the poolside. I see Rudra's dad and start helping him with the last little preparations.

My eyes keep searching for her. Kitni tayyar hogi? Kapde toh kharab hone hi hai na!

"Veer! Aaja!" Tej calls me when Rudra and Pari arrive.

They get seated next to each other. They both look so good. So happy.

My eyes instantly go towards my right and there she is. My happiness.

And holy cow does she look divine!

She's wearing a yellow long dress with a white netted dupatta, looking like sunshine. Her hair is curled in soft waves cascading down her back. How am I so lucky to deserve a girl like her.

Her eyes instantly move towards me and she gives me one of those million dollars smile. And that dimple. Jesus! I seriously have a dimple fetish.

Their parents start applying the haldi paste first as some woman sing traditional songs.

I look at Aslesha and nod at her, silently asking her to stand beside me. She shakes her head and I make a desperate face. She chuckles and looks away. I huff and fold my hands.

All our friends start applying haldi to them. Aslesha goes and hugs Rudra hard, and Pari kisses her cheek and applies haldi to her too at which Aslesha squeals a little in joy. I can't help but smile at my girl.

I finally go ahead towards Rudra. He shakes his head giving me an expression of don't-you-dare.

Arre itna hi jaanta hai kya Rudra tu mujhe?

I nod and give him a innocent smile but at the same time take the haldi paste in both my fists and just rub it all over his face. I take more and put it under his kurta and also his hair.

Everyone starts laughing and Pari starts to back away.

"Na beta na" I say taking haldi in my fists again. She tries getting up but Aslesha grabs her from behind.

"Ayee dhokebaaz" Pari shouts and I rub the haldi all over her face.

Soon everyone is applying haldi to everyone and it's like haldi ki holi. I apply haldi to almost everybody. except my favourite one.

Kaha gayi?

I try to find her between all the yellow faces and finally my eyes catch her. She looks at me at the same time.

I start running towards her and she smiles mischievously and runs away. I follow her as she goes towards the garden area. She looks back at me laughing with her hair swinging wildly in the air.

She is so breathtaking. My steps slow down just to take a better look at her. But then she pokes her tongue out at me and I start running faster.

Achha beta?

I run really fast and directly stand in front of her. Before she turns back I snake my arms around her waist with haldi still in both of my fists.

"Nahi naa" she whines but her eyes are dancing with joy.

"Tumhe haldi na lagaau aisa ho sakta hai kya? Jaldi se lagane do fir free ho jaaogi tum" I say.

"Fine" she says and closes her eyes tightly.

She thinks I'm gonna go crazy like I went with others.

Not with you Aashi.

I gently apply the haldi on her cheek, sliding my hand smoothly as she opens her eyes. With the other hand, I apply it on her other cheek. I apply a little on her nose and she smiles.

I slide her hair back with my knuckles to expose her neck and she gulps as her pupils dilate.

I run my fingers down the right side of her neck and pull her towards me and kiss the left side.

"You look beautiful" I say looking down at her.

"You too" she says taking the haldi off her cheeks and applying it on mine and gets on her tip toes for a quick peck on the lips.

"Sab log hume dhoond rahe honge. Chale?" She asks and I nod.

"Waise Saumya kaha hai? Aayi nahi kya?" I ask. Lag hi raha tha jab se aaya hu ke koi toh missing hai.

"Vo contact me nahi rahi college ke baad".

We reach the resort building aur hum sab saath me baith ke lunch karte hai aur college ki baate dohraate hai. I feel so so happy. The days goes on in preparations and decorations.

The whole day I and Aslesha keep stealing glances at each other and every now and then our bodies brush against each other.

Raat kab hogi?

"Oye? Kaha? Aslesha mere saath soyegi ab se" Pari says when I ask Aslesha to come with me.

"Kyu?" I ask angrily.

"Kyu matlab kya? Meri best friend hai vo mere saath soyegi" she says.

"Aur meri girlfriend hai vo!" I state.

"Ha. Girlfriend. Patni nahi hai jo roz baaju me lekar sona hai. Chal tu Aashi mai thak gayi hu" Pari says and pulls her with her and Aslesha looks back at me and gives me a guilty look.

I smile and nod at her letting her know that it's ok.

The whole day I controlled myself. I wanted to kiss her so bad. I wanted her with me in bed. Ugh!

'Patni nahi hai vo.'

Toh banaa leta hu.

Mai shaadi vagera ke baare me itna socha nahi but looking at Aslesha, I know that she's the one. She is the person who I want to spend my life with, who I want to take care of forever and I love her more than my own life.

Iska matlab.. I want to marry Aslesha..?

Of course I do!

But.. will she say yes?

Ye toh puch ke hi pata chalega.

Sorry for the late update. Baarish me bheeg ke mai bimaar pad gayi thi. Ab sirf 4-5 chapters aur bache hai.. I'm already feeling emotional :(
