Cedar youngest to Clay and Viva gets upset and lashes out at the fact his parents are having another baby and he's afraid that he won't be loved anymore...

Cedar an 8-year-old was reading a story when he heard a knock at his bedroom door, he looks up to see his parents coming in.

''Hey mom! Dad!'' He smiles at them.

''Hey son.'' Viva smiles going over and picking up Cedar.

''What do you need?'' He asked as his parents sat down on the floor with him.

''Well, me and your mom we have something we want to tell you.'' Clay replied.

''What is it?'' He asked curious.

''Well, you're going to be a big brother.'' Viva said.

''A big brother?'' He asked surprised.

''Yes, we are having another trolling and that means you'll be a big brother.'' Clay smiles and hugs Cedar.

''Oh, so I won't be the baby?'' He asked.

''Nope, but for now you are. Isn't this great?! We already told your sister, and she was excited about it.'' Viva smiles hugging and kissing Cedar's cheek.

Cedar smiles as they left the room. He was excited he went to tell his friends.

Leaf and Maple two of his best friends were playing outside as Cedar came over.

''Hey guys I got some great news!'' Cedar replied excitedly.

''What's up Cedar?'' Asked Maple.

''I found out I'm going to be a big brother!''

''That's great!'' Maple replied as she went over and hugged Cedar.

''Yeah, congrats but you know that means you won't be the baby.'' Leaf replied.

''I know! I get to be older like my sister Camilla.'' Cedar smiles.

''Yes, but when the trolling comes your parents will be so busy with the baby that they won't have much time for you plus the middle kid gets overlooked a lot.'' Leaf replied.

Cedar stopped and thought about it. ''Really?''

''Yeah, I mean they spend time with you right?'' Asked Maple.

''Yes, they do, they do with my sister as well.'' Cedar replied.

''You should ask her if your parents paid attention to her when you were born.'' Leaf said.

Cedar went to Camilla who was trying to write a song.

''Hey sis, did mom and dad spend time with you after I was born?'' He asked sitting next to her.

''Sure, they did, not as much as I wanted but they tried.'' She replied.

Cedar was worried that night he was in bed and couldn't sleep he was upset and sad his parents would forget about him when the baby was born.

The next morning, he was tired, and his parents saw this and were worried.

''Hey, you ok sweetie?'' Asked Viva who went over to her little boy.

''Yeah, fine.'' He replied.

Later they went to visit Bruce and Brandy at Vacay and while there Cedar was still feeling down and he was playing with his cousins as they were playing Volleyball. Camilla and him were on a team with Breezy and a couple of other cousins.

They were all having fun and Cedar took all of his anger out in that game, he managed to hit one of his cousin so hard they went flying back into the sand.

Cedar realized what happened and shook his head as he looked at them. ''I'm done playing.'' He walked away.

Branch had been outside sitting and enjoying the weather and he saw what Cedar did and was curious and surprised but brushed it off.

A couple days later Cedar was with Rosie, Twig, and his sister and they were all playing kick ball. Cedar kicks the ball, and he looked over to see his parents who were talking to Aunt Poppy while his mom was on his dad's lap and saw his dad hand on his mom's tummy.

Cedar felt sad and upset and he kicked the ball so hard it bounced everywhere, and Rosie managed to kick the ball into the net.

''We win! Camilla and Rosie shout as they high five.

''IT'S JUST BECAUSE YOUR GIRLS!?'' Cedar shouted as he fumed and took of leaving his sister and cousins in shock.

Cedar was upset and he kicked a rock and then went to an area where he picked up the rock and threw it at a tree and he sat down on the grass and was trying not to cry.

He was by himself. Branch had been watering the flowers and he saw his nephew who looked upset and sad. He went over slowly.

''Cedar are you ok?'' He asked.

Cedar looked up at his uncle. ''Yeah, I'm fine.''

Branch sat down next to Cedar. ''Come on I saw how you were; you lashed out at Vacay Island and here just now, what's going on? You can tell me.'' Branch replied looking at his nephew.

''Well, I'm the youngest and now mom and dad are having a baby trolling and that means I won't be the youngest anymore and mom and dad will forget about me.'' Cedar cried.

Branch nodded understanding. ''What makes you think they will forget about you?''

All the middle kids get overlooked.'' He sighed trying not to cry.

''That's not true, its usually the youngest but they won't forget about you, parents have a lot of kids but they never forget about any of them.'' Branch replied.

''What if I'm not a good big brother?'' He asked.

''Not possible. You know Rosie and Twig were a bit worried as well when your aunt was having Joy. They were afraid we wouldn't spend time with them. But they were a big help and we spend time with all of our kids together and some one-on-one times. If I know your dad he will always make time for all of you.'' Branch replied hugging Cedar.

''Thanks uncle Branch.'' He smiled and went play with the kids.

A couple months later little Iris was born and Cedar loved being a big brother and he got to spend time with all of his family.
