Kapok gasped, and stuttered out, "never develop powers?!"

"It's sad but it's true." I said bluntly than got an idea.

"If you let him sit in the Full moonlight everynight and have someone who has Nightwing powers train him it might help him develop something." I explained hoping she would also hear my silent suggestion.

"Well about that." she said looking me dead in the eyes, then continued, "I was wondering if you would go like to live with the dragonets."

I paused this is what I wanted so Instantly answered her, "Really?!  Yes! Of course I'll go!"

Kapok smiled at my happiness then said, "From you reaction you suspected that you might have been the lost Skywing before correct?"

"Well not really a friend brought it up to me and it got me to start thinking." I mumbled.

"Well we should get going as soon as possible I'll send a messenger to the Talons Of Peace base in the Kingdom of the Sea thats where our leader is once he sends a response and you've told you're parents we can go." She said with a smile.

"I'll go tell them now!" I said running off and jumping into the sky to head back towards the main base to tell my parents.

My parents weren't thrilled by the idea of me leaving them but after enchanting a pebble to make the holder very convincing under my breath and holding it tight in my talons they eventually agreed. I smiled than ran to pack my items while I was in my room packing I thouht back to what Stonemover said.

I should enchant something to protect my soul It sould be something that I can where at all times thats not suspicious.

Getting an idea I walked over to my jewelry I had. It wasn't much but there was some earrings and necklaces. I didn't really like the idea of either both could be easily ripped of during battle. I kept digging around my room until I found something perfect. It was a small ring. After some brainstorming I enchanted the ring with like this.

"I enchant this ring to protect the wearer from the side effect of animus magic that damages their soul and to remove all previous damage caused to their soul by animus magic."

I then clamped the the ring around one of my more visible and larger horns.

It wasn't the nicest thing but it was unlikely to fall of while I was in a fight considering I couldn't move it up or down, that was probably why it had a clamp. Plus even if it wasn't the nicest at least it matched nicely with the color of my horns unlike most gold jewelry. I decided it would be a good idea to pack the few things I had enchanted over the two years I had known about my powers. It wasn't much but I didn't want to leave it behind it was this, The ruby which was originally a scroll I had kept it because it was the first thing I enchanted.

Next was a bracelet made up of Orange, Yellow, and Red wires it had the ability to let me look like any dragon I could imagine I had made it after meeting up with Jambou the Rainwing a few months after I discovered my powers, I also grabbed the scroll I enchanted to turn into the whatever story I wanted to read whenever I unrolled it. I also decided it would be a good idea to being the pebble I had enchanted it was only for me to use to convince my parents to let me go but it might be useful.

Once I had packed everything else I would need and some snacks for the flight I flew back to the courtyard to try and find Opal or Kapok. Luckily I found Opal wandering around and asked her where Kapok was. She pointed me in the direction of Kapok's office so went there to tell her I was ready.

"Kapok my parents said yes and I'm all packed for whenever were ready to go!" I yelled looking for Kapok.

I watched as Kapok came in the room from a door to the left.

"Thats good I just sent a messenger they should be back with Nautilus's answer by nightfall." Kapok said.

Since it was early in the morning I decided if I was apart of the Talons Of Peace now and I was really one of the dragonets of destiny I should tell them about my power.

"Um Kapok I have something I should tell you." I said quietly but enough for Kapok to hear me.

"What is it." She asked a curious expression on her face.

"U-um I'm a-." I paused not sure how to say this then continued, "I'm an animus!" I ended up blurting.

Kapok's face was full of shock and disbelief.

"Can you show me?" She asked exited which was unexpected.

"Um sure just give me something to enchant." I said nervously.

I had never used my power infront of another dragon but it couldn't be that hard, so when Kapok handed me the earring she was originally wearing and after I took a minute to think of how to enchant it I was less nervous while talking.

"I enchant this earring to make the wearer be able to fly as fast and far as a Skywing and for their special ability to be enhanced specifically so if a Rainwing wears it their venom can also melt non living things." I said confidentiality.

It was a long enchantment so I hoped it would work while handing it back to Kapok. As Kapok put on the earring she also reached for the metal figure of a tree on her desk and after making sure the earring was fully on shot a small amount of venom onto the figure. As I hoped it melted some but as it wasn't much venom not fully.

"Wow! Thats really cool! But also to bad I liked that figurine." She said excitedly at first than a bit sadly.

"Oh I can fix it." I said while picking it up careful not to touch the venom or let drip on me.

"I enchant this figurine to magically fix itself." I said as the marks of venom suddenly vanished than the figurine reshaped itself to be a tree again.

Me and Kapok spent the rest of the day hanging out and a bit before nightfall a skinny looking female Seawing I remembered was named Kelp flew up to us.

"Nautilus said it was ok!" Kelp said quickly then collapsed.

"Kelp!" I shouted then caught her.

"Poor dragon she must have not made any stops." Kapok said with worry in her voice.

I grabbed up a loose piece of cobble from the ground and enchanted it to teleport any dragon I touched with it to be transported to the infirmary.
After touching Kelp with it me and Kapok headed over to the caves I was staying in with my parents and let them know we were leaving. Then we left and started the long flight towards what wouldn't be exactly what I expected.
