Chapter 15
Me and Sunny reached the group of dragonets and they all (minus Catapillar) were looking at Sunny expecting a reaction.
Sunny looked back at them with a look of pure determination on her face. This quite obviously took them of gaurd and Clay even had his mouth open in shock.
"I don't care whether or not your all helping me I will make the prophecy real if I don't no if we don't the first 6 years of our lives were a complete waste and the war will either go on forever or the Sandwings will end up with a bad queen." Sunny said glaring at the other dragonets her face full of raw determination.
"I don't care whether or not the prophecy is real I'm staying with Sunny and helping her." Starflight exclaimed walking over to me and Sunny.
Starflight sat next to Sunny and also was now wearing a look of determination as well. Clay stood up from where he was sitting and walked over too.
"Sunny's our little sister I wouldn't leave her if it meant death." He said seriously.
Clay twinned his tail around Sunny's and she leaned onto his side. Tsunami looked contradicted, looking into her thoughts I could see why.
(A/N: this is probably a good time to mention if something looks like *this* it's another dragons thoughts.)
*should I go with them??? I care for Sunny and the others alot but the prophecy's not even real, and this could be my chance to go and finally see my mother. I only just found out who she is and if I go with Sunny will I still get to meet her???*
I slipped out of Tsunami's thoughts since they gave me a headache and walked over to where Glory was sitting next to Catapillar.
"Still want to go with me?" I asked as Tsunami walked over and joined the others.
"Yes I'm sure I won't be of much use to the others only a thing holding them back since no one will accept a Rainwing as the fifth dragonet of destiny but I might still be able to help these other dragons." She answered me.
"Should I send a message to Morninglory?" Catapillar asked.
"Yes." I said with no hesitation.
Catapillar raised her wrist and scraped a message onto the wood. It read,
Hey Morninglory it's me Catapillar I made it safely to Pyrrhia theres no Metalwings or Lilywings here but I have a Rainwing and a Hybrid dragon coming with me to Pantala.
"Morninglory." Catapillar said scratching and X through her message.
The writing disappeared and Catapillar set her arm back on the ground.
"Hey you should make something like this for us." Glory said.
Catapillar looked confused so we explained what an animus was.
"I need 7 of something to enchant." I said.
"I'll get something." Glory said nodding.
After about a minute Glory came back with 7 tree branches.
"Any ideas on what you want yours to be?" I asked Glory
Glory sat in thought for a moment then said, "A ring like the one you have on your horn except it can camouflage just like my scales."
"Smart." I said then enchanted one of the sticks as she said.
I asked the other dragonets what they wanted theirs to be. Sunny wanted a bracelet in sunset colored wires, Starflight wanted a earing in the shape of a star, (dragons have a natural hole in their ear in my AU don't ask me how) Clay wanted a necklace that had a charm in the shape of all of them, Tsunami wanted a narwhal horn on for her tail, (like she had seen her mother had from her books) Catapillar wanted an earing in the shape of a fox, and I just made mine a simple long silver wire.
I enchanted them with the same enchant though.
"I enchant all of these items I just made to make a dragon be able to communicate with another dragon who is wearing one of these items whether it be by dreams, or thoughts."
I handed the items to each of the other dragonets. I wrapped the wire around part of my wing.
(A/N: like this.)
(The other things looked like this.)
Tsunami:
Glory:
Sunny: (a bead for each of the dragonets -Sunny herself and +Catapillar)
Clay:
(I'm lazy use your imagination for his pls)
Starflight:
Catapillar:
(You're welcome)
The others all put on their objects as well and we said goodbye, Glory giving all the dragonets big hugs me as well.
After that I made 6 copys of the map Catapillar had and gave four of them to the other dragonets 1 each, kept one for myself and gave the other to Glory.
We all said our final goodbyes and parted ways. The others were going to wait another day before going anywhere.
We however had to fly across an entire continent and then across a whole ocean. I noticed Glory and Catapillar started to struggle once we got near Jade Mountain without any stops.
With many arguments I finally forced them to stop and land so they could rest. I however had someone else to talk to. Telling the others I'd be right back I started towards Sundrop's hut.
A knocked on the door a few times and after a bit heard some shuffling around before someone opened the door and saw me.
"Permafrost!" Sundrop yelled jumping out of her hut and giving me a hug.
"Hi Sundrop I was wondering if you could pass a message to Kapok for me?" I asked.
"Oh sure no prob!" She agreed.
Sundrop called over an owl and looked over at me with a pencil and piece of scroll in her talons.
I took them and scribbled down the note quickly and folded it neatly. After I handed it back to Sundrop she expertly tied a piece of string around it and tied that the the owls outstretched claw.
Sundrop made a nice little hooting sound and the owl responded flying off afterwards.
"Thanks." I said.
"No problem stay safe!" She answered.
"You to!" I responded as I exited the hut and walked back towards the other dragonets.
The sun had just started to rise when I got back to where the others were now laying passed out cold.
I chuckled.
Guess I've got the first watch.
