Not much is known about Gaze.

One they just appeared on top of the building, dressed in tattered clothes, with cloth like wings.

Sometimes they lock themselves in the editing room and the next day there's a song remix or a tuned up song

The remixes are pretty good though

They're described to have rough skin, as if they've been litterally roasted or cooked, hair that looks bleached, and nasty bandages covering their shoulders, back and chest.

Their wings are weird because they're cloth like but still drop feathers, and no one knows if they can actually fly. They do know that Gaze can and will randomly disappear off the roof.

None of the band members know Gaze's gender, and no one's gonna check. They also have no clue if they can actually speak. They sign, though.

Gaze continually insults everyone via signing. They seem to favor Noodle and Russel, though, because their insults aren't so harsh to them. They also disappear to look for Noodle and Russel when the band breaks up. They keep having to come back to the original building, though. Noodle finds out in Phase 3 that they are bound to the building, have been, and that Murdoc is partially responsible for this.

Murdoc actually attempted to get rid of them for a long time. However, whatever he did never worked. Every time he tried to kill Gaze, they just got up and were healed the next day. Of he threw them off the building, they appeared behind him.

Phase 1-
Appears in most videos in the background. In the dare video, they are seen bobbing their head to the music while on their nest in the roof. When el manana happens, they disappear, to 2D's confusion.

Phase 2- A small sequence is shown during stylo where they keep having to return to the building. Feathers are shedding rapidly. In melachony hill, they finally find Russel and Noodle. Russel gives Noodle to them.

Phase 2.5
Noodle wakes up in the old building, in the nest in the roof. A bad remix is playing; a purposefully bad remix of an original song.

Noodle sits up, as Gaze comes up through the ladder

They give her a cup of noodle soup, before going to the edge of the roof.

Their wings raise, and begin strecthing. Slowly, unseen, rotted feathers fall, the pile getting bigger by the second.

After a while the feathers stop.

Gaze reaches to help Noodle up, and she takes their hand.

Grinning at her, they sign 'See you, noodle soup.' Then, they grab her around the waist, and take off, flying through the air with their wings.

Feathers came off rapidly, leaving a trail in the sea. Their skin cracked and crackled, but they kept grinning, ignoring Noodle's protests. As they reach plastic beach, they drop noodle safely onto the island, and continue flying, unable to stop themselves. They sail into the sea with a splash, and sink, leaving behind a large spot of rotting feathers.
