"Okay then, 'Oen!' Time to get moving, right into the world of POKEMON!

[DAD] Oen?! Oen, are you still asleep?! You'll be late for the Initiation Arena! You want to get a good Pokemon, don't you?"

[DAD] There, you're finally up. Get dressed, ok? Try to pick something nice. Me and Imirshone are going to take you there!

[In this part of the game, you pick what to dress your character in from a variety of plainish clothes. Oen wears a white letter jacket with the hood up, and long black jeans. He also wears dark blue hiking boots.

[DAD] You bundled up, Oen? It's pretty cold in our little region today!

[DAD] Ah, our region... I know i tell the story obsessively, but would you be willing to hear the story again?

    The existence of the region of Sylbys has been known by authorities and explorers for years. Decades, more like. It is a large region, often called the Region of Islands, as the main part of the Region, called Sylite, is surrounded by twelve small islands. In each of these islands, there is a completely new biome. Natives have lived under the command of a strict and paranoid emperor for the decades before and after the region was discovered. He refused to let others in. According to him, the entirety of Sylbys was once a single continent. But then, the natives came, and displeased a God of sorts. This 'God' destroyed the Region.

And after many years, when a new emperor was crowned, he reluctantly allowed others in. And slowly but surely, the developing region of Sylbys was born.

[DAD] Oh how I love the story! Now get going!

{SKIP TO AFTER GETTING YOUR POKEMON FOR NOW. The starter you choose determines the order of the three rivals. Oen picked a Fire Type.}

[Assistant] Thank you for your patronage. Stand outside until the ceremony is over, won't you? You can talk to the other newly crowned trainers.

"NEXT! ALTAR- sorry, TALLIS, FERRIS!"

[Trainer] Wow, for a second i thought they would say Al'Tarnet!

[Trainer2] You mean Dicision Al'Tarnet? The famous waterpark owner?

[Trainer] AND champion! I heard she had a kid! Guess it's not true--

[???] COMING THROOOOUUUGGHHH!~

[???] Oof!! Oh, suuuper sorry, person! Are you okay?

[???] Oh gosh, don't tell me they're dead!!!

[???] Oh, they're okay! Whew! Hiii! Sorry for the crash, totally didn't mean to do it!

[???] I'm Ferris, though i think you just heard that! Let me know yours? Pleeeasseee?

[Ferris] Oen? That's a super cute name! Anyway, I'll meet you outside, I just HAVE to grab the water starter! Water is the best!

[???] O-oh! It's my turn!

[They stop in front of everyone]

[???] Um... Hi! I'm, e-erm, Polin. But you kind of heard that... I, uh, hope we all do good today, finally becoming trainers!? Heh.. ehe. I'll just be going. I really need to get my new fire type buddy.

[Polin exits, embarrassed]

"GAVINE, WREN!"

[She comes in, not bothering to look at anyone.]
