POV: Torikachi

Ah... Speranza... The famous cruise, one of the most expensive, and I'm just casually standing on the deck, looking out the ocean, embracing myself with it.

Of course, I didn't need to pay for this trip since ANHS is a very well-known school and the school itself pays for our trip. I already know we will have 2 special exams during this summer trip and I'm not surprised, Kiyotaka is here with me.

"Never I would think that you stopped her from blackmailing me," said Kiyotaka.

"It's for your sake, Kiyotaka," I replied.

*flashback

POV: 3rd Person

One time, in a faculty room, a teacher and a student exchanged words with each other.

Sae: "There's a certain man complained to the school, saying 'expel Ayanokouji Kiyotaka.' "

Kiyotaka: "That's such nonsense, there's no reason the school will do such actions just from any outside influences."

Sae: "Yes. The school won't do such a thing, as long as the student doesn't violate any rules within the school."

Kiyotaka: "Indeed."

Sae: "However, if I see you as a problem, then you will indeed be expelled."

Just from a mere sentence, Kiyotaka decided to grab Chabashira-sensei's collar, displaying darkness within his eyes.

Sae: "I will make a deal with you. You will help us reach class A, I will protect you from the school."

Kiyotaka: "You call yourself a teacher?"

Sae: "Will you do it or not? This is your chance."

*clap clap clap*

Hearing the sound, both teacher and student turned to the door, only to see one student.

Torikachi: "Blackmailing a student is not an admirable quality, Chabashira Sae-sensei."

Sae: "Why are you here? Eavesdropping is also not an admirable quality, Torikachi."

Torikachi: "Oh please... I already know about it even if I'm not here."

Sae: "So what are you trying to do? Stop me?"

Torikachi: "I already know your information is fake. Give up sensei."

Sae: "How can you be so sure to claim it to be true?"

Torikachi: "I've already spoken to the Chairman about protecting Kiyotaka in this school, and he said you also need to do it also."

Of course, the statement was a lie, but somehow true since Torikachi knows the Chairman told Sae-sensei about this topic.

Sae: "How did you know about that?"

Torikachi: "I've met Chairman on July 1st, remember?"

Sae: "So you were there to talk about 'that topic', I see."

Torikachi: "So don't force him to achieve your dream sensei, let him volunteer himself to do whatever he wants, but I will ensure we will win reach class A with minimum performance. Starting from our next vacation's special exams."

Sae: "How do you know there will be special exams? And how can you be so sure about reaching class A?"

Torikachi: "There's no way the school allows students to enjoy a cruise vacation out of nowhere, thus Sakayanagi from class A said she won't able to join our vacation."

Torikachi: "To your second question, I have a very reliable source of information."

Sae: "I see how it is. You are more intelligent than you look. I will be observing you."

Torikachi:" Of course. I'm the secretary appointed by Manabu-senpai after all."

Sae: "Understandable. You two should go now, it's getting late."

Torikachi: "Goodbye, and see you on the cruise, Chabashira-sensei."

*flashback end

POV: Kiyotaka

"So what kind of special exam is it that we will participate in?" I asked while exchanging my gaze with the ocean outside.

"We are heading to an island right?" Torikachi replied. "We will have our first special exam there."

"The rules will be explained during the exam with a handbook. It will be a 7-day survival exam." he continued. "This special exam's theme is 'freedom'. And no further explanation is needed from me."

"Understandable," I replied.

"So... Shall we go for some breakfast?" Torikachi asked.

"I guess we could since there's not much for us to do at the current moment on the cruise," I replied. There are no reasons for me to decline this offer, thus the restaurants here are free to eat. No one can decline free food.

"Okay let's go then. I've found a place that's good for my taste." He said. I hope I could taste something good since I haven't eaten much new food since I departed from Matsuo, my butler.

"Thinking about Matsuo?" He asked.

"I'm not surprised if you know about our relationship," I replied.

"Of course! As I said: I knew everything." He said with a grin.

"Anyway, let's go!" He continued.

"Okay then."

*time skip

POV: Torikachi

I am currently vibing with the wind, how gentle.

Sound of the waves, colliding the ship with rhythms.

With such small intentions,...-

"We almost arrived at the island. Come out to look at a significant scenery." From the speaker.

'Damn it... I was in a good monologue.' I thought.

The cruise started to speed up, around 3 times faster than normal. It seems like the special exam is going to start soon.

Kiyotaka will also notice the odd from the announcement. As I informed him yesterday that the special exam is today, but not informing the others.

I mean, what's the point of not notifying those defects? Well, I want to see those faces of lost hope for not enjoying the vacation to the fullest.

*30 minutes later

All 4 classes are currently present on the island with schools' jerseys. It's so hot that I might need to take off the outer layer...

At least the sand of the beach is comfortable...

At the front, I see 4 homeroom teachers preparing for their announcement.

Mashima-sensei: "I would like to congratulate all of you who are presented here. It's a shame that one of us can not participate in our vacation."

Murmurs spread across all classes, wondering and pitying the person who is not present: Sakayanagi Arisu. Understandably, she has a handicap. So Katsuragi is the leader of class A for now.

Mashima-sensei: "Without further ado, let us start our first special exam."

"E-EHHH??!!"

Shocks and trembles come across our class. Honestly, can y'all at least not panic about everything because it's annoying.

Even I'm not panicking when I am suddenly got transported into this world.

Until everyone regains their composure, the teachers proceed to explain about the exam we are currently having.

"I see how it is. The extra rules were a bit difficult to understand at first. But it all makes sense now." Kiyotaka states.

"So there are a total of 12 spots on this island. On the 6th night, we will capture all the spots as all-nighter and the exam will be over at 7th noon." I whispered to him about my plan for how to overcome the exam.

"This is not your initial plan, is it?" He asked.

"Sooner or later, Ryuuen will target our class even if I don't interfere, so I might as well get extra points."

"I see." He replied, perhaps knowing what we should do to win the exam.

"Well, since we all know what our plan is, let's search for the spots, but I will pretend to not know their location to the class." I said. "I know all classes leader before the exam starts, so we can do whatever we want."

"Oi, Koenji!!" I called Koenji for certain matters.

"Ho... what do you want from this perfect existence, gourmet-boy?? I don't want to waste my time for peasants." He comes to me.

"I already know your plan to retire from this exam, so I wanted to propose a deal." I asked.

"What is it then boy?? It better be a good deal."

"In exchange for not retiring from this exam, I will make you my special dishes for a week when the second semester comes. Deal?"

"Ho... since I believe you are a good cook, I accept your deal at the moment. But I won't do anything in this exam." I did not expect he would accept my request easily. Perhaps he wants to try my dishes.

"I don't need your contribution, just don't retire for 30 points reduction."

"Very well then. Shall we use a paper contract then?" He asked.

"No worries. I'm a man with words. My dignity will not allow me to neglect the deal we made." I answered, hoping he will be satisfied with my words.

"Then I shall be leaving. Later!!" He said as he walk away from me and Kiyotaka's location.

"I never expect you will make a deal with Koenji." Kiyotaka stated.

"I also in need of private points too. So this is a necessary action to win this exam." I answered.

"Understandable." He replied.

"Moreover, I already know all the leaders without looking for them. Considering the personality of all leaders, then we will at least get 150 S-points from guessing leaders, as well as change our leader at the end of the exam. However, you can explore for more information if you want." I explained.

"So who will be our leader at the moment?" He asked.

"Perhaps- no-no. I'm sure that Horikita will be the leader."

"I noticed she looked sick when we came here."

"I will put the rest of 'your plan' in action. I have no further explanation." I stated. "However, I advice you to claim all 12 spots on the island on the 6th night, we will be all-nighters at that moment."

"I thought Horikita will be doing it?"

"There's no rule states that other students can use their leader's card to capture spots. However, you will change the leader to yours at that moment, so we will be fine. Just go with the flow at the moment."

"Won't other classes be cautious about it?"

"Nope. I'm sure that all spots will be free to claim around 3:00 to 3:30 AM." I confidently stated. (This is OC, but it is for more points for the class. Even if I don't state this plan out, Ryuuen would still hunt for the mastermind as in canon.)

"Hey everyone! Shall we go search for a spot then?" About time Hirata. I was going to ask you to start moving.

"Seems like the ruckus had been solved." I said.

"It's a bit hard to calm down both parties though." Hirata nervously laughs. "I think we should go now. Everyone seems to be ready."

"Okay then. Let's go Kiyotaka." I said.

"Okay." He replied.

*time skip to when Ike found a spot

POV: Kiyotaka.

"The river is very fresh. We actually can drink the water here!" Stated Ike. As expected from Torikachi, Ike also has camping experience.

"That's good Ike-kun!" Said Hirata, while facing everyone else. "There's a spot here. So who will be our leader?"

"It has to be either Hirata or Kushida. They stand out too much. The leader should be responsible and laying low from other classes." Stated Yukimura. I'm not surprised.

"Oh, I know!" Hyped Kushida. "How about Horikita-san?"

Speaking of Horikita, she seems to lose herself a moment, her fever got ahead of her.

"Horikita-san," asked Hirata. "You agree with Kushida's proposal? Everyone seems to agree with it."

"If you insist, then I will do it." Replied Horikita. Seems like Torikachi is right again.

Honestly, I'm quite hyped for this volume. as well as writing this fanfic in the future.

Eventually, Torikachi will interfere with some "plans" as long as it doesn't change the outcome of the exams. I will do this more in the later volumes.
