POV: Suzune

I am currently heading towards the planned destination that Ryuuen called me for my final decision.

For the Festival today, I have done terribly in my performance in our class.

Shibata-kun happens to be the MVP instead of Sudou since he was disqualified from the 200-meter dash and the three-legged race mix.

As I am currently on my way, Kushida asked me for her to tag along, since she has some business with Ryuuen too.

As I reach Ryuuen, he is currently sitting on a chair.

"Calm down, Kikyou. I'm sure you are already aware of her." Ryuuen starts to speak. "Now, if you may?"

As soon as he called out to Kushida-san, she walks in his direction and with a grin on her face.

"Fufu... you already know about this, Ryuuen-kun."

(Y'all know what happened in the first half.)

I guess this is my loss now, I could not believe that I am this useless compared to other classes.

As I started to get down to my knees, a message had been sent from Ryuuen's phone.

"Hmm? What is this?" Ryuuen asks himself while playing the video.

["Let's target Horikita Suzune in this Festival, dimwits."] The voice can be heard as soon as he starts to play the file.

"What?" Ryuuen wondered. "How is this possible?"

The video played Ryuuen's plan about our Sports Festival. He even instructed Kinoshita-san how to injure me during the hurdle race.

"Kukuku..." Laughed Ryuuen. Both me and Kushida got left dumbfounded.

"W-Wait??!! What happened?" Kushida asked.

"Nothing special. There is a traitor among class D." He said. "The person had predicted everything from the start. He knows how Kikyou will leak the participation table, he knows how Suzune will have to bow down to me, he even used one of my classmates to betray my orders."

"Wait? How? What?" Wondered Kushida. "It could be Ayanokouji. He managed to race along with the President."

"No. He is one candidate, but not 100% sure about he truly is one of the masterminds of class B." Ryuuen replied while displaying a wide grin.

"W-What?" Kushida wondered.

"I already theories that there are not one, but two masterminds within your class. I am satisfied for today, whoever it is, I will trace them down." Ryuuen replied as he leaves the area.

I already know about this. Deep down, I know that Ayanokouji-kun and Torikachi-kun managed to pull this event out.

I need to talk to them about this.

POV: Kiyotaka

I am currently walking to the school's gate, only to see a purpled-hair girl with a ponytail.

"So, where are we going?" I asked.

"Follow me." She answered while walking in a certain direction.

As we go, we headed to the special annex. This place is camera-free, so no one will know what will happen in the next few minutes.

We reached the third floor, only to see a familiar presence. A petite girl, sitting on her chair, with a cane by her side.

It is Sakayanagi from class A.

From what Torikachi told me, she is fully aware of that place.

"Can I leave now?" The girl who guided me speaks to the other.

"Thank you for your help, Matsumi-san. You can now leave this place as you wish. I will be counting on you in the future." She replied calmly.

As we look at each other, she managed to maintain her usual look on her face.

"Can you wait for me a moment?" I asked as I pulled out my phone to send a video file. "I need to send a gift to someone."

"Fufu~ Go ahead. I can wait." She replied as the message had been sent to the receiver.

"So, I assumed you wanted to see me?" I asked. "I would like to make things quick."

"You have made quite a show during the relay race, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka-kun." She speaks using my full name.

"You know, after seeing you run, I remembered something. I called you here to share the shock I felt at the moment. It's almost like this could lead up to a confession, don't you think so?"

"I don't know what you are talking about," I replied while tilting my head.

As she stands up from her chair, grabs her cane, and walks past me.

Tap tap

"It's been a while, Ayanokouji-kun." She said. "It has been 8 years and 243 days to be exact."

So Torikachi was right again. She once visited that place.

"Are you joking? I don't even know who you are." I asked while already knowing the truth.

"Of course, it was me who only know you after all." She replied as she continued walking.

Tap tap

"White Room." The word she said could be heard in my ears. I already know that she knows the White Room, so I managed to maintain my composure.

"You didn't look surprised at all even after I said that," Sakayanagi said.

"I already know about the information," I replied.

"Fufu~ I guess it was Torikachi-kun who told you about it." She said while mentioning my first friend ever.

"It sounds like you are very well-acquainted with my first friend," I said. It sure is weird for me to tell that I have a friend all along.

"Of course." She replied. "I just wanted to greet you after a small reunion, wouldn't you say?"

"However, it is quite unexpected, to reunite with you in a place like this. To be honest, I thought I would never see you again.

But with this, all of the mysteries have been solved. The island exam, the cruise, and the original class D's brush of expulsions. It happened to be you working behind the scenes. I originally thought that Horikita Suzune would pull off such a stunt, but turns out she couldn't."

"Well, our class also has Torikachi," I replied. I know this might be futile but she already knew his existence.

"Will you look at that, someone managed to view a person truly as a friend. I'm sure he's happy to hear this." She replied.

"However, he could interfere whenever he wanted to manipulate the outcomes by himself. He already changed the order of the classes as an example." She continued.

It is true. Torikachi said he did not do anything much in the event but just happened to let it be.

Tap tap

"Moreover, I have no intentions of telling anyone about your past." She continued.

"Will it be easier if you did?" I asked.

"It does, but I will not let anyone get in my way to bury a false genius." She said.

I then grab her sleeve, looking at her dead in the eyes.

"May I ask a question?" I asked before I could ask her the real question.

"Of course. I would like you to ask anything about me. Even let you know how I know about that information." She replied.

"No no. I don't care such thing." I comply. "But what I wanted to ask is..."

I then look straight into her eyes.

"Can you bury me?"

"Ehehe..." she laughed at my question. "I am sorry for laughing. It's not that I am trying to insult you. I know quite well how incredible you are. I am fully aware of your capabilities, as well as your true self. I will be able to realize my dearest wish of destroying the greatest masterpiece that your father had ever made."

Yes, I wanted that too.

My destruction, my defeat, meaning that man will lose too.

I wanted the sad contradiction that I carried within me to be destroyed.

I wished that from the bottom of my heart.

"Now, doesn't that suits you, Torikachi-kun?" Sakayanagi asks without looking anywhere in the hallways.

"Of course, I am satisfied with your small reunion, Arisu." A person replied while revealing himself from the other lane.

"Now, with everything is assembled, I, Arisu, and Chairman Sakayanagi will protect you from that man. So rest assured, everything is according to my plan." He said.

"And how could you do that?" Arisu asks while keeping her smile.

"You already know about the recordings I obtained from the White Room, aren't you, Arisu?" He replied with another question.

"Fufu~ Indeed, I am fully aware. However, I'm still skeptical about how you obtained the recordings without getting caught." She states. It is true. That man would never be this careless about the security of that place.

"I will leave it up to your imagination." He said. "Have you ever heard of a theory that someone always watching all of you in the sky, an unknown entity that is currently watching us doing these kinds of things?"

Torikachi asked both of us a strange question about the fourth wall of a book.

"Does it has to do with how you obtain the recordings, Torikachi?" I asked.

"Perhaps." He replied. "I happened to be one of those people, who used to watch you all from the sky, knowing everything you guys might have done in the future.

I know this is unbelievable, but right now, I am nothing but inside a mortal body, attending the school that I kept an eye on for a long time. I happened to see your future without me in it, so I could do the same in this world, but it seems like I got stuck in this world permanently, so I might as well give it my all." He said.

Even though it is unbelievable, but he knows the future. He knows how this school works from start to finish. He knows all the school's intentions even before he enrolls in this school.

"Even though I interfered too much in the past events, but I am sure that I could do something about it. I'm not dumb to the point that I interfere with something without countermeasures in place at the start. For example, Nishikawa Ryuko in Arisu's class. Her appearance, without my existence in this world, will not ever be heard off in Kiyotaka's mind, or in the people who watched you guys' minds about the future. Now everyone talks about us more often, just because of one event that results in me getting pestered. That's why I tried to live my life, as well as not change too much about the future in this world. If I interfere too much, the future might be unknown to me and I will be unable to do anything about it." He said. (I think this part might be tricky for some of you but I think y'all could figure things out.)

Every word he said is indeed correct, Sakayanagi and I now could understand what Torikachi is implying.

"So, you wanted to say that she's irrelevant in the future without your existence?" Sakayanagi asked while breaking the fourth wall.

"I suppose you could say that. That might probably be the reason why I tried to accompany her, because, I also wanted a normal school life. She won't change anything to the outcome of our world." Torikachi replied.

"I see how it is. Fufu~" Sakayanagi said with a laugh. "So, what will you do about her? She's quite fond of you now."

"I should not settle things with her now, since I am originally from class D, so I have my defects to take care of. And it might cause chaos in our class." He replied.

"I won't surprised that you two ended up dating. She planned to confess right after your contest later in the month." She said. "It is fine for you two dating. I will allow it."

"Thank you for understanding, Arisu." He said while scratching his head. "Then I will not turn her down. And I hope you enjoy our performance when it is our showtime."

"I'm surprised that you know I will attend the event."

"Well, both Ryuko and snake told me about it." He replied. "He paid me the points to buy the 2 best seats, so I assumed that the other seat will be yours."

"So that's why Totsuka Yahiko even betrayed Katsuragi's orders during the cruise test."

"It happens," Torikachi replied. "Say, Kiyotaka. I will pay for your seat, so please come to see my performance."

Torikachi invited me out for witnessing the plays, and he already paid for the best seat for me.

"I guess I have no reasons for denying this invitation," I said.

"Good. Now let's get you some ice-creams." Torikachi replied while luring me to the road of heavens. "Would you like to accompany us, Arisu?"

"Fufu~ Of course. I would like to try some." Sakayanagi replied with a smile, agreeing Torikachi's invitation.

We leave the special annex and bought ourselves some ice-creams.

"Even though it is autumn, but having ice cream at this time isn't that bad," I said.

"Maybe it was because of the Sports Festival," Torikachi replied. "We are all exhausted from today, so let us let loose ourselves a bit."

"Fufu~ such an interesting development between you two," Sakayanagi said while licking her ice-cream cone.

"Well, I guess I already decided to help him, so might as well do things for him," Torikachi replied as he get close to Sakayanagi for a small talk.

I could not hear what he said but I could hear Sakayanagi's words.

"I will take your entire stock. Fufu~" she said as her face appears to have red tints on her cheeks. I'm not sure if I will be safe after today. (If y'all could figure it out then you know.)

However, I had a good time, to have an opponent that I can face, to fight against my father's ideas and creations, and to have my freedom permanently in the future.

This is the end of V5Y1. I know, a lot of skips and too many extra scenes. Well, mostly OC for more character developments within the unusual trio, so yeah, bear with it.

Of course, there will be more SS for character developments too.

Also, I noticed that the music contest might be right after the Paper Shuffle test announcement.

I originally was going to put the contest on Oct 20th for celebrating Kiyo's birthday, so yeah, Oct 20th.

Next up, V6Y1. This time, Kushida will have her facade destroyed.

What would she do?

What was Torikachi's "certain business" that he talked about during the festival?

Shall Ryuko accept the true Torikachi? The defective side of his, will it be revealed?
