Mariko is kind of the mom friend of the group, pretty nice but also logical. She won't throw herself into something she can't handle, which can be both a good and a bad thing. Whilst she knows her own strengths and weaknesses pretty well, she does often underestimate herself, especially in public - she's scared to show confidence and then fail.
