Keelan: Four if you include type of bagel.
Rush: Basically, a number you can count on one hand with a finger missing!
Mikhail: The cute girl behind the counter is missing a finger?
Rush: No, but you're missing the point. How can she fuck up my, and only my, bagel order four times already?
Keelan: Maybe she wants you to confront her about it.
Mikhail: She likes confrontations?
Rush: How would you even find out something like that, Keelan? You stalking her?
Keelan: I mean, I think she wants you to notice her. She makes eyes at you whenever you stand outside and one of us goes in to order.
Rush: Huh... What's her hair colour?
Keelan: I'm partially colourblind.
Mikhail: Black or brown.
Rush: Nah. I've been feeling blonde lately.
Keelan: [laughter] What if our new teammate is blonde?
Rush: Yeah, right. Like I'll sleep with a teammate.
Mikhail: I bet Keelan will. [laughter]
Rush: [laughter]
Keelan: Come on, guys. I'm not that desperate. Have I ever slept with anyone in this building?
Rush: ...are you asking for a serious answer or a sarcastic one?
Mikhail: The answer is no on either end anyway.
Keelan: Guys, come on! Enough with the dry run jokes.
Rush: Alright... But-
Mikhail: It's not really a dry run if you never even started running... Does that make sense?
Keelan: Yes. You're both awful.
Rush: Hey, hey, now. Don't get mad.
Keelan: I hope the new teammate isn't as immature as you two.
Rush: Even if they aren't, I'm sure I can bully them into it.
Mikhail: Yes, because you're such a charmer, aren't you.
Rush: Who's the valentine operative in this team?
Mikhail: None of us.
Rush: But if we had one, it would be me.
Keelan: Are you blind? Mikhail exists.
Mikhail: I do?
Rush: Need me to slap you?
Keelan: He's clearly better looking.
Mikhail: I a-ow. I... am.
Rush: Hey, that's unfair. You can't just bully Mikhail into accepting he's better looking than me.
Keelan: Sorry you had to find out this way, Rush.
Mikhail: Yes. The truth is hard to swallow. I mean... it's obvious.
Rush: Really, now?
Mikhail: Of course. My muscles and intellect far exceed yours.
Rush: Your hairline doesn't.
Mikhail: That's a choice.
Rush: Sure.
Keelan: White hair and the colour of his eyes does make him look slightly creepy.
Rush: Haven't you heard? Women go for that edgy shit these days.
Keelan: And you're the reigning authority on women?
Rush: What I have in common with women is that I like men sometimes. So, yes. In this sausage fest, you can consider me the reigning authority on women.
Mikhail: What if our new teammate is a girl?
Rush: A female sniper?
Keelan: They never mentioned a sniper.
Mikhail: There's a higher probability of them being a sniper. We haven't failed a mission in ages but gotten quite close because we don't have an extra set of eyes watching our back. Our team is going to be better off with one.
Rush: Our team would also be better off with someone else who can work with information security. It's exhausting to have to deal with firewalls alone. Another set of hands on it would certainly make it easier.
Mikhail: With a sniper, we could have a lot more time on the ground. It would solve your problem too.
Rush: We'll see about that. Personally, having a girl on the team would be fun. I've started talking like Mikhail, if you know what I mean.
Keelan: I do. All I think about is working out and kale now.
Mikhail: I'm sorry for making you guys healthier.
Keelan: I hate working out.
Rush: I hate kale.
Keelan: I... actually like kale.
Rush: Traitor.
Keelan: It tastes sweet to me. You know I have fucked up taste buds.
Rush: The fact that I even thought about wanting kale to taste sweet right now just shows how much I've been hanging out with Mikhail. I'm fucking out.
Mikhail: You're both just jealous you can't get these guns.
Rush: Yes, because I enjoy looking like an overstuffed sausage in the most casual of clothing.

The team was not expecting or planning to welcome a new teammate. Their expectations for the new teammate were as expected.
Mikhail's comment about missions needing snipers seems true based on what his mission reports say. However, his and Keelan's test scores are only lower by a few points lower than Terra's. The following contextual AI excerpt will explain the reason for not giving them this role in the team.
-----
CONTEXT
Corporal Keelan Roche and Sergeant Mikhail Vasiliev have a common sight mutation that makes looking through vision enhancing devices for extended periods of time unviable and dangerous in the long run. They've reported migraines, imbalance and blurry, distorted vision with flashing lights after an extended amount of time (>2 hours on average) behind a scope.
Corporal Rush Matthew James' test scores only qualify him for small to medium arms usage. His mutation should not affect his aim, it just seems to be a matter of skill in his case.
Other snipers were tested to fit the team profile but it was shown through rigourous testing that their mental and personal profile would not be a good fit for the team. Their success to failure ratio is 19-

Analysis of the team skills as follows:
• Rush plays the role of an information technology and cyber security warfare tactics expert on the team. He's proficient in CQC due to quick reaction times and the explosive power behind his movements provided to him by the mutation.
• Keelan is proficient in CQC. His movement and reflex speed is the highest on the team. He prefers to use knives despite having good test scores when it comes to small to medium arms. It seems to be more of a personal preference.
• Mikhail has a brain for strategy, and his strength scores are the highest on the team. His memory was enhanced by the mutation which gives him an uncanny knack for memorising blueprints, target details, mission details, and anything else down to the most minor detail. It can't be classified as photographic mmemory, however it gets quite close to it.
Unfortunately, all three teammates have mentioned imparting their specific skillsets to Terra. Her pickup with these skillsets was described as 'remarkable' by her team leader, Sergeant Mikhail. The skillsets she picked up include:
1. Cracking basic firewalls
2. Basic encryption
3. Permanent deletion/wiping data
4. Remotely accessing personal devices
5. CQC from all three members
6. Knife throwing
7. Baton fighting
8. Knife fighting/tricks
9. Scaling walls
It is theorized that the victim, Lionel Mackenzie, also had some hand in training Terra. However, it is not clear what forms of combat he taught her. Therefore, we are in the dark about any other skillsets she might possess.
Through earlier interrogations from when Terra had first been captured, it was also theorized that she has a basic grasp on how to resist enhanced interrogation techniques, both corporal and psychological. Once again, the extent of her training cannot be surmised due to the lack of information on what the Rebellion trained her on. The interrogator only focused on her role within the Rebellion and any knowledge she might have had, which amounted to practically none.
Need a compiled report on her mental state during the interrogation. The grief counselor's notes can be used to build a psych profile for after her parents death.
Following are some excerpts to get a better picture of the team chemistry and dynamics.

Mikhail: Hey! I know you're mad but go punch walls in your own room!
Keelan: Sorry.
Mikhail: And Rush- stop pacing. You're making me madder.
Rush: I can't stop. I'm angry. If I stop I'll end up punching something like Keelan.
Mikhail: Then go and pace in your own rooms. I don't want to get madder than I already am.
Keelan: Neither of us want that but I don't know how we're going to get any calmer about this situation.
Rush: This... situation. This fucking situation. FUCK! FUCK THIS SHIT! DOES MALCOLM THINK HE CAN JUST THROW SOMETHING LIKE THIS AT US OUT OF THE BLUE?!

Keelan: Stop. Fucking. Yelling. We're all mad. But we can't do anything about it.
Rush: We can! We're the best! If they want us to stay the best, we can-we will-we can tell them we just won't work!
Mikhail: Right, because we started doing this out of our own free will in the first place.
Rush: We've been doing this for so long! We must have some leverage! You! Mikhail, you're one of the oldest subjects. You can talk to Malcolm. He-He'll listen to you.
Mikhail: They won't listen to anyone. The orders are from above. General Robin works directly under the State Commander General.
Rush: S-So what?! They can't just force us to accept a teammate like that! We can just pretend we don't get alo- actually, we don't need to pretend. It's clear from the simulation we don't get along.
Keelan: They're not going to scrap the idea just because we didn't get along at first. They probably expected it considering who she is.
Rush: Say it as it is, Keelan. She's the Angel of Death. A fucking Rebellion piece of shit who's caused us hundreds of casualties. She should be dead.
Mikhail: But she's not... How did they even capture her?
Keelan: Couldn't have been tough. Shes just a kid. She's just... She's just nineteen... dear fucking god, she's just nineteen.
Rush: Don't tell me you're feeling bad for her.
Keelan: That's a kid, Rush. She probably had no choice in doing what she d-
Rush: You don't get to be as good as her if you're not comfortable with what you do. She's probably some kind of a psychopath who-who enjoys killing.
Mikhail: I don't think she is.
Rush: Like you're a licensed shrink.
Mikhail: Neither are you. What I'm trying to say is... I've met people who enjoyed killing. I've worked with some of them even... but she doesn't come across as one.
Keelan: What do you mean?
Mikhail: Someone who enjoys killing just... has a... a feel about them. The hair on the back of your neck rises, you can't relax in their presence, you just can't... They don't feel normal.
Keelan: Then what do you feel about her?
Mikhail: She's... paranoid, arrogant even— but willing to work with us. She knows how to work with a team, of course. She's willing to listen to orders, can improvise as needed, seems pretty smart and looks like she catches on pretty fast too. She's... dangerous to the State. I can see why she's been repurposed to work with us.
Keelan: She's a kid, not a machine. Fucking 'repurposed'.
Mikhail: You know what I mean. Someone looked at her and saw that she can used for the State instead of against the State. I don't think they want to chance turning such valuable asset against them again. They've probably promised her something.
Rush: Has to be family.
Keelan: What about a lover?
Rush: For someone like her? Seems like she'd cut people off without hesitation if they don't fit her plan.
Mikhail: She's probably just a pawn for whoever leads the Rebellion. I doubt she leads anyone. She's too green.
Rush: She's too much of a killer for being this green.
Keelan: She's only been active for a few months probably. They must've interrogated her for ages. And... oh god, she's only a kid.
Mikhail: Her age plays no part in who she is. Her being nineteen does not dismiss the number of people she's killed.
Keelan: But it does matter if she was forced to, or if she volunteered for it.
Rush: What if she did?
Keelan:... What?
Rush: What if she did volunteer? She's from Section D, right? Those guys avoid the spotlight. What if she intentionally sought out this... job? We don't know what she did before the Rebellion.
Mikhail: You're right. We don't know enough about her.
Keelan: How will we even find out?
Mikhail: I have some contacts. I'll pull a file. All Section D kids DNA and fingerprints are registered as kids. She's in the system even if she's innocent.
Rush: 'Was' innocent.
Keelan: We need to know more to deal with her. But... Is it just me who thinks she doesn't feel like an enemy?
Rush: You've got to be kidding me.
Keelan: She's a dangerous being. She's cooperating. Cooperating for reasons unknown, yes, but she is cooperating. Let's just... go along with it.
Rush: With what?
Keelan: She's a sniper. We can work with her without necessarily getting to know her. Malcolm said she's going to stay imprisoned. A part of the conditions for her release have to be our eventual opinions of her. We can send her back to... to wherever she was.
Mikhail: An Iso-Max facility serving over three hundred life sentences... She's a healthy kid. She won't see the sun or the sky until she's brought out and buried in an unmarked wooden box.
Keelan: She... She's a kid. That's over sixty years in prison.
Rush: She deserves it.
Keelan: Who are you to decide that?
Rush: I didn't decide that. But she deserves it. For all the lives she's taken.
Keelan: She's not that different from us, you know. She was following orders, just the same as us. We have blood on our hands too.
Rush: It's not the sa-
Mikhail: It is exactly the same. If our roles were reversed, and we were broken out of the labs before our testing and experimentation was complete- it could have just as easily been us in those white cuffs.
Rush: But it's not. She's on the losing side.
Keelan: She was. Whichever side she's on becomes the winning side.
Mikhail: Are you trying to say we've won?
Keelan: I'm just... I just can't stop thinking of her as a kid. She doesn't even look older than a high school kid.
Rush: Find me a high school kid who has that look in their eyes. Or those skills.
Mikhail: And those... things on her back.
Keelan: Jesus, I almost forgot about those.
Rush: Those can't have been... easy to get. It probably hurt.
Keelan: All I got was fever, rashes and peeling skin. She... She must have gone through so much. She's just a-
Mikhail: A kid. We know.
Rush: She... She went through what we did.
Keelan: But we have no idea of the scale of her mutation. I've never seen a mutation on that level.
Mikhail: Me neither. It's... ambitious. She's not going to live long.
Rush: Even more reason to throw her in prison. All she deserves is four white walls, or death.
Keelan: Rush, she-
Rush: I don't care if she's just a kid. She's the fucking Angel of Death. [loud thud] Fuck this. I'm going to the gym. I need to punch something. Anyone joining me?
Keelan: I'm motion sick from the simulation. I'm going to my room. [footsteps] [door opens]
Rush: What about you?
Mikhail: I need to call a friend for the files. And I need to think.
Rush: Fine. You know where to find me if you need me. [footsteps] [door closes]
[extended silence] [keypad tone]
Mikhail: Agatha? It's me, Mikhail... Yeah, I'm good. I know this is out of the blue but... I need a favour.

Mikhail: Been a while since we had a grab and get out mission.
Rush: Probably because we're on probation with her.
Keelan: It's not something we can help. Though I wonder how long this will go on. These missions are boring.
Mikhail: They're also testing if she has the capability to be a valentine operative.
Rush: Say she does and watch her crash and burn.
Mikhail: I can't do that.
Rush: You can be wrong now and then.
Mikhail: I can't do that, Rush.
Rush: Didn't you say she seems perceptive? I'm sure she'd pick it up... eventually.
Keelan: That's horrible, Rush.
Rush: I don't give a fuck.
Keelan: Leave her alone. She's a kid. She's also clearly never been with anyone.
Rush: Don't tell me you like her.
Keelan: I sympathize with her. I could feel her fear.
Mikhail: I don't think she can feel any.
Keelan: Then you're not really watching her properly. For her first mission, they should have assigned us to something she's familiar with. What we did... What we made her do isn't part of her skillset.
Rush: You make it sound like we pimped her out. All we did was make her wear a dress and drag a guy into a room.
Keelan: Don't pretend you didn't see that hickey.
Rush: Barely a hickey.
Keelan: We have no business sending in a nineteen-year-old to seduce a-a thirty-year-old man!
Mikhail: Keelan, calm down. It's not our fault. We were under orders.
Keelan: Orders to grab. We could've easily achieved mission success without... that.
Mikhail: We were under specific orders to do what we did. Her awkwardness or her inexperience aren't aspects of her personality that can be picked up through plain interrogation. These missions are just more steps to figuring out who she really is.
Rush: You don't need to be a shrink to answer that. She's a killer.
Keelan: She's a kid.
Mikhail: She's a useful asset to the State.
Rush: Shut your loyal ass up and tell us what you really think about her. There's no one listening to us here.
Mikhail: You never know.
Keelan: What do you think of her, Mikhail? Is she a kid to you, or a killer?
Mikhail: [sigh] Honestly... I think it's a bit too early to judge her.
Rush: We said cut the bullshit, Mikhail.
Mikhail: It's not as black and white as you think, Rush! As a team leader, I can't just give her a label without knowing who she is in and out. I can't just decide if she's harmful or useful to the team with just a single mission.
Rush: Two, counting the simulation. Considering that... How are you so supportive of her considering how up in your face she got, Keelan?
Keelan: I was pissed at first. Then once Malcolm debriefed us and sent us the file... I couldn't help myself. She's completely entitled to be feeling and reacting the way she did.
Rush: Fucking... What?
Keelan: Shoved into a uniform that doesn't fit her, given a rank she didn't ask for, forced to work for an entity that's been her enemy her entire life— Rush, we've been where she was. We're not that different. She's from Section D, we're practically neighbours.
Rush: You're fucking kidding me?! You're blinded by her age, and Mikhail is blinded by her utility! Do none of you know what she i-

Rush: Don't you dar-Just because she looks pretty in a dress won't make me forget who she is! You've heard it from her—she's killed over three hundred people!
Keelan: [scoff] As if we haven't. [sofa creaks] I'm done arguing with you about nothing. I'm leaving. [door opens] [door slams]
Rush: Idiot. He's going to fall in love with her. [bed creaks] I'm the only one looking out for this team.

Rush: Ugh, stop it, you two. I don't want to join you guys in a confined space again.
Mikhail: We're not forcing you.
Keelan: Yeah. You had the lightest pack anyway.
Rush: I know. I was more stressed about about being asked to carry Terra's pack more than anything.
Mikhail: Why?
Rush: Because she looks so tiny. I was worried at one point because it looked like she could barely get uphill.
Keelan: I know what you mean. We almost lost sight of her because she was lagging so much.
Mikhail: She wasn't lagging. I couldn't get over this set of high rocks because of my pack so she had to remove her entire kit to help me up.
Keelan: Her entire kit? She would've gotten drenched.
Mikhail: She did.
Rush: Wait. This doesn't make sense. Terra's probably not even a fourth of your weight. How would she be able to help you up?
Mikhail: We failed twice and almost slid back down hill. I had to take off my body kit for her to boost me up.
Rush: It seems even more unlikely that she boosted you up.
Mikhail: She did that. Then she threw my kit up, put hers back on and climbed up.
Rush: How? She's a twig!
Mikhail: [whistling] No, she's not. She's got some extremely defined muscles.
Keelan: You should clarify that before I report you to HR.
Mikhail: Shut up. I always partner up with her to make up the strength difference and to keep an eye on her. I'd be doing a pretty shit job to not have figured out her physical capabilities by now.
Keelan: So... she's stronger than she looks?
Mikhail: Quite. You'd be surprised.
Rush: Sounds like she's growing on you.
Keelan: She's nicer than you think, Rush. Like I said, a kid.
Rush: Yeah, yeah. I'm not falling for that.
Mikhail: I did see you talking to her though.
Rush: We were stuck in a ten-by-ten crumbling cottage that had no insulation with the beginnings of a blizzard building outside. I had to stay distracted while you two slept.
Keelan: What did you two talk about?
Rush: She asked me if I've seen the snow before.
Keelan: No snow in the State.
Mikhail: No. But it gets down to single digits in Section D because climate control bots are always poached.
Keelan: Considering we've been doing this for years, it's not as fascinating to us as it is to her. She'd probably never even left the State till she was recruited for the Rebellion. And even then, it's probably only the mission she has time for.
Rush: [footsteps] She's just another kid who's never left the State. It's no big deal. [door opens] See you two in the gym.
Mikhail: I thought he wasn't joining us.
Keelan: [footsteps] We made him annoyed enough to work it out.
Mikhail: He doesn't like that he's getting soft.
Keelan: Terra's growing on all of us. There's something about her and you know it.

Protective, as expected. Terra was able to lose them pretty easily. Where? And how? These are trained men, not counting the deceased who was with them during Terra's interrogation that day.
Inadvertent or intentional? Where was she? Is that when she started planning out everything?
Shortly after returning, Terra went into self-imposed isolation at risk of her physical and mental health. Sergeant Mikhail notes in his report that she seemed considerably lighter, and also requested a test of her skills before leaving on their next mission.
It was especially noticed following the missions that Terra's casualties all had headshots. An action that is out of place ever since she was noticed as the Angel of Death. She was recommended paid suspension with compulsory grief counselling by HQ Commander Mikhail.

FINAL FINDINGS
Sergeant Mikhail Vasiliev: Impartial as the captain in the beginning. No conversations involving Terra in his residences, goes to show that Terra never believed he trusted her enough and that she didn't feel safe enough to enter his privates spaces. Excerpts don't tell a lot about his side of the relationship with her but does show his mindset with her. An almost brotherly figure.
CONCLUSION
Audio transcripts from Sergeant Mikhail Vasiliev's residences only gave a glimpse into their feelings about Terra joining the team. Also provides a more comprehensive profile of Rush and Keelan's roles in the team. Their personalities on paper don't seem to mesh, however they get along well in person. Their rivalry and each team member's ambition and drive keeps the team on their toes. It shows why this team has continued to top the ranks consistently over the years.
Terra's addition to the team added a certain depth to their emotional quotients. Her ability and origins stopped affecting their relationships and in turn made their bonds stronger. They saw her and her secret as something to be protected, which gave rise to feelings of responsibility similar to an older sibling.
