I groan, twisting in the sheets tangled around me to stare at my other side, feeling the empty bed beside me.

I sit up slightly, the sheet falling to pool at my naked waist and I scan the darkness of the loft, light emanating from under the bathroom mirror.

The door opens and Seb appears, the light bathing his body in gold, highlighting the harsh shadows of his muscles and the stubble speckled across his jaw.

He shuts the light off, slipping us into darkness and I hear him walking for the bed before my eyes adjust.

The bed dips, "Come here." He beckons my closer and I scoot across, his arms curling around my waist and pulling us both back into the matters, Seb forcing my body to curl around his.

I get comfortable, resting my head along his chest, the heat of his skin keeping my body warm to the touch.

I beg sleep to come but she stays far away, keeping distance.

Judging by the rhythm of Sebastian's breaths, he is the same.

I twist my body more to face him, searching for his gaze in the shadows.

His arms tightens around me and he hums low in his throat, prompting me to open my mouth.

"Who was he?" I ask the question I'd been wanting to ask since we'd left that morning.

Seb was silent for a second as his hand moved, curling around my wrist, brushing along the scars there.

"He was a dead man walking." He answers and I grin despite the subject of the conversation.

"He's a part of a past that I needed to cut off for good, and I wouldn't be able to leave the past where it belongs if he was still breathing." Seb murmurs, his voice soft and filled with the memories tumbling through his mind right now.

"I'm glad he is dead." I whisper, hearing the pain in his voice and feeling my own answer.

"Me too." Seb mutters, his fingers drumming absently along my skin. "Soon they will both be dead."

I don't say anything for a second, unsure how to tread across the floor that lay between us.

"He was a part of a team, the two of them would-" he breathes out, "they would beat me and my brothers, force us to watch as the others were beaten, gives us things any child would want just to rip them away a day, a month, even three months later, lull us into a false sense of security. Me and my brothers got to a point where we never even enjoyed the little things, knowing they would be ripped away."

"How old were you?"

"I was seven the first time." Sebastian says, "Romeo was nine. Liam was four."

A pang slices through my chest and I curl tighter into Sebastian's body.

"He deserved every bullet you shot into him." I murmur.

Sebastian grunts in agreement, the world falling silent around us again.

I twirl my fingers in a figure eight pattern against Sebastian's chest, watching the rise and fall of his chest as he quietens, his heart beating steadily below my ear.

I tilt my head, looking up at the man, his face contemplative as he relives the memories of his childhood and I hum low in my throat, not wanting to startle him.

Sebs eyes flick down to me and he smiles, the move brightening his whole face, giving the dark man a boyish appearance.

I lean forward and slip a kiss across his lips before settling back into my spot.

"Who was the other person?" I murmur quietly, not wanting to disrupt the peace encompassing us.

Sebastian's body freezes for a second under me before he relaxes, his hand moving to rest on my shoulder, beginning to drag his finger up and down my arm softly as I await his answer.

"You don't have to-" I begin when he soft answer cuts me off.

"We called her mother." He murmurs and I swallow the tight lump in my throat. "But her real name is Blair Wilford."

"Do you know where she lives?" I say after a minute of silence.

"I've always known where she was, always kept track of her even when she tried to hide."

"Why not kill her before now?"

"I didn't have the strength before now." He murmurs, his fingers stopping their ministrations of my arm and he moves them to my chin, tilting my face up to his, "But I've recently been shown how to find it."

He kisses me then, softly, sweetly, the words unspoken between us but he doesn't have to voice them.

Because I know, I understand him.

I kiss him back, letting my eyes fall shut as I follow his lead, his presence blanketing me in warmth.

I pull back after a moment and grace a finger across his lips, "When do you want to kill her?"

Sebs lips lift at the corners just slightly.

"Tomorrow." He whispers, "Today I just want to be with you."

"Okay." I whisper back, placing a kiss against his jawline before settling into the cocoon of his warmth.

My eyes flutter shut as Sebastian begins to drag his fingers along my skin once more.

Sleep claims me quickly.

The warehouse is silent when I wake, Sebastians spot beside me cool to the touch, sheet wrapped dangerously around my legs.

I sit up, untangling my limbs from the sheet and push from the bed, wrapping the sheet around my body. I glance to the side at the bathroom, but the door sits open, the room inside empty and I move for the stairs.

The creak slightly under my weight in the silent loft, my gaze slipping from the empty kitchen to the empty lounge room.

The cold touch of the concrete on my feet wakes me a little more, my spine tense as I look around the abandoned warehouse, no sign of Sebastian anywhere.

I soft noise reaches my ears and I snap my head in the direction, narrowing my gaze on the door that stands ajar beside the stairs.

Walking closer, I lay a palm flat on the wood, pushing the door the rest of the way open and glance down the dark staircase leading to the basement.

Breathing out softly, I descend the first few stairs, pausing halfway down when my eyes catch sight of the man facing away from me, Sebs body clothed in a long sleeve black button up, and black jeans.

"Sebastian?" I call out softly, tightening the sheet around my body when he turns around and I see what's behind him, my eyes sweeping down the unconscious woman's form, her body strapped tightly into a chair, grey strands falling out of what I suppose was a neat bun.

Sebastian walks closer to me, a hand held out to mine and I slip my fingers into his warm palm, letting him lead me down the rest of the stairs until I reach the bottom level and look up at him.

"Is that her?" I murmur softly.

Sebastians head moves slightly, staring at the unconscious woman briefly before nodding and glancing back at me.

My eyes slip between his, seeing the darkness lingering beneath the pain so obvious in his dark gaze and I reach up on my tiptoes, pressing a soft kiss to his lips and let my body fall back before I push him for more.

Sebastians hands fall to my hips, fingering the sheet between his thumb and forefinger and he lifts a brow.

"Do you make it a habit of torturing people practically naked?" He husks, pulling my body into his by the sheet, "Because I am not complaining."

I laugh softly, shaking my head. "I'll go get changed."

"No." Seb mutters, stepping back slightly to unbutton his shirt and slip it off his shoulder. He nods at me to remove the sheet and I do, unwrapping it from my body and letting it pool at my feet before watching Sebastian slip his shirt over my shoulders, my arms slipping through the holes, all while my gaze sweeps over his face, the small grin on his lips pulling at my heart strings.

His eyes snap up to mine, dark with desire while he buttons up the shirt, his fingertips skimming up my lower stomach to my chest, the grin on his face positively evil.

Who knew it could be just as hot to be dressed by someone as it was to be undressed?

His head ducks down, pressing a soft kiss to my lips as he fastens to the last button, hands falling to roll up the sleeves.

"Lilac, I-" He's cut off when a groan echoes across the room, bouncing along the cement walls. Both of us whip our heads to the woman as she rouses from her unconscious state, eyes fluttering open.

Her gaze finds Sebs first, narrowing. "Sebastian? What-"

"Hello Blair." He cuts her off, spinning to face her and she rears back, looking as if she was slapped across the face.

"You're all grown up." She mutters, her voice almost taking on a motherly edge.

He ignores her words, turning to a table set up along the wall and picking an item from the many displayed.

I watch silently as he walks back to her, Blair watching him with a keen eye.

"What are you doing, Sebastian?" Her words are soft, spoken as if she was speaking to a child.

"I'm doing what should have been done a long time ago." He answers, flashing the pliers at her.

Her body tenses in the seat and her eyes flash to mine before finding Sebastian again as he walks back and forth in front of her.

"Who is she?" She snaps, as if she has the control in the room and not the man in front of her, the dangerous edge to his movements a warning against speaking out against him.

Sebastian turns his head to lock eyes with me, "She is none of your concern." he mutters, turning to look back at Blair. "You won't be leaving here alive so there's no point."

She rears back as if he'd slapped her, "Sebastian John." She rasps out, "How dare you speak to me like that, I am your mother."

"You are not my mother." he mutters harshly.

"Not by blood." She whispers back, "But I raised you all the same."

Sebastian flashes her a malicious smile and my skin pebbles, "Yes, and you raised me to be a killer."

She harrumphs and I could imagine her crossing her arms if she could move them. "You wont kill me."

Sebastian ignores her, turning to me and I step into his awaiting arms, letting it curl around me as he leans down to my ear, lips skimming the shell when he murmurs, "Should I start with cutting out her tongue or ripping out her nails first?"

My eyes skim past his shoulder, the silence building between us before I reply, "I love it when you speak dirty to me."

He laughs and the sounds shoots straight through me.

"Her nails." I finally answer the question, "I want to hear her scream first." I look back to the walk-in, letting the humane mask in always forced to wear drop, "The sounds not the same when you cut out their tongue, too disjointed."

Sebastians head dips and he murmurs against my cheek, "As you wish." Before placing a kiss there.

He turns, my eyes still connected to Blairs, her eyes narrowed suspiciously before she moves to track Sebastian when he walks towards her.

"Now, be a dear Blair and hold still for me." He chuckles before moving the pliers to her hands, her finger twitching as she tries in vain to move.

"Sebastian, you don't want to do this." Her voice is heightened with emotion, fear permeating the air.

He laughs, the sound dark. "Yes, I do."

Her screams hit the air like a cacophony of pain, and I lean back against the wall, watching the show unfold.

Blairs body slumps in the chair, a babble of noise exiting her lips before she stops, her own ruby red blood staining her floral dress, grey hair clinging to her sweat soaked face.

Sebastian steps back from her, his blood-soaked hands falling to his sides before he turns to me and opens his arms. I step into them, curling my arms around him and looking up into his face.

"You okay?"

He breathes out before looking towards the dying woman and back to me, "I thought I would feel different after it. I've spent years dreaming of this and I thought after I did it, I would feel different." His shoulder drop and he pulls me tighter into his arms, "But I don't."

I nod, resting my head on his chest, "Thats one thing I had to learn, that no matter what I did or who I killed in the name of revenge, it didn't change who I was or what happened, I just had to go on."

Sebastian doesn't reply, dropping his head to rest it on mine, tightening me in a hug before pulling back.

I lift my head, turning my face up to his when he leans down and kisses me, slipping his tongue into my mouth and murmurs against my lips, "I'm taking you for a shower and then I'm going to take you to my bed and fuck you until you scream, do you have a problem with that?"

My breath catches in my throat, and I shake my head, moving my hands to curl them around his neck, jumping as he catches me against his body, pulling me into him, his hands resting at my ass and he turns to the stairs, ascending them.
