Chapter 6

 I ignored the crowd around us and their whispers. I need to concentrate on the matter at hand. You see, to understand this situation, I need to go back to the beginning. Me and my rival have been fighting over this guy for months now and we both decided recently that we had to settle this once and for all! I know I’m not a beautiful girl like her, but my looks are ok, so I have a chance. I’m not giving up that easily till he chooses one of us!!

We tried everything. Sabotaging each other, calling each other names and more. Now at this moment we’re both waiting for Will’s decision. We both waited with bated breaths. I was nervous and I was hoping he’d choose. I  had a sudden thought and I thought to myself. Just what am I doing? Is this really worth it? I’ve been causing so much trouble for this, for Will! 

I interrupted Will. “Nevermind!” “Natasha, you can have him!’ Everyone gasped. I looked at Will. “I know that this is not like me, but I’ve always gotten the feeling that  you actually prefer Natasha over me”  “So with that why hope you’ll still choose me? I’ll only end up heartbroken”  I continued talking. “There’s a guy I’ve also liked, apart from you Will” “And it breaks my heart that I never noticed he felt the same way” “I never noticed his advances and I’ve been rejecting him this whole time”

“I’m going to tell him how I feel” “You wanna know something funny, I was in love with you and he was in love with Natasha, but the both of you like each other”  “Now me and Noel are both in love with each other” “Anyway, It’s not my place to interfere if that's the case” “I sincerely hope you treat Natasha well!”  Will nodded, blushing. “I know she’s somewhat of a jerk, but she deserves the best, because I know why she has been acting like this” “She’s been pressured by her family to do too perfectly and she’s only human” “It didn’t help that there’s been rumors circulating around of her” “So she snapped and started bullying others to vent” 

“Try to understand” “I’m not saying that her sad background excuses her actions” I finished leaving everyone in silence. I looked at Natasha who had tears rolling down her face. She fell down and started sobbing. She was profusely apologizing to everyone that was gathered. Will bent down as well and parted the hair from her face. He wiped the tears away and kissed her. 

 Everyone was cheering for the couple. The two got up and Natasha ran towards me. I didn’t expect the hug or apology she gave me, but I accepted them. I wasn’t feeling too much grudge. We both bullied each other, so I wasn’t any better than her. We shook hands and decided to start afresh and become friends. I hugged Will and I heard a voice and I turned knowing who it was. I ran and hugged him. “Noel!” “So, I’m guessing you heard that?” He nodded and laughed as he twirled me around. “Yeah and I’m glad you feel the same” “You came to your senses and realized that your love was one-sided” “I’m glad you avoided the heartbreak” 

“I didn’t want you to feel that” He put his head against mine and held me. It was nice, although I was dangling. His arms were strong and he was so warm. I pecked him on the cheek and he blushed.  He recovered and said, “That wasn’t a proper kiss!” I smirked. “Then shut up and kiss me” “Show me what your proper kiss is like”  I underestimated him. His kiss was gentle, yet intense and I was left breathless as he pulled apart. I laughed, feeling happy. “I love you,” Noel said softly. I rolled my eyes and replied,  “I love you too dork”

      It was like we were in our own little world.

   Nothing else mattered.
