2. Age?

Martin Luther King Jr had once said, "age is just a number. It carries no weight. The real weight is in impacts. The truth is that you can do it at any age. Get up and be willing to leave a mark."

3. What are your Hobbies?

I have always been a voracious reader, and writing came into the picture a bit later in my life. But ever since I realized my unrelenting passion for writing, there was no going back.

4. When did you start your journey as an author?

My penmanship dates back to 2007, but it consisted of predominantly journalistic and abstract writing. I forayed into fiction in 2011, and I ventured into fancfiction in 2015.

5. Did Wattpad help you improve as an author?

Absolutely. I believe, that time and experience have been imperative in honing my skill. And catering to a wider audience, challenges my notions and compels me to outdo myself, each time I write a new chapter or a story. Wattpad today, has a gigantic reach in terms of online readership. And that, in turn, impels me to push my boundaries.

6. What do you expect from your readers?

To begin with, I would like to thank each one of my readers, who have invested their time, emotions and love, into reading and liking my stories. My readers here have been extremely supportive and encouraging, and I believe, that its not just the author but the readers too, who make a successful story. So, thank you. And I hope, that they continue too shower their love and support on my ongoing and upcoming stories.

7. Did you expect yourself to be the winner?

No, not at all. For someone whose forayed into writing on Wattpad this summer, my story and I were fairly new to have been nominated for an award category, on this platform. However, as mentioned previously, the credit goes to my readers, who fervently supported my innings with Withered, and

vouched for it, week after week. And I would also like to thank a very dear friend, who pursued me to take up Withered, when I was ambivalent about writing it last year. Thank you so much !!

8. When did you come across this ARSHI fanfiction category and how did you fall in love with it?

It was on the behest of my colleague and friend, that I started writing fanfictions on Arshi, way back in 2015. And the popularity of it kept me going. There has been no looking back, so far.

9. What was the response you got when you published "Withered!!"?

Oh, the response to Withered has been phenomenal, not just on Wattpad, but on other platforms too. I had started writing and publishing Withered on other websites, early last year, and when the story tugged at the heartstrings of the readers, I decided to publish it on Wattpad. However, for a new story where the hero is actually an anti-hero and the female protagonist is grey, it got instant

fame and recognition here on this platform. Needless to say, that I have become an ardent user of the website now, penning other stories here, as well.

10. How do you describe teenage?

To put it honestly, its beguiling and precarious. It is a phase of life where you are young and impressionable, and that can be enriching and satiating, in a lot of ways.

11. Things you learned as a teenager.

Everyone's life traces its own journey, and mine was no different. It had its pros and cons, but it taught me to be independent and individualist. I learnt to be extremely self-reliant and to an extent, resilient.

12. A short message for the teenagers.

It is imperative for our vibrant and valiant young members to find their calling. Dont be afraid to shatter the stereotypes, and dont let adulation or affection misguide you. Follow your heart and believe in yourself.

13. Few words about our community.

First up, thank you so much Teenfix for bringing together this unparalleled and prodigious Fanfiction Awards. It takes a lot of resilience and meticulous planning to put forth such a miraculous feat, and the success of it, is commendable. Keep up the good work, and all the very best for the upcoming events.

14. Interview experience/ suggestions.

An interview reflects a lot about the interviewer and the interviewee, presenting a take away for the readers/audience. Hence, its imperative to frame pertinent questions, that pose a learning/ an enlightenment, and it reflects better when the experience to share is enriching. From that perspective, I hope this interview was a win-win for everyone. And I would like to thank Teenfix, for giving me this opportunity to interact with my audience. Thank you.
