Breakfast

When it was finally morning Black didn't want to get up, but Edge's sour mood was making it a struggle to stay in bed. So Black got up and got ready, he was thinking about going to work to make some distance between him and Edge.

Black heard his phone vibrate on his dresser and walked over, checking the message over, he was very happy to see it was from Classic, Classic was saying how stuck he was on his book and how he needed a distraction, Black was very happy to provide, they agreed to meet up at Cracker Barrel.

Blackberry managed to walk out of the apartment, being exhausted for his shift tonight was something he could deal with. He waited on the curb in front of the apartment. He didn't have to wait long, a couple rounds of Flappy Bird was what did it for him.

He hopped up when he saw Classic's car, Classic rolled down his window as he pulled up, Black walked to the door and leaned into the car by the open window.

"Looks even better in the daylight." Black smiled

"thanks, now ready to go?" Classic unlocked the door with a happy little grin. Black opened the door and hopped on inside.

"The car looks great too." Blackberry winked as he buckled in.

Lust always said to get to know someone better flirting was always best. So Black was trying that out, no harm in a little flirt right?

A light blue slightly dusted Classic's face as he started to drive "not too bad yourself hotshot."

Blackberry chuckled as he blushed back, the ride seemed to go by so fast, and their smiles not once fell from their faces. Even when they got to the establishment and got a table, though their talking did settle down quite a bit.

Black crossed his legs and picked up one of those triangular peg games, "You know this place is always packed after eight, I'm  just saying we're lucky to have gotten a table." he messed with the peg.

"I guess so?" Classic watched him, Black took this as his chance to continue talking.

"There is usually so many people, I don't mind it, I actually find it kinda interesting don't you think? All of these people being united under a single roof. Good people, bad, neutral... they are all the same once they are eating a meal..." Black fidgeted with the peg, realizing he spouted on for too long. Classic saw this and gave a short of short chuckle.

"that's accurate, when you think about it, no one intentionally shoots in a restaurant."

Black looked up, he could definitely contradict that, "That's not all that true, bars are restaurants. Fast food establishments are restaurants, and there is plenty of shooting in the downtown area." Blackberry stopped seeing Classic frown.

"oh..." Classic squeaked out. Blackberry internally wanted to die now.

"Well, shootings are very rare in Killer's bar, because Killer would rather kick their asses or shoot them than have someone bring a gun in his bar." Black spewed out, and started playing the peg game, he frowned at the outcome.

"Eggnoramoose..." He read. He pouted when he heard Classic giggling

Black had half the mind to actually throw the game across the room, but instead he set the game back up and slid it to the snickering Classic. "You try."

Classic smiled coyly and played leaving a singular peg on the board, Blackberry sat there dumbfounded.

"You... How?!" Blackberry practically screeched.

Classic leaned on the table and winked "strategy~"

Blackberry took the game back and played until their food arrived, Black having Pecan Pancakes and Classic having French Toast and hashbrowns.

"How long have you lived here? In the city I mean?" He asked after a few bites of his pancakes.

"at least five years." Classic shrugged

"Five? Have you explored much?" Black asked, it was a big city, perhaps there was something he could show Classic.

"I have quite a bit of free time, but I've only explored near my area." Classic admitted as he stuffed a bit of hashbrown in his mouth.

"Great! That means I have some things to show you!" Black smiled

"can you drive?" Classic chuckled, the question seemed so random and caught Blackberry off guard.

"Well, yeah I can... but I'd rather walk if it's all the same to you." Black shifted.

"then what about the car? should I just drop it off at my apartment?" Classic hummed, Black blinked, 'now?'

"Yeah that would be perfect. But I think we should set it up on a different day, like a day I am off of work?" Black gave a hesitant smile.

Classic gave a nod "okay"

"Ummmm... Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, I am off. So just let me know what works for you." Black's smile started to grow again

"Sunday's fine." Classic said after a small pause. Black's excitement got the best of him.

"PERFECT! What time should we meet up?" Little red stars danced in his sockets. Classic froze and relaxed, he smiled as he watched the little stars.

"noon?" He hummed

"That sounds great!" They pulsed a bit, he was clearly excited and happy.

"I like the stars in your eyes." Classic smiled softly.

"H-huh? What?" Blackberry blinked and immediately they were gone, he blushed and shrank in his chair "I h-had them out?"

"no!! why'd you hide them? they looked so pretty!" Classic whined

"N-No! They aren't!" He straightened in his seat and looked down. His face as tomato, he did his best to ignore it.

"I liked them, you seemed so happy." Classic argued he couldn't help but smile.

"Th-they make me seem childish..." He shove a pancake in his mouth.

"childish?I make puns almost every second and you think starry eye's are childish?"

"You're puns are jokes, admittedly terrible ones, but still jokes, and your jokes aren't usually childish." Black argued.

"even if they rattle your bones?"

Black paused and snrked

"did I tickle your funny bone?"

"Stop..." Black tried to hide his smile.

"aww~ don't be so Black-hearted" Classic smirked

Blackberry gave a smile whine, Classic decided to hand the metaphorical in the towel "told you, it's childish."

"I still think they aren't." Black had two hands over his mouth.

And breakfast happily dragged on and while Black wasn't looking, Classic paid for their food.

"We both have our own opinions." Black huffed finally starting to settle down.

"yeah, so accept the fact I paid, come on." Classic slipped in what he had done.

"What?" His head shot up "When?"

"come on, Black." Classic motioned and winked at him

"Stop that." Black jumped up and rushed after Classic.

"why should I?" Classic hummed coyly as he walked into the shop area.

"It's..." He didn't have a good reason to give, he stuck close to Classic, it was already so crowded, you could barely take a step without running into something.

Classic wrapped an arm around Black and pulled him close, Black became very tense as a soft red blush graced his face. He looked at Black with shit eating grin, Black shot Classic a glare at his captor.

"by the way, I recognized the flirting tactic earlier, just wanted to give a bit of Classical karma." Classic winked

"Which one?" Blackberry fidgeted, regretting having asked that. He took in a breath and gathered courage.

"the one in the car" Classic watched him

"I was just making sure to make it obvious for you." Black smiled, pulling off a snarky smile.

Classic snickered "I know the purpose behind it, you can just ask me bluntly and I'll tell you most things."

Blackberry looked away, "I have no idea what you are talking about."

"trying to get more information from me, 'flirting is the best method', please. I know all of Lust's tricks." He winked "Lust and I grew up together after all."

Black's 'gut' dropped, and made a noise, he wished that he actually own some hoodies or something to hid his face.

Classic hummed and bought some chocolate, and finally guided Black to the car.

Once in the car, Black played with the passenger side door's lock.

Classic offered him some chocolate as he buckled up. "so what do you think of our first date?"

Black snapped his head back, so he could look at Classic, Classic threw his head back and laughed.

"Th-that wasn't a d-d-date!" he took the chocolate for Classic "I-It was just two f-friends g-getting to kn-know e-each other!"

Classic sighed and relaxed "keep it"

"Wh-what?" He looked at the chocolate. His eye lights were little hearts, but they quickly reverted back to their normal shape.

"Oh... th-thank you..." He mumbled, 'Was that actually a date...?'

"do you need to go home or to the bar?" Classic smiled and started up the car.
