Back at the Midoriya's Apartment, Inko was crying her eyes out in joy as her son had made in into the finals.

Inko: WAAAAAH! My Izuku! My Baby! I'm so proud of you!!!! WAAAAAH!!!

Mitsuki: W-Whoa! Inko! Calm down before you flood the living room.

Katsuki's parents, Mitsuki and Masaru, along with Tohru were invited over to Inko's house to watch the festival.

All four parents were happy that their sons had made it to the finals. Especially Inko. For a second there...She thought her son didn't get in...But he did...thanks to his teammate with the bird head...

Inko's crying turned to sniffles as she blows her noise into the napkin she was holding.

Inko: I-I'm sorry...I'm just so happy for him.

Tohru: He really did pull through~! Just like my Mikoto! He made it first place!

Masaru: Such a shame Katsuki only got third place...He looks so mad right now.

Mitsuki: Tch. Well maybe this will teach the brat that he can't win all the time. I swear all I ever hear from him is "I'M GOING TO BE THE NUMBER ONE HERO AND EVERYONE ELSE HERE ARE NOTHING BUT EXTRAS!" Seriously, and here I thought slapping him on the head a bit would knock some sense into him...

Masaru: *Wary* Mitsuki....

Tohru watches from the TV as the son of the Bakugos screamed in rage while his teammates looked at him annoyed for reaching third place.

Tohru: I-Is he always like that....?

The other three parents sighed in anticipation.

Mitsuki: Sadly yes...The brat gets the temper from me...and the mix of my and Masaru's quirks to create his explosive quirk doesn't make anything better.

Tohru: I see...So this is the explosive kid that Mikoto was talking about...

Just hearing that this is the boy that harmed Midoriya for years made him feel sick to his stomach. The boy didn't  deserved to put down like that.

Masaru: Y-Yes...B-But please excuse his actions...He just wants to be a hero.

Mitsuki: Yeah. The brat got potential but he's going to continue putting it to waste if his oversized ego doesn't go away. BTW, Inko, how is Izuku-kun doing...I haven't seen him in a while...

Inko made a small smile at her friend.

Inko: O-Oh well. He's doing fine. Ever since he got to U.A, he had made so many friends. He talks about them everyday. He even still talks about Miichan.

Tohru gave a small laugh.

Tohru: Ha ha! Because the two of them are best friends. Mikoto never did stop talking about Izuku either. He treats Midoriya-kun like a brother he never had. Ever since the day they met, they been practically inseparable.

Inko: *Smiles Emotionally* I'm glad to hear that. Izuku didn't have many friends until he met Mikoto-kun...So I'm still thankful that someone has been supporting and watching after my baby.

Both Mitsuki and Masaru looked at each other. They remembered the times where their son and Izuku used to be friends...Until their son got his quirk...and their friendship went down the drain.

It didn't make anything better when they learned what their son has been doing to Izuku over the past decade since they were in elementary school.

Seriously though...They had years to deal with his behaviour and they clearly did nothing. So they only have themselves to blame...

Mitsuki: Inko...

Inko: Mitsuki-chan...? What is it?

Mitsuki: I just...wanted to apologise for all the things the brat said and done to Izuku. I should've kept my eye on him and should've done more. Because after what I recently learned what he had done. I felt like it was my fault...I'm hoping this doesn't break our friendship.

Inko: Mitsuki-chan... It's all the past now... Although I am disappointed in Katsuki. But I'm sure Izuku wouldn't me to be angry or would you want you to blame yourself. I'm also disappointed in myself for not being supportive to Izuku's dreams...But for now on...I will be there for him whenever he needs me.

Mitsuki: Yeah...I guess you're right...But still. We raised Katsuki better than that. He shouldn't be so mean to Izuku-kun~! I mean seriously Inko! Your son is an angel! He forgives people too easily.

Inko: I know~! But...just to remind you. Next time I see Katsuki....We are going to have a LONG talk.

The other parents were now staring at Inko in horror. Usually, she was a friendly and patient soul. But when someone threatens to hurt her son, she will go "Mama Bear" on you.

Mitsuki:....Y-Yeah! Of course! I even hold the brat down if you want me too!

Inko: Oh. That won't do~! No violence please...

Mitsuki: O-Okay! (That was scary!)

As the two woman chat, Masaru and Tohru stayed quiet for a minute or two after hearing that.

Tohru: Wow...and hear I thought my wife was scary...

Masaru: *Sighs* You get used to it. Women will be the death of us someday...

Tohru just chuckled before turning his attention back to the screen which had landed on Todoroki Shouto for a moment.

Tohru:......

Masaru: Is something wrong...?

Tohru: O-Oh! No! Just lost into a thought. Hey Inko! Want me to help make some snacks. The next round won't be to a hour~!

Inko: Okay!

Tohru leaves Masaru puzzled. As soon as the man was out of sight, Tohru's smile went to a frown.

Tohru:.... It's been too long...

-Meanwhile-

Deku: So, what did you want to talk about…?

Izuku asks nervously as Todoroki stands across from him and Mikoto.

Todoroki doesn’t respond for a long moment. He just stares.

Mikoto grew a little irritated. If he wanted to say something to them. Say it already. Don't just stare and make people uncomfortable.

Shouto: Midoriya...Are you All Might’s secret love child or something?

Izuku blinks in surprise. For a second, he doesn’t even process what Todoroki is asking. Mikoto just went gap before saying.

Mikoto: Wait, WHAT ?!

That's what he wanted to see Izuku for...? To ask that?!! For someone who wanted to talk to them about something important...That right there...sounded really DUMB...

Midoriya broke out of his thoughts before he utters his own exclamation.

Deku: HUH?! I can definitely see where you might get that idea, but you’ve got it all wrong, I swear! I mean, um, I guess that even if it was true I would still say no, but- that’s not the point! It’s just- it’s not like that!

Shouto: Oh...Sorry for jumping to conclusions then. Although, that’s a weird way to phrase it… ‘it’s not like that’. Does that mean you do have some connection to All Might?

Deku: Um… well...

Mikoto: (So now we're talking about All Might? But what does all this have to do with me.......?)

Of course he’s noticed how similar All Might and Midoriya are, but he hadn't thought none of it. The real question is why Todoroki asking?

Shouto: I’m not going to ask you what your connection is...That’s none of my business. But because there is a connection, I have to beat you.

Mikoto winced. That's a bit harsh if you ask him...

Deku: B-But why?

Mikoto: Yeah...What is your point in trying to beat him? Why him...? What about the connection between him and All Might?

Todoroki doesn’t respond for a long moment. Before he decided to them a long, long story.

...And it isn’t a happy one...

Shouto: Have you two heard of quirk marriages?

Then Shouto went on to telling his tale about his father...

Izuku and Mikoto stood there listening to the teen. How Endeavor was a power-hungry man wanting nothing more but to surpass All Might.

He even went as far as to resort to quirk marriage. He bought out Todoroki's mother, Rei, from her family just to get his hands on her quirk. With his child succeeding where he failed. He forced his own ambitions on his children's future. His siblings were put to aside deemed as failures, while seeing Shouto for a means of gaining the place of number one. A useful tool.

His mother, hating the man so much, threw scalding water on his face. Therefore, that's how he got the burn mark. It was then Todoroki promised himself he would never use his fire quirk, to rise to the top without it.

His declaration...

His hate for the man.

Just hearing all this made Mikoto feel disgust for Endeavor.

He never really liked the man. But hearing Shouto's side of the story made him hate the man even more.

He now understands why Todoroki refuses to use his left side...But... doesn't Shouto even realized what he's actually doing...

Even if he isn't using his left side...

He's unintentionally giving Endeavor what he wants.

Shouto: That’s all. That’s why I have to beat you Midoriya...Thanks for listening, I guess.

Deku:......

Mikoto: Umm...Shouto...Right?

Shouto looks at Yukimura with an expressionless look.

Shouto: Yes...?

Mikoto: If you wanted to tell only Izuku this...Why are you telling me this too...?

Shouto didn't say anything at first until speaking once more.

Shouto:...I just thought it was alright for you to hear my story as well...

Mikoto: *Raised Eyebrow*....Okay?

Shouto: I should get going now...See you both in the finals...oh and Yukimura...It was nice seeing you again....

Mikoto: ......Eh?

The boy walks out of the tunnel leaving the two boys confused. They were all unaware their conversation was being eavesdropped by Bakugo...he heard everything...Before Shouto could spot him, the blond boy took off. FAST.

Deku: W-Well...I should get going too.

Mikoto: Y-Yeah...See you later.

The two boys separated as Mikoto was still confused by Todoroki's words.

"Yukimura...It was nice seeing you again...."

Mikoto: Really...? Again? (What does he mean by that?!)

Have they...actually met before...?! If that's so...When was that...?!

-Meanwhile-

Geysis: Yuki-Onna. Your son and Todoroki to seem to have quite similar but powerful abilities.

Fumiko:......Yeah...

Geysis: Care to elaborate?

The Yuki-Onna gave him a ice-cold glare.

Fumiko:....That is none of your business...
