The world was a colorless gray.

Jack didn't know how to interact with other kids during that gray world...

Everyone thought Jack lived an easy life.

He was always full of energy and optimistic right?

Wrong...

At the age of four...he never received his quirk...

Jack had trouble socializing with the other kids...

Believe or not...He was one of the most quietest kids you ever would come across in pre-school...

He kept to himself and avoided being in groups.

Parents...were always busy so rich stuck-up jobs.

He felt...

Alone...

The other kids started treating him like he was made of glass...like he was a mentally crippled person...

They begin to talk behind his back... they were mocking him...

At a young age, Jack was one of those people who rely on fear and don't believe in trust are ruled by their own fears. Most likely the fear of deceit and betrayal.

He had no will to trust those who will break him.

Loneliness can be pretty painful to those who even try to take a stand on their own and to those who don't give the world a chance.

He always thought he'll be stuck in that cold, gray world...

That is until he recently gotten red headphones for his ninth birthday...

Once he begin to sing a hero song to cheer him up...

The unexpected happend...

Jack: 🎶HEROES NEVER DIE!!!🎶.....Eh?!

And that's when his quirk activated...

Which was...music...

The gift of music...

Once he put those red headphones on...

They changed his entire world...

It turned the once colorless gray world...into a beautiful colorful world...

He gotten his quirk! He finally gotten his quirk!

Jack finally begin to get excited...

Music became a message to him...

The combination of the right lyrics, rhythm and instruments can build someone's identity, stir strong emotions, engage groups and audiences and amass people to take action.

Then he saw his first hero who became his inspiration.

That man...gave him his chance...

His chance to inspire others...

Jack's inverted personality took a sharp turn and he became more self-confident.

That's how the story of Jack Anderman, the soon to be hero, Music Zest, was born!

Jack: (How can I let myself be called a hero from the previous encounters I've made in the past. I've reverting back to that horrible memory...I've done so many stupid things...not being able to help my classmates so much... especially Yin...I pinned the blame on him the day he got kidnapped...and made things worse when I found out he was the traitor...I admit it...I'm not a good friend because I secretly don't how to trust others...once my trust upon others is broken...I was angry...I...couldn't have been more wrong...)

Jack put his head down in guilt...refusing to let the tears fall out...or show the enemy his moment of weakness.

Jack: (Hero make mistakes right...? That's fine...although...it still doesn't take back all the horrible things I've said to Yin...to Souta...to Class 1-A...to everyone...For now on...I won't be weak anymore! I'll stand up...and fight! Like a hero! I won't let things end here!!! Like everyone else! My friends! My family! U.A! For all of them!

Jack faced up aganist Rappa with determination.

Jack: (I will be a HERO!!!)

Fat Gum starts bleeding and hopes that he can withstands Rappa for a few more seconds. Rappa prepares for another assault while Fat Gum points out Rappa and Tengai's flaw in their assumption that he is just a mere shield. Fat Gum has actually been absorbing Rappa's fierce punches and accumulating them; although absorbing the punches is taking a lot of energy and as a result are burning away his fat which makes his defense weaker, in return, Fat Gum is able to turn Rappa's accumulated punches into strength.

Sensing something is off, Tengai asks Rappa to finish Fat Gum and Jack off.

Tengai: Get Rid of Them...Now...

However, despite absorbing all of Rappa's punches and accumulating them into strength, Fat Gum is not able to release the stored up attacks. Too excited because Fat Gum is still alive after taking many assaults, Rappa continues his battle frenzy assault and tried to attack Jack.

Fat Gum: Anderman!!!

Jack: Oh shi-?!!

Suddenly, Eijiro appears in front of Jack, which surprises Tengai. Eijiro is struck by Rappa's fierce punches and manages to withstand it, which takes Rappa by surprise.

Rappa then praises Eijiro's resilience while Eijiro desperately tries Hardening and tries punching Rappa, only for Tengai to activate his barrier around Rappa.

Tengai criticizes Eijiro for his meaningless intervention.

As he falls to the ground, a bloody and beaten Eijiro states that his intervention was not meaningless as it has given Fat Gum the time needed to release his accumulated strength.

Jack: Kirishima...stand down...Let me take over for you.

Jack's eyes turned sharp as this surprised the Villains once they noticed his eyes showed music tones in them.

Fat Gum, who is now shrunken and skinny yet muscular, reprimands Tengai for calling Eijiro's intervention meaningless.

Thanks to Eijiro few seconds of bravery, Fat Gum has absorbed Rappa's accumulated blows which has in return given him great strength.

The slender and muscular Fat Gum prepares to put all of his great strength in a single punch.

Rappa: Tengai! Release the barrier!

Tengai wasn't listening as he was distracted by Kirishima's meaningless display of bravery was so that Fat Gum and Music Zest could initiate his plan.

The barely conscious Eijiro knows that while there are frightening things going through his mind at the moment, there is one thing that puts all his other fears to shame...the one thing he deeply feared was reverting back into a pathetic coward, and never wants to feel that regret again.

But Jack...Jack told him even if he is afraid...he can still be a hero. Even someone as manly as him can still be one even if they're scared...

Kirishima: (Thank you Jack....)

The slim and muscular Fat Gum takes hold of the badly injured Eijiro and remarks to Rappa and Tengai that they along with him underestimated Eijiro which is why they will lose.

Tengai raises his barrier to maximum, but Rappa notes the futility.

Rappa: HURRY UP ALREADY TENGAI! I WANT TO BEAT THEM UP!

Jack: Shut up!!!

Rappa: ?!

Tengai: It's you that should keep quiet, boy. Like your friend, you are no match aganist us.

Jack: Shut up...You hurt my friend...You think I'm gonna back down now...because I scared and weak...I still want to be a hero! Like everyone else at U.A! I won't be controlled by the past anymore. Any past mistakes I made...I will no longer regret them...all the pain I buried within deep... it's time I face it...

Jack then took a deep breath before he made a grin.

Jack: If you were like me...If you listen to music...it can change the world...it can even change people's hearts...even villains...to inspire them to be their own heroes!!! 🎶 IT'S TIME TO GO....LIVE!!!!!!!! MY VOICE WILL BE HEARD TODAY!!! 🎶

Fatgum: Anderman....

Jack: 🎶JUST IN TIME!!!!🎶

Then his red headphones started glowing. Large music tones started coming out making more a large vocal sound wave as the two villains' eyes went wide.

Jack: 🎶I've Got A Hero! I've Got A Hero!🎶

Jack begins to glow the color of blue.

Jack: I can hear them...The sweet melodies...the gift of music...that shape my world...I refuse to go back to that colorless world! This is it...This is why I'm here...Fat Gum! Distract them!

Fat Gum nodded and turns to them.

Fatgum: It's time you guys taste the manly spirit of the Hero, Red Riot, Music Zest, and my immense strength!

Jack:🎶Who's gonna fight for what's right?! Who's gonna help us survive?!
We're in the fight of our lives!
(And we're not ready to die)! 🎶

Fat Gum delivers a punch that smashes through Tengai's barrier with ease.

Jack: 🎶Who's gonna fight for the weak! Who's gonna make 'em believe!
I've got a hero (I've got a hero)!
Livin' in me; I'm gonna fight for what's right! Today I'm speaking my mind! And if it kills me tonight
(I will be ready to die)! 🎶

The punch had blasts both Rappa and Tengai back, heavily injuring them.

Jack: 🎶A hero's not afraid to give his life!!! A hero's gonna save me just in time!!! 🎶

Rappa: FUCK!

Tengai: Gck...No...

Jack: 🎶I need a hero to save me now!
I need a hero (save me now)!
I need a hero to save my life!
A hero will save me (just in time)!🎶

Fat Gum: Music Zest! Now!

Jack begin to summon forth all the power of music through his headphones before letting it all out.

Jack: 🎶 MUSIC ZEST: BOOMBURST!!!!! 🎶

A large sound wave breaks through the area sending both shocked villains back before hitting hard concrete upon sheer impact.

Music Zest and Fat Gum defeated Rappa and Tengai.

Jack: 🎶A Hero Gonna Save Me Just In Time~! Music Zest...Out~!🎶

-Meanwhile-

He started to gain consciousness...

A bright light shine on his face. His golden eyes soon opened wide to stare at the ceiling's white pale color.

But he had no idea where he was at...

???: Hey...you okay?

The fox boy was soon greeted by Mikoto, who had an worried look on his face. The little boy begin to get scared...

Mikoto: It's okay...You're in the hospital...

Boy: W-Where is he...?

Mikoto: Who?

Boy: T-The bad man...

Mikoto: ...Don't worry...The bad man is gone now...

The boy shuddered remembering the horrible things the man did to him...he then looked at his arm.

It was bandaged.

Mikoto: If you're wondering where you're at...you're in the hospital...

Boy: Hospital?

Mikoto nodded with a smile.

Mikoto: Yes. A place where nice people take care of you...A-Anyway...I'm Mikoto...The Snowball Hero. Can I ask...what your name is...if you don't mind...?

The little boy shyly nodded.

Inari: I'm...Inari...Inari Kotetsu...

Mikoto: I see...tell me Inari...Do you know if we can get in contact with your parents? They must be worried sick about you...

Inari:.....

Mikoto: Inari-kun?

What the small fox boy said next made Mikoto feel a really unpleasant feeling...
